"Hmm...what like?" Jaini smirks and raises an eyebrow.

"I'm confused...is dad masculine or feminine?" Jaini asks.

"You said that feminine lions had some of the exact personalities though..."

[King Simba]

"Ah, the wonders of being a cub." Jaini rolls his eyes and frowns.

[King Simba]

"So is it boring as an adult...?" Jaini asks curiously.
"Not really...just nevermind about that now." Katai laughs and then turns to Asha, "Do you think it's time to see how the weather is outside?"

[King Simba]

"Now we know what it's like..." Katai sighs, "It seems never-ending..."
Jaini sighs too, "Stupid storm." he then looks up to Murutu, "Who are you?"

[King Simba]

"Hehe...I'm not very old either. It's nice to meet ya!" Jaini grins up to Murutu.

[King Simba]

"Hehe...I like meeting new animals." Jaini grins upto Murutu.

[King Simba]

"The name's Jaini." Jaini smiles happily, "Those are my brothers and sister over there...they can't speak yet though."

[King Simba]

"Yeah...I'm the youngest too believe it or not...and I aint shy." Jaini smiles keeping his eye contact on Murutu.

[King Simba]

"You too mate." Jaini laughs and grins up to Murutu.

[King Simba]

"That would be me..." Katai smirks to Murutu, "He never keeps quiet." he laughs, "he can never shut up once he starts talking."

[King Simba]

"Jaini as a lot of milk, in fact he's just had some not long ago." Katai grins to Murutu.
Jaini starts to play with Murutu's tail.

Jaini attempts to try and catch his tail. He laughs playfully.

[King Simba]

"Hehe...I am. I love playing with tails!" Jaini laughs playfully pawing at Murutu's tail once again.

[King Simba]

"Hehe...I love to play with my dad's whiskers a lot too." Jaini laughs a little.

[King Simba]

"I do hurt him..." Jaini sighs but he whispers in Murutu's eat, "I don't mean to though..."

[King Simba]

"I guess not." Jaini grins and continues to play with Murutu's tail.

"Ok...shall I ask now?" Jaini asks Murutu.

[King Simba]

"Sure..." Jaini walks over to his parents, "Um...dad, can I play with your tail?"

Katai smirks, "Sure, it's a lot better than you playing with my whiskers."

[King Simba]

"Hehe, hurt him you mean?" Jaini grins.

[King Simba]

"No, I mean when you pounce on my dad's tail...it will hurt him, right?"

[King Simba]

"Ah right, that's what I meant. Hehe..." Jaini giggles a little.

[King Simba]

"Yeah, I love to pounce." Jaini grins happily.

[King Simba]

"Loads of cubs are playful...I'm glad I'm not lazy." Jaini laughs.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...they're always sleeping." Jaini giggles a little before yawning.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...I guess I should." he yawns again tiredly, "See ya mate." he smiles.

[King Simba]

Jaini walks slowly over to where his sibling were sleeping before yawning once more.

[King Simba]

Jaini yawns, "I sure am tired." he snuggles up to his parents.

[King Simba]

"I guess I'll get my head down for a while." Katai yawns tiredly.

[King Simba]

"No...boring long day..." Katai says as he drifts off to sleep, Jaini is already asleep.

Jaini yawns and opens his eyes before sitting up.

[King Simba]

"I'm feeling a lot better now that I've had some sleep." Jaini smiles up to Asha nuzzling her lovingly.

[King Simba]

"Ok..." Jaini rubs his eyes and goes for a drink.

[King Simba]

"Cool!" Jaini grins up to her suckling hungrily.

[King Simba]

"Ok...I'll try to be." Jaini smiles continuing to suckle.

"Ok...I'll try not to." Jaini says as he stops suckling.

"Of course I am." Katai smiles to Asha.

"I wonder how many we'll have..." Katai pauses, "Oh...and we have to think of more names."

Namabi pads over to them with Lunara, "I was listening in..." he grins, "Tell me your tale." he sits down with them beside Lunara.

(I suppose it's bout time I started RPing. :P *has been out of it lately*

Outside the den, a raven black lioness was lounging peacefully. She rolled over and let a yawn escape her muzzle, flicking her silver-ended tail. Green eyes scanned the area, looking for someone - anyone? - to talk to.

"My name's Sombolia," she replied, grateful for the company. "I've only been here a few days. Are you the king? I didn't know, otherwise I would've tried to find you."

"I'm glad I don't look threatening," she smirked, she wasn't skinny exactly, but a bit underweight. "Pleasure to make your aquentince(sp?) king Simba."

Jaini smirks, "Who's she?" he refers to Lunara.

"You know, Asha...when you rub against my chin it really feels relaxing...maybe it's the softness of your head fur." he giggles and purrs, "...and yeah, I was alone before I found my darling Asha." he nuzzles her lovingly before licking her cheek lovingly.

"Oh...alright then. Hi!" Jaini waves a paw at Lunara.
"Hi there little cub." she smiles politely to Jaini.

"You know, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have lived." he sighs a little sadly, "...but I'm thankful for what you did and I'll never forget all the help and support you gave me when I was ill or got an injury."

"If you weren't here how would the pride be able to cope? Just think...you're seem really professional when it comes to curing illnesses and sorting out injuries."

[King Simba]

"You're still the best to me." Katai grins and licks her cheek once again.

[King Simba]

Katai smiles to her, "Well...you're always there...and I appreciate that." he nuzzles her again.

[King Simba]

"Well..." Katai stands up, "I'm gonna need to stretch my legs for a while now."

[King Simba]

"Yeah...and you kinda get that feeling in your legs...you know." Katai takes a walk around to make sure his legs feel ok.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...and it can really ache too...and I wonder where Jaini went."

[King Simba]

Jaini turns his head round, "Wha?". He then runs over to where his parents are.

"There you are." Katai grins to Jaini, "I was getting worried."

[King Simba]

"I was only playing over there...I wasn't too much out your sight." Jaini looks up to his parents, "...no need to get worried dad." he nuzzles his dad's front paws lovingly.

"Stay in sight then, don't go playing hide and seek." Katai sighs, "I was just worried."

[Sombolia]

"Sure, thanks." The lioness bent over the meat and began eating. It was delicious, she hadn't had this type of meat in a while.

"Nah...I need no rest. I feel active." Jaini grins rolling over.

"Yeah, when I'm old like you two are." Jaini laughs.
"Haha, we're not old..."

"Yeah but you will be in time to come." Jaini smirks.
"You know..." Katai pauses, "You'll be old someday."

"Sounds cool...but I don't understand...you were cubs 3 or 4 years ago...wow." Jaini gasps in shock.

"It's not that shocking you know, Jaini. The time will come soon enough."

"I think that sounds great." Jaini grins and nuzzles his mother back.

"Hehe...I'll be a big lion soon though." Jaini grins pouncing on his parents, "I'll grow a big, nice mane like dad!"

"Cool! Heh...how come lionesses don't have manes?" he smirks curiously.

[King Simba]

"I think you've asked this question before Jaini..." Katai laughs grabbing hold of Jaini licking him along his back.

"Hey...stop it dad." Jaini laughs a little getting out of Katai's paws.

"No...stupid dad...if you never done that, I would've had no bath!"
"It's my job..." Katai grins.

"No...how can saliva make you clean? Tell me?" Jaini tries to escape but he can't.

"Ah...but saliva's bad stuff mum!"

"Eww...water will keep me more clean." Jaini smirks as he tries to get away.

"Yeah....but it's not really fair on cubs though is it?" Jaini asks not amused at all.

"Stop it...no male likes baths!" Jaini tries to escape once again.

"Oh...bummer." Jaini says hating his bath.

"No need to be embarassed..." Katai laughs a little noticing her blushing, "You're not shy now though."

"Haha...how are you? I was the one is blushing all the time..." he blushes once again.

Jaini buts in, "Haha, shy? Shame..." Jaini laughs a little.
"Quiet Jaini...I bet you were shy when you first came into this world."

"I was shy? Alright then..." Jaini sighs trying to look out the den but can't see because Katai is sat in the way.

"Has it stopped raining yet?"

[King Simba]

"The wet season stinks...we can't ever go anywhere...it's boring." Jaini sighs rolling onto his back.

"Alright then..." Jaini sighs and goes for some milk.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...I could use some food...I don't think anyone has had chance to go hunting..." Katai sighs and takes a piece of meat.

Jaini suckles hungrily.

[King Simba]

Jaini looks up, "Huh? The cubs...are they really coming?"
Katai gasps, "Do you need any help...I'll go and get help..."

[King Simba]

"Uh...so what you want me to do? Sit around or what?" asks Katai concerned a little.

"Feels the same as last time? or worse?"

Katai gasps, "Do you really want help Asha? If you want I'll go and get help..." he begins to panic.

"Yeah but I don't like to see you in pain like this...it kinda upsets me."

[King Simba]

"5? well you seem in a lot of pain. Just try your hardest and push." Katai tries to stop himself from panicking.

[King Simba]

"Oh my gosh...how many is there?" Katai runs around to the other side and counts them, "Whoa! 7? My god, we are lucky!" he smiles happily.

"Very beautiful...any ideas for names?" Katai smiles happily cleaning some of the cubs off himself.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...sure. Let's see..." Katai pauses for a moment thinking of some names for the cubs, "I've come up with a few...tell me if they're ok or not. Gaun, Damu and Badru for the males...I have no idea for the females. Would you like to choose those names?"

(Some of these names are out my head btw. ;))

(Ah right. The two females can be called Farida and Jemima and the male cub can be called Guan. =))

"Such lovely names for beautiful cubs." Katai nuzzles them all happily, "They're gonna grow up to be strong lions and lionesses just like Reth, Karia, Amani and Jaini."

"Yeah...it would be pretty nasty...we'll have to keep a good eye on them." Katai sighs before looking over to Jaini.

"I'll give you a hand...so many lovely little cubs." Katai smiles happily picking some cubs up too.

Jaini runs over and looks down onto the cubs. He looks down at Jemima, Farida and Guan. "What's their names?" he looks up to Katai curiously.
Jemima mews a little, fearing from Jaini. Farida and Guan mew too.
Katai looks down to Jaini, "Meet your new brothers and sisters Jaini." he smiles warmly, "This is Farida and Jemima, two of your new sisters and this is Guan, one of your new brothers."

"What's wrong with him?" Katai looks at Reth, "He looks....scared."

[King Simba]

"I'm sure he'll get used to them though...well at least I hope he will." Katai sighs.

Jaini rolls over to near the cubs, Guan and Jemima whimper a little. Farida is fast asleep.

"I think you'd better step back a little Jaini. They're not used to you yet...they'll soon know though." Katai grabs hold of Jaini by the scruff on his neck and places him down away from the new born cubs.

Jemima looks up at Reth and paws at his whiskers. It can obviously be noticed that Jemima is a very playful cub. Farida opens her eyes too along with Guan.

Jemima giggles a bit and closes her eyes once again. Jaini looks down onto his new brothers and sisters, he is a little unsure.

Katai heards his stomach rumbling, "I'm a little hungry..."

[King Simba]

"Looks like the hunt must've been a good one..." Katai takes a bite out of the meat.

Jaini rolls on the floor, "Hehe...you can't speak yet, can you?" he grins up to his older brother.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...I try to hunt when I can unlike some lions who never hunt at all." Katai laughs a little licking away some blood from around his mouth, "Of course you're the most fantastic huntress of them all." he nuzzles her lovingly.

"Aww, c'mon talk...you can at least say 'daddy' can't ya?" Jaini looks up to his brother.

[King Simba]

Jaini sighs sadly to Reth, "Aww...I'm sure you'll learn how to speak someday...every lion learns how to speak."

Farida, Jemima and Guan look curiously at Kupa unsure what to do, they decide to suckle like their brothers and sisters.

"Little beauties..." Katai purrs happily to them, he nuzzles his mate once more.

[King Simba]

Jaini rolls over and looks back at Reth before looking up at his parents, "Why isn't Reth talking?"

[King Simba]

"Heh...I'm the only one who speaks right? And I'm one of the younger ones...not including the new borns." Jaini sighs and lays down beside the new borns.

[King Simba]

"Hehe...Reth just talked." Jaini grins happily.
"Whoa, you're right. Brings back memories, from the day you first spoke." Katai smiles at the memory, "Those were the first words you said." he then looks back down to Reth.

[King Simba]

Jaini grins happily, "Yay! My brothers can speak."
Meanwhile Karia tries to mimic her brothers, "M-mummy..." she smiles up happily to Asha and nuzzles her lovingly before turning to Katai, "D-daddy..." she grins widely and happily nuzzling Katai too.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...I'll end up getting pushed to pulling my mane and fur out if that happened." Katai whispers to Asha so the cubs can't hear.

[King Simba]

"Oh man...don't even mention it." Katai rolls his eyes laughing a little, "Then we'd have more than 10 cubs making us pull our fur out."

[King Simba]

"Yeah..." Katai smirks sneaking away. He disappears for a few moments.

[King Simba]

Katai rolls his eyes, his plan was ruined. He then smirks and turns around pouncing on top of Asha sending her flying to the floor. He puts two paws on her shoulders and smirks, "Gotcha."

[King Simba]

"Just wanted to surprise you." Katai smirks down to her.

[King Simba]

"Usually it's you that pins be down, not today though." Katai giggles taking his paws off her shoulders.

[King Simba]

Just as soon as Katai starts walking away he giggles to himself. He turns around and jumps on top of Asha again, "So I gotcha again." he grins.

"Alright..." Katai smirks, "Show me what you can do." he stans up in front of her so that she can pounce on top of him.

"Well females seem to have quite an habit of pinning the males." he laughs a little.

"Yeah...it seems more like that, heh." Katai sits up, "I guess that's enough pouncing for one day, heh."

Jaini looks over to new born cubs, "Ooh..." he looks down curiously, he gasps as soon as he sees his parents come back.

"Jaini, leave the newborns to sleep." Katai nuzzles him before laying down.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...I guess so." Jaini yawns and lays down.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...sounds good." Jaini grins looking over the new cubs once more.

"Eww...yuck, I don't think so." Jaini laughs a little.

"I wouldn't want that to happen." Jaini laughs, "I want a mate of my own."

[King Simba]

"So that doesn't happen here?" Jaini asks curiously, "It sounds kinda stupid."

"Doesn't happen here..." Jaini smirks, "Does it?"

"Heh...being king sounds fun. Namabi always gets what he wants." Katai rolls his eyes.

"Huh...no, I think I'm happy being with you." he laughs a little nuzzling her.

"Heh...that sounds...great. Like I said I'm happy being with you." he licks her cheek lovingly.

"Yeah...I don't really want to live in a pride like that." Katai sighs a little, "It sounds weird."

"Weird..." Katai laughs a little, "Either way, I prefer the way this pride works."

"Same here...I wouldn't want to share you with anyone else, neither would I like to have more than one lioness of my own." he nuzzles her back.

Jaini opens his eyes again, "Feed time now? Okay." he goes for some milk along with Karia.

Jaini starts to suckle along with Karia. Guan, Jemima and Farida are still fast asleep.

"Yeah...they all get their beautiful looks from you. I can see you in them already." he purrs nuzzling Asha too.

Katai places his paw on top of hers, gently rubbing his against her paw. "You know how much I love you." he purrs to her lovingly.

"You...well, I can't really describe what I think of you...you're just...well I don't know. You just mean to me an awful lot." he purrs nuzzling her.

"Yes and I wouldn't want to be in some sort of 'bigamy' situation with you either. I wouldn't want another lion sharing you with me...or another lioness sharing me with you." he laughs a little nuzzling her.

"I knew you'd want me from the day we first met and that wasn't very long ago." Katai nuzzles her, his paw still on hers.

"Hmm...the question is...why was I single? Maybe because of the fact that I never found a lioness as good as you." he purrs again lovingly, his paw still rested over hers.

"Heh...I guess you're the luckiest lioness there is then. Maybe I'm the luckiest lion." Katai nuzzles her back.

"Yeah...I guess so. I always like to choose the best." he nuzzles her again, "...and to me, you're the best."

"Hey...you're scaring me..." Katai laughs jokingly, "Nah, I'm not scared." he nuzzles her back, resting his paw on hers.

"That is silly...considering we're at the top of the food chain around here." he laughs at the thought.

"If we were alone I don't know what it would be like..." Katai pauses, "...I'd still protect you of course." he nuzzles her.

[King Simba]

"I guess so...but the next time we're alone I'll sing for you if you really want me to that is." Katai smirks, "Just gotta keep an eye on the cubs too."

[King Simba]

"Not now though...when we're alone...I'd be shown up else." Katai blushes a bit.

[King Simba]

"That sounded like you was gonna say that I had a bad voice..." Katai smirks, "Nah, I promise I'll do that when we're alone." he nuzzles her, wrapping his tail around hers.

[King Simba]

"Well believe me, my singing voice isn't as nice... you can be the judge of that though, Asha...darling." he purrs to her in the most loving way he has done for a long time, his tail still wrapped around hers.

[King Simba]

"I know..." Katai grins, "...I am quite charming aren't I? Charming to a beautiful looking lioness like yourself."

[King Simba]

"No I won't do that...you're too kind you mean, way too kind." he grins.

[King Simba]

"Oh yeah? Is that so?" he grins up to her pushing her off gently before pouncing on top of her, pinning her down.

[King Simba]

"...and strong too." he grins down to her, keeping her pinned.

[King Simba]

(Darn, I gotta go to school in 10 minutes... :grrr: :()

"Alright, you want me to get off now?" he takes one of his paws off one of her shoulders.

[King Simba]

"Alright...maybe I should stay on here longer if that's alright with you." Katai smirks keeping her firmly pinned.

[King Simba]

"Alright...I'll sit on you next then." Katai smirks down to her, "Unless you don't want me to?"

[King Simba]

"Want me to try it? I'll try it if you really want me to..." he grins down to her, looking at her with his maroon eyes.

[King Simba]

"I can't do it whilst you're on top of me..." Katai laughs a little pushing her off with little force, he smirks for a second and jumps back on top of her.

[King Simba]

"Haha...pinningly?! You have a more creative imagination than me." he grins down to her.

[King Simba]

"Hehe...well, don't you think it's time we were getting back to the cubs?" he takes his paw off of her before turning around waiting for her.

[King Simba]

"Alright...you want me to do what I said I'd do for you? We'll have to go somewhere else though whilst the cubs are sleeping." he blushes a bit.

[King Simba]

"Brrr...it's cold...don't care though." Katai grins, "So, any ideas on where to go so no-one else hears?"

[King Simba]

"Alright...it does seem warm in here actually." Katai pads into the smaller den too still blushing.

[King Simba]

Katai remains quiet and after a few seconds he just breaks out laughing, "What should I sing though?"

[King Simba]

Katai continues to laugh, "Excuse me..." he runs out of the den laughing.

[King Simba]

"Haha...I'm just imagining it..." Katai continues to laugh, "It'll be so funny..."

[King Simba]

"Yeah...but I know I can't sing...it'll be embarassing..." Katai blushes again turning away.

[King Simba]

"Alright...I thought of this song myself..." Katai turns around and get's ready to sing, after a few seconds he starts.

"I thought of that song...and you're the one who deserves it the most. I'm glad you liked it." Katai goes bright red and licks her cheek also.

[King Simba]

"Sure...c'mon, it's cold out tonight. Walk beside me..." Katai smiles and waits for Asha.

[King Simba]

"Feeling warm now?" Katai nuzzles her with his tail wrapped around hers as they pad back to the den.

[King Simba]

"Still sleeping..." he also smiles to the sleeping cubs, yawning a little.

[King Simba]

"Yeah...are you tired yet or what?" Katai purrs to the young cubs and Asha.

[King Simba]

"Might as well...I'm a little tired but I think I'll have an hour or so since it's nearly morning..." he yawns and lays down next to Asha and the new borns.
"I'm not going to bed yet!" Jaini laughs a little, "I'm not tired."

[King Simba]

Jaini sighs, "Sorry...but I'm not sleepy..."
"Whether you're sleepy or not, it's time for sleep Jaini. Even if it's only an hour." Katai looks at Jaini before snuggling up to Asha.

[King Simba]

The next morning the sun rises across the African pridelands. Jaini's ears pop up a little and he looks out onto the lands curiously, still in between his parents.

[King Simba]

Jaini jumps a little and gasps, "Hey mum." Jaini gasps a litte still looking out on to the lands.

[Monai]

Another lion, Monai, is walking across the savannah and sees a strange, almost vertical rock. He decides to walk towards it, wondering what he'll find there.

"Hmm...what do you think Asha?" Katai turns to Asha.

"OK," Monai says. He follows Simba. He looks out at the lands before him, in awe at every sight he sees.

He sees the lion and replies, "Hello, I'm Monai. Who are you?"

Jaini lays his head on his two front paws with a mardy look on his face. "You care too much..."

"Hmm...well who exactly are you? Do you own a pride? Or are you some sort of a rogue?" Katai looks at Monai, "Oh, and by the way, I'm Katai."

"Neither," Monai replies. "I'm a nomad, but I'm always looking for a home."

[King Simba]

"Alright then... I don't belong to this pride really, I belong to The Funsani Pride."

[Monai]

"What's the Funsani Pride?" Monai asked. "Are you the king of it?"

[King Simba]

"Uh...no, not exactly. The king is Namabi, he's my best buddy. We're a travelling pride."

[Monai]

"A travelling pride?" Monai said. "I've never met a travelling pride before."

[King Simba]

"Yeah, we have no real lands of our own so we travel places. We've been here for a few months now."

[Monai]

"So are you staying here?" Monai asked. "I might like to get to know you."

[King Simba]

"Yeah, I've been staying here for some time now and I like it a lot." Katai purrs a little.

[Monai]

"Well, nice to meet you Katai," Monai says. "Hope I'll get to know you."

[King Simba]

"Hmm...so what now?" Katai turns towards Simba and then looks back at Monai.

[Monai]

"Well I could introduce myself..." Monai said. "I don't want people thinking I can't be trusted."

[King Simba]

"Alright...feel free to introduce yourself." Katai stays stood still in a calm pose, he keeps his eyes on Monai.
