I may find this lists aren't my cup of tea as I don't know 5, 8, and 24.

But for me this look spot on as it does change the scene or life of a gamer. I would love to give special mention to: Blizzard games (Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft.) GTA series, Newer games like Super Mario 3D World, and Fallout 3, and New Vegas. which changed my life as a gamers and switch from casual to really hardcore.

I was not much of a video game player, but I think in the list "The Lion King" is missing. Played it a lot as a kid. Otherwise I'm more a strategy game player, like "Age of Empires", "Anno 1x0x", "Siedler", or the open source variant "0 a.d." In the link they only listed video games, not PC games, so I think thats the reason why there is no Starcraft, Warcraft etc. The Battlefield series is also very good, but I don't think they ported the first two releases to game stations?

True, all of your post have a good valid point, I mean majority of it are on Console obviously where the global market is. Don't worry, I'll make a different post below to list out best PC game or even Console exclusive like Nintendo or Playstation or Xbox games. Not even Skyrim is on the top 25 to be honest. There's a lot of good game in current generation that haven't been shattered by extremely bad reviews (Excluding Sonic Boom obviously). I mean a lot of current gen games getting slam and critique thanks to the first day bug or even first day DLC where we all nearly spent like 80 to 90 Dollars for a game, opposed to old days where we could get expansion and completion (and unlock certain element). I'm still sad about that practice.

I'll compile a good Console or PC exclusive list in here in this coming days.

Yeah I was about to say, that list is missing quite a few iconic games like Fallout 2 which been rated in multiple lists as The best game of all time or very high up there. Though did Portal or Half life 2 come out on anything but PC at least at first? Also that list is very heavy on Nintendo stuff.
I must say I strongly disagree with this list though I do recognize every title on it. Seems like a personal favorite list really. Some good games there though.

True, I'll post a reply from another official source like IGN or Gamespot or anything related.

Edit

I can't find a reliable source on Top 25 games of all time that showcased all of the generations. So IGN is down for me. I need to do a lot of research this week.

This seems up my street. So I'm not a hardcore gamer and I don't have a lot of time for gaming (anymore) but when I do my top games are post 2010:
1. Fallout 4
2. Portal 2 (potato)
3. Skyim
4. GTA V
5. Assassins Creed (no I can't choice which one is better)
6. God of War 3
7. Of course any Lego game...
8. Fallout 3
9. Bioshock 1,2 and 3
10. Lately a game called Unravel where you play as a little ball of cute red wool.

Ok so old school games well technically not that old school, but my childhood:
1. Zelda OOT
2. Spyro the Dragon
3. Crash bandicoot
4. Kingdom Hearts
5. Pokemon - still played to this day...
6. Super smash brothers (both melee and brawl)
7. Zelda wind waker (Tingle....)
8. Qbert
9. Star fox
10. Zelda Twilight princess (GameCube version)

Yep that'll do... That'll do.
