Ok...is it Christmas already?8O

After a very...strange set of events, I discovered these gems today:

- A full video copy of the Lion King workprint from 1993: https://archive.org/details/thelionkingworkprint_202101/VTS_01_1.VOB

Be warned that the image quality is terrible, but the audio is decent. There's a lot of content I have not seen before...not linearly arranged like this anyway.

-A full copy of The Lion King Laserdisc Letterbox version: https://archive.org/details/lion-king-laserdisc-capture

(Yay for old IJCWTBK crocodiles...)

There's also some of the "making of" extra content available:

https://archive.org/details/side-6-laserdisc
https://archive.org/details/side-7-laserdisc
https://archive.org/details/side-8-laserdisc

I've seen this content online before, but not on this quality.:wow:

Oooh, I'll be watching that making off!
I always thought it was the making off presented by Robert Guillome, like the version that's on the special edition VHS box.

I also have another different making off version, that was aired on TV.

Oooh, wow! :o Very, very cool stuff! I'll be watching this too

Gosh, there is something so charming about the old "VHS-like" quality of the film. It's probably all the nostalgia

Agreed! So much nostalgia... Or it could just be the crocodiles. I find it hard to believe now, but those crocodiles frightened me as a kid...for some reason.:p

nathalie; Do you mean the extra special edition VHS tape from 1994? Is that content different from that of the laserdisc?:o

The vhs box edition has Robert Guillome presenting the making off video.

Thank you. I love all of these: "Making of/Behind the scene" Stuff. I had the VHS but I couldn't remember what was the content but this definitely up in my alley. especially the storage size due for standard definition back then. ;)
