I like this concept. I hope it really will be as good as shown. :D
The main question for me now is how long will the battery last?

That actually looks really cool! :ooo:
There's still some questions I want answered, like the battery life, of if the device will have a touch screen (it wasn't implied in this trailer), but that sure has a good presentation.
I'm so glad they didn't follow with the Wii name brand, and I like it has so many ways to be played, but it can also be played classic style with just a controller and a TV screen, so it doesn't feel like like they're forcing players into playing their way, like the Wii and Wii U.
It seems that Nintendo is really learning from their mistakes now :)

to question the wii mote like? Uh, that's difficult to answer as the moment, same with the portable screen itself.

I just wanted to pop in and say that I'm actually pretty excited about this system! All the possibilities of it! Just think about it! Nintendo is definitely seeming to be learning from their mistakes! I feel like this could be the first step in them getting rid of handhelds and home consoles as separate entities! Literally the best of both worlds! :cheese:

I don't think they will compete against Microsoft or Sony, but Hardcore gamers going to buy this console due for hybrid and own powerful machine made by Nvidia. I've been reading a lot of debates regarding demographics, system, and design. Non of the argument have any conclusion at the moment until those discussion and prediction were true.

I have a mixed feeling on Super Mario Odyssey. City platformer reminds me much of Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. :gasp: :cringe:

Thanks for the link, Fendi. I still don't know if the Switch is really worth all the money, but I've heard they want to bring Skyrim to the new console. That would be awesome!
I hope some other great games will follow. Nintendo deserves a comeback. ;)

Well, I finally got my Nintendo Switch! :D And it has delivered so far, it's a pretty neat device (and switching between play modes is addictive xD)
I have only played a bit of Zelda BotW, but I was still awed by it, it looks really gorgeous in both console and portable modes, I love it.
I also got Mario Kart 8, so if any of you have it, I'd be up for sharing my friend code and have some races :)

if you're a big fan of Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on Wii U? Here is what you get on Switch. Two things: The gaming files are smaller and much more compact, with that? the loading time would be faster than the Wii U Version.

I love the Donkey Kong Country games, and Tropical Freeze was an awesome game. I think I would even say it might be my favorite Donkey Kong game. The levels were fun and challenging, and I love the music in that game. But I already own it on the Wii U, so I wont be buying it for the Switch. But I hope this means that Tropical Freeze will make more sales, hopefully enough that a new Donkey Kong Country game will made. Tropical Freeze came out over four years ago, and I remember reading it just didn't sell very well. But maybe that has to do with Wii U's poor sales.

Hmm that might be the recommendation I needed. I loved Donkey Kong Country Returns on Wii, and I never got to play Tropical Freeze. So I might go ahead and get the Switch version :)
I'm also aiming to get Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, since I never played the Wii U one either. And of course... I'm anxiously waiting for more Smash Bros news :D

I agree with Leor, if you miss out on Wii U games that rereleasing on Switch? Grab it now as Tropical Freeze is technically one of the best Action Adventure 2d Platformer game around at the moment, maybe in history.
