First season only. The budget, designs, and quality of the stories just utterly tanked in the second season. But the first season = much love. Especially since they actually borrowed some of Kipling's other Jungle Book stories, only tweaking 'em around so that Mowgli could be omitted. "Red Dogs" and the one with the white cobra come immediately to mind.

And I don't know if it'd constitute a cheap design ploy (and thus a pet peeve) or if it was meant as an inside joke, but did anyone else see Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed's striped hyena dopplegangers?

Anyways, *jungle cub fan* Series 1 is much better than the second but Shere Khan is still awesome in it.

Random fact but did anyone realise that cub Shere Khan's voice is done by Jason Marsden? Voice of adult Kovu :vitsm:

yupppers, season 1 rocked and season 2 well sunked ...

just bought me a video with 3 eps form ebay.. it has how the panther lost his roar, the great kaadini. and who wants to be a baboon ;).

the video is subtitled Crazy congo capers. and there's another video . I'm going to try to get that since J.C has been off the air forever.. even toon Disney doesn't play it...but they suck nowadays anyways...

also have a cubby Baggy sqeauky toy that came in a set of Jungle Cub squeakies, it had Louie,Shere Khan,Baggy,and Baloo..

Oh yes, Jungle Cubs, I loved that show, and I often look on my TV Guide to see if it's on, but always to no avail unfortunately.

needless to say I got my Jungle Cubs Video from way back when,and also managed to snaggle the 2nd volume of the series too! XD.. I think there's a Jungle Cubs UK Vhs floating somewhere but I don't know what eps are on it..
