"Well Zira had a brother and a sister, as i was told, My Mother was her Sister.. And well that usually makes a person related to him or her, I think i'm her Nephew. I don't really know.. All i remember is my mother saying.."Kovujin meet your Auntie Zira".. So thats basically all I know about Zira.." Kovujin said to Subira "This was about 3 days before i was abandoned.."

[Mizani]

"Your Mother abandoned you?!?!" Subira gasped, quite apauled at the fact.

[Kovu The Lion]

"Yes, my Mother and Father.. Didnt I tell you back in the Den when you saved me?"

[Mizani]

Subira thought back.

"Yea sorry, kinda forgot about that" She smirked.

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin's head fell to the ground at the thought of his Mother and Father and there whereabouts.."Well, I just hope i wont be left again and have to lose another thing i love." Kovujin said sadly

[Mizani]

"We won't leave you" Subira smiled, rubbing her cheek against his.

"I've come to know all my friends a one big family"

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin felt like there was some hope in this situation, and for once he felt like he might actually stay. and Subira did say Simba was a nice lion..Maybe he would give him a chance.

"Thanks, you made me feel a lot better" Kovujin said rubbing his cheek back on Subiras.
"Maybe i'll get to stay"

[Mizani]

"Knowing King Simba he will let you stay. He's a very good judge of character"

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin started to think more about this King Simba, Maybe hes a nice guy. but being a king he must be powerful. "He's that nice?" Kovujin asked curiously

[Mizani]

"Yea. Why wouldn't he be?" Subira asked, lying down next to Kovujin.

[Kovu The Lion]

"Well, from stories i've heard about this Pride. It seemed that the Past Kings were very powerfull, so i thought being powerful...He might not care about people." Kovujin said to Subira

[Mizani]

"Well he wouldn't have power if he didn't have lioness's. And if he didn't have lioness's he would''ve have been very nice to them. But King Simba has a large Pride like his father before him"

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin chucked "yeah i've noticed, this place is so huge, and so many friendly animals that live here. this place is amazing" Kovujin just realized something his mother told him..What if this place was the place his Mother told him about that might be as good as Heaven...theres food everywhere, Lions stroll along anywhere you look, and its so beautiful.
this must be the place his Mother told him about so long ago.

[Mizani]

"Something wrong?" Subira yawned, as Kovujin seemed deep in thought.

[Kovu The Lion]

"No nothing i was just thinking of something my mother told me a while back, Nothing important." Kovujin said as he laid his head on the ground

[Mizani]

"Oh, okay" Subira decided not to ask anything else about his mother. He seemed touchy on the subject just like her.

Kovujin laid there and wondered all about what he learned at his stay here, His pride being the Jeshi Pride, and the Damu wars.. Maybe Subira knows of a lion that passed by with the same mark on his paw. he brought up the subject "Subira, you know how you told me about this mark on my paw.. Where did you learn about this?"

Kovujin was excited by the voice of Asha,"Hey! hehe i know. I've tried walking today, Sorry for doing so without your permission.. ....And i tried running it pained me. sorry for that too" Kovujin said to Asha

"Yes ma'am I'll just walk for now, I'm waiting now for King Simba to pass his judgement on me to see if I can stay here or have to leave... I'm really nervous" Kovujin said sitting down on the ground

Kovujin walked into the Den on Pride Rock, he thought Simba might come back here seeing this is where most of the Lioness stay. Kovujin tried to remember more about his past, now all he knew about it was his pride and Family being in a war, What if his parents were killed in the war... Kovujin said to Subira "Subira, have you seen any other lion That has the same Mark on my paw?" Kovujin thought she would know seeing she knew where the Mark came from.

[Mizani]

"I told you before, I only know about it from the story" Subira yawned, as she was feeling a bit tired since it was noon and the sun was high in the sky.

"oh yeah thats right...I'm sorry i forgot, I'm hehe pretty forgetful. You seem tired, maybe you should take a nap?"

[Mizani]

"Na, I'll stay awake after you've seen King Simba" Subira smiled.

"Asha, Have you seen King Simba around lately?" Kovujin said to Asha hoping she would know where he is.

"Don't you know a joke when you hear one?" Subira laughed.

Kovujin laughed a little at what he heard "Oh hehe I guess i don't"
Kovujin then thought well maybe hes not all that powerful then.

"And I thought you were smart" Subira teased.

"Hey! I am smart, in hunting wise ...I guess hehe, I just took it that not knowing the guy and all i would trust everything you said" Kovujin laughed.

"Never trust a lioness" Subira smirked, rolling on her back.

"And why wouldnt I trust you" Kovujin said pouncing on her pinning her to the ground playfully

[Mizani]

Subira just grinned and rolled over again so she was pinning Kovujin.

"Well you don''t know me that well do you?" She smirked.

"I could turn on you right now if I wanted to"

"Well its been a while, I don't think King Simba is going to come here"

"Yea, he's probably busy. I heard Hyena's were in the Pridelands anyway"

Kovujin Rose his head quickly "HYENAS!?"
Kovujin hated nothing more than the sound of hyenas, most dispicable of creatures.
Rembering what they did to him he looks at his scars and wounds, they will pay one day.

Scout ran up to Kovujin and Subira really fast almost plowing into Kovujin he looked so scared that he had to mime everything.

"Calm down. Its not like there gonna be coming here. Besides they only come in groups of three or four"

Kovujin looked at the worried Little Cub, "whoa whoa Scout whats going on? why were you running so fast?"

Subira looked at Scout.

"Whats wrong Kid?"

Kovujin asked the same thing "Is everything alright?"

Scout finally catches his breath. "Ballard ran off I didn't knw where she was and then I found her in the outlands when I was trying to bring her back here. I ran off when I saw a group of Hyenas coming toward her we're gonna have to move fast" Scout said worriedly.

Subira raced down Priderocks steps, knowing that Ballard would not be safe with Hyena's runnign around.

Kovujin started to run at a slow pace, the pain moving through his body was so great. But he wasnt about to lose a friend he had just met. He did his best to forget about the pain and started running at full speed to the Outlands, "Ah dang this is killing me, I'm not gonna let them hyenas put one paw on Ballard!" Kovujin shouted

[Mizani]

Subira lifted her head, trying to find Ballards scent.

The hairs on her neck bristles.

She'd found Ballards scent alright.

But she also smelt Hyena.

[Simba22]

Scout ran up in front leading the way just in the nick of time they see 4 or 5 Hyenas all walking closer to Ballard. Scout wasn't gonna let another friend of his die because of them and if that meant he had to fight them back then so be it.

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin saw Ballard and five hyenas circleing around Ballard, his eyes turned red with rage, the Adrenaline ran through him like a Rhino on a rampage. Kovujin leaped out and slashed at one of the Hyenas. Bringing him to the ground.

Kovujin let out a yelp when one of his wounds broke open again and started pouring with blood.

[Mizani]

A Hyena saw Subira.

How he hated lions.

Its was time to get revenge.

Subira didn't have time to react, but a Hyena attacked her and she fell to the ground unconcious.

((ooc: ooh cliffie, but I gotta go to bed, so see ya tomorrow guys:D And no shes not gonna die))

Scout wasn't just gonna stand around and watch this with no further hesitation he lunged for the neck of one of the hyenas. The hyena just swatted him away and Scout hit another rock almost exactly like the time with Karifu.

Kovujin looked back and saw Subira hit the ground,

"NO!" Kovujin yelled
he ran across towards the Hyena that had attacked Subira and pounced on him, biting his neck and killing him instantly. Doing so broke another wound open on his Right Front leg

Kovujin couldnt control himself anymore, being a born killer, he was looking at Scout and ran to him to see if he was okay but while he was watching him two Hyenas jumped on him and bit him the other, slashed at his right hind leg. In excrusiating pain he roared and Slashed at the Hyenas eye and accidentally hit his Nose, The Hyena gave out a yelp and ran away. The other hyena must have ran away with it cause Kovujin couldnt find him. he then turned to Scout "are you okay Scout?"

[Simba22]

"Huh what happened"? Scout muttered rubbing his head. He looks over at Subira who was knocked out. "Better help her back to Pride Rock" Scout said. He shot an evil glare at Ballard because of her all 3 of them got hurt.

[Kovu The Lion]

"Well you lashed out for a hyena but, he hit you back and you hit a rock."

"Ballard! i almost forgot!" Running over to ballard he said "Did they hurt you?"
Kovujin seemed to have calmed down a little bit when he heard that Scout was okay.

[Kago]

"Scout! Ballard! Where are you guys?" Kago called as he looked around to find the cubs. It was getting dark, he had to find them soon otherwise they could be in trouble.

Kovujin looks at Scout then Subira, "oh boy this will be hard carrying both of you hehe" Kovujin grabs the scruff of Subira's neck and pulls her over his back and after making sure she was secure there, he grabs Scout by the scruff of his neck and tries to get to Pride Rock with the both of them "ugh, I hope you can walk Ballard"
Kovujin felt bad for getting blood all over Subira's fur. But he wasnt just going to leave her there

"I can walk fine" Ballard said. She felt real bad. If it wasn't for her being stupid and running off none of the 3 of them would have had to come to her rescue and if they didn't come to her rescue none of them would have gotten hurt.

Kovujin looked at Ballard, she seemed really depressed. "Cheer up there Ballard everythings going to be okay. I promise"
Kovujin made it to the stones of pride rock, he couldnt go any farther. he finally said to Ballard, "Ballard, go get some help, I don't think i can make it up these stones."

Ballard goes to get her parents to help. She ran as fast as she could to get Her dad and mom.

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin put Scout on the ground slowly, and lowered his back to the ground and put down Subira. Kovujin looked at her worried.. "I hope shes going to be alright.."
Kovujin then looked at his wounds. "Uh man Asha's not going to be to happy about this"..

[Kago]

"Ballard, what's wrong?" Kago asked as he saw Ballard running in the distance towards him, she was clearly terrified.

[Simba22]

"It's Kovujin. I was in the outlands alone because I had run off and He Subira and Scout came to rescue me they all got hurt because they were trying to save me from Hyenas." Ballard says worriedly.

[Kago]

"What, the outlands? I'll have to talk to you later." Kago said as his eyes turned ted. "In the mean time, let's go!" Kago began to run towards the outlands calling Scout's name.

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin catches a glimpse of what seems to be a lion running towards the outlands, "Hey! over here!" Kovujin yelled so the lion could hear him.
"Can you help us!?"

[Kago]

Kago ran closer to Kovujin. "Is my son, Scout here? I'm..not good." Kago said as he saw the hyenas. Then there were a bunch of loud pops and the hyenas fell over, dead. Kago looked to his left and saw a human with it's metal thing again.

[Kovu The Lion]

"yes hes here, he's okay.. But Subira. I don't know if she's going to be okay, She hasnt moved in a while. But she's still breathing." Kovujin said in a weak voice.

[Kago]

"Oh no, we need more lions, Ballard get more help." Kago said as he ran to Subira and tried to help her the best he could. "Scout, after this I need to speak to you and Ballard."

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin replied weakly, "I brought them out of the Outlands.. It seemed that the Hyenas wouldnt follow us into the Pride Lands."
Kovujin thought if this day could get any worse.

[Kago]

"Well, the human took care of them." Kago said as he tried to help Subira, he can't lose her or he's in deep.

Their dad takes Scout and Ballard home after helping Kovujin get home. The next day..... Ballard is real worried what's gonna happen to her.

Kovujin walked up the stones of Pride Rock, he sat down at the top licking his wounds. hoping they wouldnt show to much, "gah darn things.."
Kovujin had hoped he wouldnt have had to stress and rip open his wounds, Asha would be really mad at him now.

Kovujin then headed to the Waterhole with no interuptions

Scout walked in sad he was about to say something but Ballard stopped him. "Please dad don't be mad at Scout It was me who wandered off. Scout told me not to wander off but I wandered off anyway. Scout told me that it would be dangerous but I didn't listen to him. ALl Scout did was try to protect me from those Hyenas. If it weren't for him I would have been hurt cause he's the one who ran off to get help. So, if you're gonna be mad at anyone. Please just be mad at me"Ballard said.

[Kago]

"I'm just upset, you should know better Ballard." Kago said as he sighed. "we could have lost you." Kago remembered when Karifu nearly died.

"I'm dissapointed, but not mad. It's ok Ballard." Kago said as he patted the cub on her head. It was now midday and Kago was letting Karifu sleep in.

Kovujin stepped into the Water Hole and began cleaning himself, He had gotten so dirty during the fight with the Hyenas...About a few minutes later he decided he looked a little better, He padded back to Pride Rock hoping to find Subira.

Ballard sat outside looking at the sky obviously punishing herself for what she did. " You gooa be ok Ballard"? "You could have died Scout and it was my fault." She cried. Scout puts a consoling paw on Ballard. " It's okay Ballard no one got into any real trouble"Scout said. "This is just a reminder never to walk to the Outlands alone again" Scout said. "I'm so glad you're still alive Ballard. I'd be a mess without ya" Scout said nuzzling her cheek.

Kovujin over heard Scout's and Ballards conversation. "Ballard, Scout is absolutely correct, from now on... Please tell someone where you're going before you leave. When Scout told me you were in trouble, My heart almost stoped, The thought of loseing another friend, Loseing someone i had just met, Someone..As young as you, Scared me. I'm just glad I got there in time. No one is really mad at you Ballard, Its a Cub's nature to go adventuring and explore new areas. If I could remember anything about my past... I'm sure I did what you did once. To tell you the truth i'm sure 'Everyone' has wondered off into some place they arent allowed." Kovujin said trying to cheer up Ballard, "It's gonna be okay, My wounds will heal up...eventually, and Subira..." Kovujin thought about Subira.."Oh no Subira..." Kovujin stopped talking to Ballard and turned to Kago, "Where is Subira? Is she going to be okay?" Kovujin was scared, he hoped she would be okay.

Karifu soon awoke and was sleeping beside Kiki ,Kiki awoke too

They walk toward the water hole

"Good morning Karifu." Kago said as he saw Karifu waking up. "how are you this morning?"

"hi kago,im fine,just taking kiki to get a drink"

"Ok, I'll be here when you get back." Kago said as he kissed her. The sun was high in the sky and not a cloud lingered.

Kovujin walked up to Kago and said "So whos that? that lioness?"
he wondered about everyone being new here.

Karifu took Kiki to get a drink ,kiki had a little swim,karifu thought it was time to get back,she urged kiki to go home

[Kago]

"Let kiki stay out here, mom is watching the cubs." Kago said as he pointed to Riona who was with the cubs. "We can spend quality time together." Kago winked at Karifu.

"yeah ok,Kiki can you play outside"
"yay mommy yeah i will"

[Kago]

Kago walked back into the den with Karifu following him. He hoped none of the cubs, especially Scout walked in.

Kovujin saw the couple coming into the den, He decided it would be best to leave, He stretched and yawned, "Well i'll leave you two alone, if you need me.. I'll be outside somewhere.."

Sengalo kept sulking through the now lit savannah, a dark reddish brown blotch in the sea of gold. He had his head down as his shoulders simultaneously(sp?) went up and down. Eventually, he began to pace, thinking over what that cub thought he was talking about. "He doesn't know me," he growled to himself, "none of them do. They think they can just look at me and think they have my whole life figured out. They don't have the slightest clue." Sengalo's claws scratched the ground as he paced back and forth. "Heck, I dont---" Then, he just stopped, realizing something. He looked up to the blue sky, his expression upset and wanting answers. "I...don't even know myself..."

Kovujin looked around the Pride Lands trying to find Scout and Ballard, so far he found nothing. He looked at the Water Hole, The Plain Lands and a few other places. He just couldnt find them. "Hmm i wonder where those two ran off to.. I hope they didnt go back to the Outlands hehe" Kovujan said while laughing.

He thought maybe she wouldnt go about telling anyone "Well, I was attacked by 4 hyenas in my sleep at the" He whispers in her ear* "elephant graveyard, Then when i was attacked i started to run and find help but they had already bitten and scratched chuncks of my flesh out of me. I made it to this place after a long struggle and found myself under an old Dead Oak Tree.. I stayed there bleeding for hours. not knowing what to do so i fell asleep and these lions Scout, Ballard, and Subira found me and brung me here" Kovujin sad sadly, "I wish i wasnt sleeping then."

Nela arrived at the waterhole, suprised to see a black female lion there too. She was very thin, and carried a black ball of fur in her mouth that looked like a small cub. Nela stepped out of the tall grass. The lioness was startled, threw the cub into the water and ran. Nela was very astonished as to why the lioness had acted this way, and seemed like she WANTED to get rid of that cub. Nela dashed into the water and picked up the cub, then carefully swam out and rest it on the bank. She looked over the tall grass and shouted, "Wait! Come back!" The lioness was gone, leaving nela with the small black cub.

Nela nuzzled the tiny black cub and flipped it on it's side. It's breathing was labored, probably from shock. The cub wore an oversized crescent necklace, and was all black with a white underbelly. Nela wasn't exactly sure what she should do... she didn't have much experience with small cubs, and she didn't have any of her own. Nela licked the small cub, and a tiny pawmoved across it's belly. "She's so cute..." Nela thought. "Who wouldn't want her?" Figuring the mother wouldn't come back, Nela picked up the cub by it's little scruff and started her walk home.

Nela heard someone familiar voices in the distance. At least, she hoped they were familiar....

Kovujin looked ahead and swore he saw a Lioness and a baby cub. he could tell the baby cub was in very bad shape... Hey you two you go on to the Waterhole...I have..To take care of something." Kovujin said looking away from Kiki and Karifu.

The argument from earlier and the stress that Sengalo felt left his throat dry and parched. He made his way for the water hole, his head low and staring at the ground as he walked. His brow was furrowed in deep thought. He made it to his destination and bowed down to the cool surface. He lapped up refreshing slurps of the water and sat and drank for a few minutes. When he had finished he took in what was around him. Suddenly, he noticed Nela in the distance with something. It looked small, like a little black ball of fur. Sengalo strained his eyes to see that it was a small cub. From where Sengalo was, Nela didn't seem like the kind to be a mother, she looked too young.

Kovujin walked up to the Newly found Lioness holding the baby cub.."What happened to her?" Kovujin said in an affectionate voice to the Lioness, Hoping he could help her.

Nela looked up, the cub still in her mouth. She saw a male lion walking towards her, but couldn't make out who it was....

Kovujin Looked at the baby Cub, it was black, with a white stomach. he saw that it had three scars on its stomach, and it was wearing some kind of...Necklace with a crescent moon on it.

Sengalo's ears twitched as he heard more voices and saw more lions approach Nela and the cub. Not wanting to get into much of a confrontation like earlier, he sat in his spot and looked on.

"It was so strange," Nela said talking to the unknown lion. He seemed friendly, and was very handsome. She talked on, unthreatened. " A lioness threw her into the water and ran away. She seemed like she wanted her to die...." Nela continued.

Kovujin was shocked by what he heard, "why would anyone want to get rid of there cub..?" Kovujin replied to Beautiful young Lioness. "i thought you were way to young to have a Baby Cub anyways" Kovujin chuckled trying to cheer her up.

Kovujin looked at the baby cub, He looks..So much like me..except for my Tail, muzzle and paw fur..

[Nela]

Putting the cub down on a large, flat rock, Nela licked it's tummy and nuzzled her. "If that lion ever comes back asking for her cub, I won't give her up. She looks to be abused..."

"yes your right, Do you need any help taking care of her? I'd be glad to help you." Kovujin said in a quiet voice as to not wake the Cub.

[Nela]

"Ha..." Nela smiled. " I'm just.... a little undersized, I guess. I'm more of an adult, really," She smiled. She was born small, and was really an older adolescent, but most thought she was younger than that.

"Are you from the pridelands? What's your name? I'd really love your help. I don't have any cubs my self, or a mate to help me..."

Kovujin looked down. "No.. I'm not i'm from....The Outlands...But i'm not like them!" kovujin said. "and..My names Kovujin, he laughed a little..
Kovujin remembered what his mother told him, about finding a lady who was in distress, and settling down and caring for a cub that they both never knew. Maybe his Mother meant this lioness.

"I'd be glad to help you raise her, all the way". Kovujin said affectionatly.

[Nela]

Nela smiled at Kovujin.
" I wouldn't worry about that," she said quietly. "I believe you, Kovujin. I'm Nela." She was interruppted by a small mew from the little cub.

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin smiled at Nela's words, He too heard the Baby Cub's mew. "Is she awake?" kovujin looked down at her.

"Thanks, I could use it..." Nela blushed. She didn't mean to, but she did. Kovujin was very nice, and seemed affectionate and loving.

[Katse]

Another Outlander, eh, Sengalo thought as he lifted his head slightly, to hear and see better. I don't remember seeing him around. Sengalo was curious as to how the King would except an Outlander in his pride, what with them being forbidden to even be here. Sengalo chuckled at the thought. Forbidden... Everything seems to be forbidden these days...

[Nela]

Nela nuzzled the cub again. "No... she's still sleeping. She's so small...and adorable...."

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovujin saw Nela blush, he too blushed and asked "Wh-Whats Wrong hehe".

Kovujin looked down at the cub and nuzzled her face, "yes, shes very adorable.."

[Nela]

Nela couldn't help but turn red. "Uh... nothing..." she laughed a bit, trying to keep her focus on the cub. She too, however, saw Kovujin blush. "What's wrong with you?" she said, flirting.

"Me uh well..Hehe nothing its just the way you act to the Cub, So much.. Love, It made me feel as if...well. Never mind hehe" Kovujin giggled as he watched Nela's face turn red.

"Oh come on.... what? You too are very loving towards her.... I named her Kara... you could give her a second name if you want...you'd make a good fath--" Nela looked down again. Would this be a lasting relationship.... Is it even a relationship? Or did he just offer to take care of the cub.... no, he meant it the other way. She knew what he was thinking. "Father..." she replied quietly.

Kovujin stared at Nela, Was she just trying to say what he thought he said. "I think Kara's a very cute name, it fits her good.. What were you about to say?" Kovujin said curiously, His face turned really red,

Sengalo couldn't help but chuckle a bit to himself and shake his head slightly. How he remembered when he was foolish enough for something like love. This may seem odd for a lion at Sengalo's age, but as you may already guess, he doesn't put enough trust into anyone anymore.

Nela thought: " Would this be a lasting relationship.... Is it even a relationship? Or did he just offer to take care of the cub.... no, he meant it the other way." She knew what he was thinking. "Father..." she replied quietly, as not to disturb the cub.

Kovujin Put on an affectionate face, "I thought so.. I'd love to be this cubs father, If you'd be its mother..?" Kovujin said while moving next to Nela.

Nela smiled. "Of course..." Nela responded, her violet eyes sparkling. Nela nuzzled the cub once more, then looked up at Kovujin. She nuzzled him affectionatley. "Our little Kara..."

Kovujin had never felt this way to another Lioness, "Maybe, we should get her home.." Kovujin said while Nuzzling Nela back.
"yes, our little Kara" Kovujin said while nuzzling the side of Kara's face gently.

Nela thought for a minute. Home.... where it that... she thought of her place near the jungle, that no one knew of but her. "Okay... I have a place....it's a secret. I'm the only one who knows of it....How about there? It's a beautiful place...."

Kovujin thought longly.... He felt really bad about what he was about to say..." Nela.." he let out a huge sigh, "I live here. In the Pride Lands..They rescued me from an attack and well... I promised them i'd stay here, With Them.." Kovujin said very sadly, and disappointed, "I thought you lived here...Not..Somewhere else.." Kovujin kept thinking, he really loved Nela, but he did make a promise... He didnt know what to do now.

Kovujin thought about Scout and Ballard, and Kiki and her Mother, he couldnt just abandon them... But, He really wanted to be with Nela, Maybe they would forget about him....Or not. Scout had thought he made a new friend, and we shared so much in common. He promised Scout...What to do, Kovujin kept thinking.

" That's perfectly okay.... I live here too. I'll take you there one day. Before I joined the pride, that's where I lived. It's wonderful.... lead the way," She smiled. She was very happy. She met the lion of her dreams and they had a cub. Nela's mother had adopted Nela and met her father on the same day, too. Strange how things work, Nela thought.

Nala awoke from her long sleep, streched and yawned and looked into the distant with a smile, cleaning her paws and looking for Simba

Kovujin's face changed from sad to really happy in an instant, "If..You don't mind we can go to your place and stay for a few days..? I'm sure they wouldnt mind.." Kovujin Chuckled

Nela picked up the cub and started walking. She nuzzled Kovujin's soft fur, and couldn't help but smile.

Sengalo watched from his post as the newfound couple made off for their home. His expression became slightly drawn and upset. Looks like someone else found their place he thought while I'm still lost. Sengalo knew there was something that he must do, it was a task that lingered in the back of his mind for ages. It had something to do with the Pridelanders, but what could it possibly be? Sengalo sat thinking for a moment, then made his decision. He stood to his feet, shaking the grass from his adolescent mane and began walking towards Pride Rock, many yards behind Kovujin, Nela, and their cub.

Meanwhile Scout had heard the whole conversation between Nela and Kovujin. Scout couldn't believe what he was hearing. Someone who he thought was his friend had just turned his back on him and for what? A woman? Scout couldn't believe it. Scout silently ran off sadly. He didn't want to go home he just wanted to be left alone.

Kovujin looked back, He swore he heard the rustle of grass and just in the nick of time he saw Scout running off. "Oh no, I hope he didnt hear me talking to Nela.." kovujin said sadly

Scout refused to respond. He wasn't gonna respond to someone he looked up to like an older brother just to have him turn his back on you just because of a woman. Scout thought maybe he was just being selfish but Scout shook that idea from his head. It wasn't his fault.

Scout felt bad for himself. How could he even think this guy was a traitor to him? How could Scout even think that he would dream something like that? Why, he was no better then Sengalo. Scout comes out of the bushes and smiles at Kovujin. "Sorry for being so selfish Kovujin. I should have known you were better then that, You should go now you have a lioness waiting for you" Scout said with a wink.

"Listen Scout, I had to do something, She had a baby cub, and...She couldnt take care of it on her own... You would do the same as me. Plus...Shes just...so beautiful. Scout didn't really think so. But maybe that was just because he was still a kid. He didn't want to think about getting married or having kids at least not now. But he was very excited that he meant so much to Kovujin because Kovujin meant so much to him. Since he had the day to hang out with him He wondered what they should do. "So UHHHHHHH Kovujin since your new mate allowed me to hang out with you today what would you like to do? Scout asks cheerfully. Feeling better about Kovujin and his mate. Who knows since Kovujin was mates with this Lioness Maybe this could mean Scout could befriend her cub and make a new friend.

Kovujin got in his battle stance but when he did his mucles started to feel sore and made him stiff, "argh dang my Mucles."

Sengalo almost jumped as the cub with Karifu squeled at his presence. He raised his eyebrows at their reaction. "Woah, hey," he said, trying to calm them down, "listen, I don't mean any harm."

Scout turns to Kovujin. "He killed some lionness and some cub. I was walking by and I heard Sogalo and this other lion muttering to each other. So I get real low to the ground and then I hear a scream and before I know it I saw him with these 2 dead lions. Broke both their necks"Scout said.

Kovujin Growled at The new lion, his name must be Sengalo. "Murderer!, Get out of our Pride Lands, NOW!" Kovujin felt bad about saying our, He wasnt even sure he was allowed to be in the Pride Lands, King Simba hadn't made Judgement on him.. But he was determinded to get this Lion away from what he loved and knew "I will not let you any closer to anyone, If you want to fight, then so be it!" Kovujin got into his Battle Stance. and waited for sengalo to reply to him.

Sengalo flinched when he was yelled at. Though his anger was boiling inside of him, he showed fear. "Please..." he said, "...I'm sorry..."

Kovujin got out of his stance.. He looked at Scout.. "What now... He said he was sorry, Should we let the King put a judgement on him"...Kovujin didn't know what to say. He just wanted to protect Scout and his loved ones.

Scout eyed Sengalo suspisiously. He never heard Sengalo ever say I'm sorry and he didn't know if he really meant it. Scout smiles."I think we all should let him stay if he could tell us why he did kill those two lions" He didn't believe the whole I wasn't thinking line.

Kovujin roared, Trying to bring out the bad side of Sengalo, If he was telling the truth he would'nt get mad, All Kovujin had to do was test his patience.. "WHY DID YOU KILL THEM??" Kovujin yelled at Sengalo.

Kovujin definitlly didnt want a murderer in the Pride Lands now that he had a family to raise, Sengalo was really testing his patience. Kovujin hoped that Sengalo would be like him, and not Betray the Pride if he's allowed to stay...But how could he trust anyone thats a Murderer, theres one thing for sure , He'll never let him see his mate and Cub thats for sure, If he came even 4 feet away from them, He'd Hurt him badly
