It may not look that fun on this photograph but there's a lot more to it such as the cinema, swimming baths, shopping outlet etc.

My town is pretty boring to tell you the truth, nothing much fun goes on. :eww:

Hmm... let me think about this... Ft. Wayne is really boring... and I'm not just saying that because it's where I live, but it's true... there's really nothing to do.
Some shots from the new outdoor mall they built... Including possibly the best theater around (the Rave) ... why they decided to put one in Ft. Wayne, I have no idea.

Let's see... what else...
Oh yeah they just upgraded our Memorial Coliseum... so it doesn't have wood seats anymore and added seating so Aerosmith would actually find it worthwhile to come here:
http://www.memorialcoliseum.com/images/index_pg/Coliseum/Arena.jpg
And the stadium where our minor-league team plays...
http://www.memorialcoliseum.com/images/index_pg/Wizards/June%20089.jpg
There's also a mercury hazardous waste depot...
https://www.dnsc.dla.mil/eis/images/Photos/overpacking_3.jpg
We also have an international airport but it's always cheaper to go through Indianapolis or Chicago or Detroit.
Hmm... what else...
There's nothin' else. We're just that boring.

There's an extension being built on our current and crappy shopping centre. It's gonna be attached to the railway station:
http://www.frenchgateinterchange.co.uk/basic/FGVRstillchurch.jpg
That is what it's gonna look like.
At the moment it's called the frenchgate centre in which when the extension is finished, it'll be called the frenchgate interchange:
http://www.donny.co.uk/Doncaster/wallpaper/images/wp_frenchgate_1024.jpg
:eww:
Also, we're getting an airport built here which is gonna be called 'Robin Hood Airport'. I think it's a stupid name myself. :bleen:

And the Frenchgate center looks interesting.
la_reina: Ft. Wayne, Indiana. yes there is a city in Indiana besides Indianapolis.
Johnny Appleseed died in Fort Wayne, btw:

I live in the middle of nowhere really. We have no mall, we have no big cinema, we have no amuzement parks, we have no zoo or animal santuary. If you want to see a bear or a cougar you go looking for a feral one in the mountains to the west and you probably don't come back in one piece or if you die, you are never found.
We find our own fun, biking, horseback riding, hiking, skiing, anf snowboarding.
http://www.bishopvisitor.com/images/body_photo/pic_29.jpg
This is one of the less impressive hills round here.
http://www.thesierraweb.com/bishop/bishopcreek.jpg
The creek surrounded by some tiny peaks of the huge mountains around here.
http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/9652/ba9705c.jpg
And the nicest part of Main Street ^^ We have parades and such here. Pretty fun in my opinion.

Fun places in San Antonio... hmmmm well there's
The Riverwalk... Food, shopping and... boats. :p
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/hasirakali/riverwalk-2a.jpg
The Alamo... Very solemn place but very cool anyway. Especially to people not from Texas.
SEA WORLD! Employer of the HasiraKali and all around cool place. Swimming, animals, and entertainment. :D
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/hasirakali/MVC-279S.jpg
Six Flags Fiesta Texas... competition and not so fun...
My second favorite place in the city... The Majestic Theater :D Which, oddly enough, is the name of the theater in New York where Phantom of the Opera plays. :D
Patrick Wilson was in the Alamo remake that premiered there... he's in the Phantom movie.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/hasirakali/majestictheater.jpg
And the inside...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/hasirakali/MajesticTheater002.jpg
There're countless clubs too. Especially around the college downtown. =D

I couldn't find any pic of the best place for fun in my town... =/
It's a shopping centre called Planetocio, and has lots of things, such as a Cinema, different kinds of stores, restaurants, etc.
There's another big shopping centre called "Los Valles", but I prefer the other one. However, this one is also good and I usually go there.

:thinks: More than 4 outa 5 places I've lived had (not countin Ft Benning :p)
Franklinville, NY:
Was looong time ago, and all I can recall is a 'SuperDuper' supermarket, and a private dental office...ohyeah, and a two-building school (high/elem).
Of course, I lived in the middle of nowhere; our nearest neighbors were on opposite horizons x.x
West Valley, NY:
Nobody outside of the town would know it existed, if not for the nuclear waste dump. Seriously. Other attractions include the volunteer fire hall, one-building school (k-12), and A&D Engles Milk haulers.(sp, been a while)
Machias, NY:
A lil bit more, being nestled on a fairly major road hub (for the boonies), but not much more than above. Town pool, and a semi-large sporting goods/military surplus store.
Holland, NY:
The one town I lived in that had something interesting: A racetrack. Besides that, a three-building school system, and an abandoned toy factory.
So ha.

This will probably be the places in my town. It's a house called CuLTUREN where you can eat, shop, play theater, hang out, see arts, play instruments... It got cinemas, scenes and so on.... A big culture place...
http://home.swipnet.se/~w-31670/blejd/bad2.jpg
And here's a place where you can swim and have fun, just nearby the beach. This is the biggest whatever-it-is-called in this town..
http://www.malardalensstangsel.com/bilder_stangsel/parken1_325.jpg
This look kinda boring, but it will be a pic of a zoo we have. On the summers you can swim there too, ride rollercoasters, look at the animals (lions and meerkats^^) see artists on the scene (where I play a show every summer!) and stuffs like that... We have a bigger zoo too where you only look at more african animals, giraffes, rhinos, wildbeests and elephants etc., you can also ride on camels and watch dolphin shows...! Or even go in to the animals to touch them....Well, I think you got the point...

Finally ... This is like our Dinseyland:p You go there by boat (it's on an island) and it's a hugh place in two parts, one for the older and one for the younger (everything there is so sweet^^)
