I thought I'd get the ball rolling on this one.

I hope you all have a wonderful and Merry Christmas, and that you get to spend it with family/friends/beloved pet etc. And well wishes to those who don't celebrate Christmas but may celebrate something else at this time, I'm afraid I don't know the correct greetings :p

Our Christmas plans are just Pat and I together Christmas Eve with a present exchange (since traditionally my family has always opened presents on Christmas Eve), then on Christmas Day we're exchanging another small gift because I wanted to do it Pat's traditional way as well. We're visiting my mum and her partner for lunch on Christmas Day, and possibly visiting my sister-in-law who's just had their second child born today (Christmas Eve). On Boxing Day (26th) we're driving up North to visit and have lunch with my Nanna, and my sister's family.

To celebrate, here's a pic of Bandit investigating the Christmas Tree :D

I wish you all some nice and quiet holidays, too. (In case you're celebrating Christmas that is...)

Perhaps I'll post some pictures of our Christmas tree with a few Lion King ornaments later. If I have time. But for now I have to prepare lunch. My father in law just arrived and later my mum will join us. Then we'll go to church, have a nice meal and open the presents. So yeah... Have a nice time you all!

Merry Christmas, everyone! :hugs: Hope your holidays are filled with good times and cheer :)

Our Christmas Eve is coming to an end, but it's been a very nice day with the whole family and my grandparents. We've done the traditional Christmas breakfast, lunch and evening snack (in other words, eaten tons of food :p), we've watched the usual Donald Duck holiday special and opened our presents. In a little while we're gonna watch a film together, so I'm about to head downstairs and join them again.

Wishing the best to you all! :cs_happy_1:

Merry Christmas!

Glad its all over for me.
Heading to bed now (00.37 am, 25th)
It was really boring, we already opened pressies around 8.30 pm instead of the usual 10 pm.

And everything just didn't felt right for me, something was missing.

It got fun when my sister finally turned on the Wii, and we played pictionary.

Ill be heading back to Kenny's tomorrow, where on Christmas day ill be home alone and watch Lion King broadcasted on tv for us for the very first time *yay*

Merry Christmas ya'll!

This time of year is always so exhausting for me...so many things to attend and I'm always drafted into the Baking Brigade.
Just got home from a Christmas Eve party and I'm happy it's over and one with. I'm looking forward to spending Christmas day with my husband (who is FINALLY home for a while...HUZZAH!) and guzzling excessive amounts of eggnog. Here's hoping it's a low-key day. ^__^

Merry Christmas to all! I am having a quiet Christmas back home with family. I flew in a couple of days ago and will be here til Tuesday. Kind of weird to be someplace with no car, it feels a bit like being in high school again. But it also slows me down a bit, which is good. I hope you all are getting to spend at least a little time with family this season. Hugs and hot chocolate to all! *passes out steaming mugs*

Merry Christmas everyone! This year we spent Christmas in San Francisco. We were originally planning to drive to Oregon and spend Christmas with my family there, but my mom wanted to spent it at our house instead. Our room mate bought a really nice artificial Christmas tree in early December, and we decorated it and it's really pretty. On December 21, my mom drove here and also brought Bella (her dog) and my nephew. It was pretty nice to spend the holidays here for the first time, we plan to do some fun things while they visiting here in San Francisco too. They will be here at least until New Year's Day. :D

I hope you all had a nice christmas night.
I heard most places which was meant to be covered by snow this time of year, didn´t get it :( , well, you could had a taste of how our christmas night as we have it here in south américa: hot and sometimes rainy.

Yes, both Christmas Eve and Christmas day were hot here at about 38 degrees (100F). Today was a very nice 23 and we drove up to see my Nanna and spend time with my sister's family. Was a great though tiring day as it's 2 and 1/2 hours each way.

We had a wonderful gift on Christmas Eve though as my new niece was born. So we got to visit her in hospital on Christmas Day. So that was nice :)

The weather in Belgium is WEIRD!
It's like, 15°C, no snow, it's not really cold either.
I don't think in all my life, I have seen this much sun around Christmas, it's so weird.

I realize I didn't write here ><. Merry-5-days-late Christmas! :p

Christmas for me was pretty nice and quiet. We got some family coming, had Christmas dinner, and did our traditional gift exchange game where you can get either random cool little gifts or joke silly ones (my uncle got a pair of yellow undies xD).

My dad went ahead and gifted me a small drone. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I'll come up with something, hehe. My brother almost lost it when he flew it so high that the wind carried it far away D: It got quite worried, but we found it a couple of streets from my house, it kinda crashed but luckily it still works fine. It was hillarious
I also got some money, so I treated myself with an Intuos Creative Stylus 2 (http://shop.wacom.eu/uploads/Cintiq_Info_Channel/CS600P_Stylus_wCase_RGB_-_Copy.jpg) for my iPad. I plan to make good use of it for all the drawings to come in 2016 :D

And that was it from me. I wish everyone a Happy New Year to come! :)

Merry Christmas to everyone! :) We went to my mum's yesterday (Christmas Day) and ate too much food of course. Pretty uneventful otherwise. Might head out to see Moana tomorrow.

Merry Christmas! :rafikilove: Hope you've all had a wonderful time!

My Christmas celebration has been more or less identical to last year's - down to seeing the new Star Wars movie at the theatre, haha  But it's always a good time and I got some truly wonderful gifts this year. Receiving the "Hamilton: The Revolution" book alone made my Christmas :idiot: Still Hamiltrash, yo. And in a week I get to pick up my gift from myself/my parents - my kittens! <3

You're getting kittens!!! That is super exciting :D You must post pics when you get them :)

Yay kitties! :D That's awesome Kanu, and yes, post pics when you receive them ;)

My Christmas went on nicely, with cousins coming over and doing gift giving games. You basically buy one cool gift and one joke gift, and put them in the table's centre. Then you play a dice game for a chance to win a few gifts, but there's no way of telling if the gift is cool or not, so you're kinda gambling for it (joke gifts can be as bad as anti-flea soaps, or embarassing underwear xP). It's so silly, but hey it's fun :p

I also decided to treat myself with Christmas money I saved and get a new phone. I finally made the big leap from iPhone to Android, and I'm so enjoying all the freedom it comes with

That game sounds very funny, Leor xD What did you get then? :p

And yess, I'm getting kittens now. There are many reasons why it's happening now, but it's mostly because I finally live in a large enough flat to keep pets, so I decided to go for it, hehe. Pictures will follow, have no fear :haha:

A skin cream with a label that says "Ugliness remover" :p maybe I needed that xD but at least I also got a box of chocolates, which was nice. Someone got a book that was all cut on the inside like a box, which contained a pair of bright yellow underwear, I'm glad didn't get that  There were a couple of Pokemon plushies in the game too, I wish I had won one ><

Haha, it sounds like people at least get pretty creative with the gifts!

Me and my high school friends did a similar game last year, except we were meant to only give "nice" gifts. We're a group of girls, but unexpectedly two boyfriends wanted to join in too and they ended up fighting over a really cool-looking present that unbeknownst to them contained a nail art set :p Now, of course guys can do their nails if they want! But we know that these two don't generally like it that much, so it was pretty funny to see the looks on their faces as one of them unwrapped it and they realised what they had been fighting over for the entire game xD

My family came to San Francisco again this year to spend Christmas with us, it was really nice!

I drew this doodle on a big white board we have in the dinning room area, a few days before Christmas. I think I might draw new Lion Guard themed pictures there for other future holidays too...

Happy holidays!
Even though they are over now.

Mine were... Different. Spent 2 weeks in the UK
I'm a creature of habit.
So we skyped with my home on Christmas Eve, which made me feel better about it.
Opening pressies in front of the webcam, lol.

What surprised me most was at new years eve, the Auld Lang Syne thing.
We know this from watching Mr Bean, and we'd find it funny.
I didn't realize its still quite the tradition over here, seeing an entire room do it.

In 33 years I had only been somewhere else for Christmas eve once, and never not been in Belgium for new years.
So yeah, different.

Hope y'all got some nice gifts :p
