I had been looking for this Timon flute for years now.
I'm not 100 % sure, but I think it's part of the McDonalds set that has the Simba rattle? (Simba on top of a red ball basically).

Then there's the Mufasa toy drum.
From the same series?

I've always known that flute exhisted, but have never seen the Mufasa toy. First time I saw it, was when I was at a local McDonalds about 7 months ago, and they had it in their display cabnet.
I've already begged for a toy before there (they said "no" 3 times at first), so I feel bad doing it again, haha

Not US McDonald's for sure. We should get them all and start a band. :p

I have a couple of McDonald's things which I suspect were Australian only. It was a series of Timon and Pumbaa games/puzzles from the mid-late 90's. I don't even know if I've got them all because I've never seen them posted anywhere online.

I've recently got pictures from a fast food database book, I believe the puzzles are in there! I had never seen them before.

Who knew that fast food database books were even a thing

It's quite an old book, but they apparently exhisted, lol.
Someone on an FB group was selling the book, and I asked if I could have pictures of any Lion King sets that were in there.

Is this the one you mean?

Yes that's the one :) I have both of those things (though the scrambled sticker puzzle on the right has been assembled). There's also a third item which from memory is a dominoes game, I can try to remember to take a picture of it tomorrow if you like (it's back in the bottom of the box).

Oh yes, thanks!
Besides the soundtrack cd's completing, which has come to a stop at the moment, trying to find complete fast food sets also.

I have an original Zira plush, still in the original packaging, from McDonalds, from the original SP release in 1998.

I also have a Gummy Bears figure from a cereal box(The prizes used to come IN the box, rather then via scan code or send away) also still in the original packaging, from 1988.

Cool. But this thread was actually about the picture I posted, haha, but basically no one anywhere has seen these toys before.
The only thing I know 100 % is, they are McDonalds. Just wanna know what year, or what set they belong to.

Rock out! :cs_rockon_3:

Unfortunately I have never seen those, either :(

Ok, so three days later I've managed to remember to dig the set out and take pics :p

My apologies for the image quality, I couldn't find my point and shoot so I ended up using my phone camera which is pretty bad.

First pic is all four items, then the next two are closer images. The puzzle, a whiteboard with tic-tac-toe game that came with crayons (which are in the little box in front), the Sticky Picky all stuck and pictured, and the mix and match game set. The top piece with the title has the game rules on the back. :D If anyone ever comes to visit, guess what we're playing

That's cool, thanks! I've never seen those on Australian ebay. And I check there a lot too, because there's another McDonalds set I'm dying to have! lol (the 4 piece-set, that kind of builds up to be a rock)

This one? http://www.deviantart.com/art/Lion-King-McDonalds-Australia-Simba-s-Pride-Toy-467985453 I'll keep an eye out in case I see it somewhere :)

Quick look on ebay I found it in the UK with some other Happy Meal toys :p http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-x-Australian-McDonalds-toys-Disney-Mulan-Lion-King-11-from-1998-/191845973989?hash=item2caae93fe5:g:sUYAAOSwZQxW5Wg T

Yes, those are the ones.
But I need them in their baggies, hehe.

I had the ebay link in my watchlist, but I'm no use with the other toys, without those postage could be half, lol.
I'm so picky :p

The flute and drum are from the same set as the Simba rattle, yes  I don't own either (I was never fond of them when they came out so I didn't bother to get them, haha), but they do belong to the same set. They were released in connection to the Special Edition I believe?

Yeah, I think it was 2003.
That Scar one belongs to that set also?
I've also found a Nala while ago, but seller didn't ship to Belgium, and I forgot to save the picture.

Weird I just can't find a leaflet with the toys on it at all.

They arrived today.
This Pumbaa drum-thinggy is from McDonalds too, so I'm guessing from the same set also.

So there's:
- Simba rattle
- Scar banging head ?? (remember that one Kanu?)
- Mufasa drum
- Timon flute
- Pumbaa drum thinggy

- Nala rattle ??

OH MY GOD, I've found the flyer! :D

Another Lion King collector finally managed to confirm all the toys in the set, and telling me she thought they were only released in Sweden (??) (but Belgium got them aswell).
She did mention 6 toys, not 8 though.

So I thought I'd give it a shot, by entering the Swedish translation for Lion King into google along with happy meal & mcdonalds.
And here we are, finally!

8 toys.
So I'm still missing 2, noooooooooooooooooooooooo
I do think the Zazu is also displayed at my local McDonalds, because there was a Zazu figurine I had never seen before.
I've already begged to get the Scar from that set, got a "no" 3 times, 4th time I e-mailed a supervisor, haha.
Maybe I'll try it again for Zazu
