Okay, I believe my last thread floated somewhere down to the bottom, so just to re-get everybody's attention.

Prince Simba.com (http://www.princesimba.com) has undergone a lot of changes since I last talked about it. The game is now fully functional, forum independent. So, all y'all better head on over there and take a look at what I've done, and I'd really appreciate it if you guys would add it to your bookmarks so you don't lose it :)

I have plans over the summer to redo a major part of the site, but it won't come for awhile, so get over there and play the game. Consider it in beta mode until I get the attack functions programmed ;)

I hope to see everybody there.

Security/unseen features:
- Passwords are hashed in database.
MD5 hashing is a one-way algorithm that encrypts a string into a checksum.
- Admin break-in attempt logging. Any unsuccessful attempt at an admin action is logged.
- Account abuse logging. Any unsuccessful attempt at editing/deleting/viewing a post that isn't allowed is logged.
- Powerful login system keeps user logged in using cookies storing encrypted/insensitive data
- Powerful debugging systems
- Extensible and versatile software

Conveniences:
- Low loading times
- Low bandwidth usage

Coming soon:
- PM's
- Possibly forum polls
- Possibly member blogs

I'm no more talanted at what I do than some others. I just know what I'm doing, have the drive to do it, and have the will to learn something new in order to get there.

Probably no more talanted that the makers of Invision Power Board and vBulletin. Some of the greats. It's a very good thing that concepts are not property, otherwise I'd be out of business :lol:
