Wish I could pay with paypal. That lets you pay with only a bank savings account. Great for Ebay.

There aren't any at the one where I work. :( Oh well. I got a nice wildlife calendar from someone last week, so I'm good.

All calendars were 50% off at Borders starting this past Sunday.

Must ... stop ... talking ... about ... work ...

Calendars usually display all the monthly panels somewhere on the packaging.

I saw a full-size and a small TLK calendar at some calendar place in the shopping centre i go to, but unfortunately i didn't get either of them because i have this feeling that i need to keep my TLK-fandom a secret

But they also had a really nice Lions calendar, which had lots of pics of cute cubs and majestic looking lions etc. Before Christmas it was $21.95, which is an awful lot. I didn't get it right away because i wanted to think it over a little more (where i would put it, because i don't usually put up calendars).

Anyway, when i decided i did want it, it was after Christmas and they have 50% off. So i went back and had a look for it, and they were all sold out. I was really disappointed :(

After that i went to a different place that sells calendars and found a BBC Africa one. It's not great but it does have some nice pics in it, so that's the one i have on my wall now :cheese:

The shaped calender disappointed me. It's glued in. So you have to rip the old month away. If it's anything like sketchbooks with the same glue then it'll probably just fall off if you bend it up. It's a cute concept besides that!

Good to know there are alternatives though. Even if they have pretty much the same clip art time and time again ; P

How much are the calendars? I can't find them in my local stores. I might end up buying one from Amazon.com or Ebay.

Later.

It's so unfair, that some country's don't get any stuff like that at all :(

Disney don't pay half as much attention to Europe as they do to America. And they call themselves a global company...oh well...
:(

Maybe one day we'll actually get them to ship TLK merchandise in Europe as well.

I imagine finding Lion King merchandise in Rzeczpospolita Polska is hard. :(

I want the Kr?l Lew, wydanie specjalne.

Maybe you can find somethings on eBay or Amazon? Just an idea.

It costs $12 USD on Amazon.com. I think Calendars.com is a merchant on Amazon.com.

I want the soundtracks too! I'm still trying to figure out how to buy some international CDs and DVDs. Hmm.

I need to go to bed now. It's 0753 in the morning. lol I'm so confused.

I'am highest bidder! Yea Ebay I bought all 3 calendars for 2005. They are all cool The Simba Shapped on is on my desk at school, the big normal one is at home, and the small one is on my desk at home.
Paypal is very sweet system, and safe. but of course you need to be 18 to do so.

May 18th, 2005, 03:31 PM
I managed fine on e-bay without using PayPal.

Only thing is, that some won't ship outside their country.

have you thought about making one yourself? Get some screenshots from the films, then just find the dates you want the the internet.

That way, you can have what images you want, on which ever month you want!

lionloversam
May 18th, 2005, 07:53 PM
That is a great idea.

I couldn't find any 2005 calendars on eBay. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong section.

I know some people don't ship outside of the US or Canada. Some people in the continental USA don't ship to Alaska or Hawaii either.

I'll try to make my own calendar using screenshots from the VHS tape. Cool idea!

I got 2 of the 2005 TLK calendars off Ebay, but I'm afraid it's probably too late for people to continue selling the 2005 calendars, I mean the year is half over already. The art is a little bit different on the "Fun Shaped" one, kind of hard to explain but it's not as smoothly drawn.

I don't really care, if today I should buy a TLK calender from 1994 ... As long as it has got TLK on it :D

W-Eyed-Wanderer
May 19th, 2005, 08:33 PM
We could have a competition on here for the 2006 calenders...all those talented artists on this board...we could all vote for the images we wanted to see on each month and then someone could make them up.

Could charge a little bit for the postage and printing etc....and have our own unique Lea Halalela calenders!

Anyone have any mates who own posh printing places? Could get them all professionally made....and all keep very hush-hush about the various copyright issues...
;) :D
