a lioness was watching them. she picked up her 4 (in lion years) year old cubs and put them behind them. One cub was pink and had a butterfly on each of her shoulder blades. the other was blue and had a cloud on each of her shoulder blades.

Kasa ducked into the water hole. Though he was not fond of the water, he had to wash all this mud off. He trotted back to pride rock, a smile on his face.

Sahna greeted him warmly, licking his face affectionately. For the first time, Kasa returned her affection. Then he realized others in the pride could see them, and he turned away in embarassment.

Yufa escorted Lira back to pride rock. Although she was a hyena pup, she expressed no fear of the lions. Indeed, Lira had been talking about nothing else except playing with the lion cubs. Even Yufa was wary of the lions. Lira yipped in excitement and ran towards pride rock, ready to play.

"You mind Simba now Lira, remember he is the lion king!" Yufa scolded.

"Yes, father... Can I go play now?" She asked.

"Allright, but don't get into any trouble now..." He reminded her.

Lira yipped and ran up pride rock to go find cubs to play with...

I'm not particularly sure what's going to happen and hope that I won't have to do any exorcism...just...we need a proper funeral for Badrani..." Kenyi looked at Namabi "I recall that the body still lies in the meadows of the grasslands..." Kenyi looked above and then looked at Namabi "It's your call."

"Why should he have a proper funeral? He caused enough trouble and grief to me and my pride. Do whatever you want." replies Namabi.

Kenyi walked halfway out of the den until he turned back around "Just let me tell you this, do you ever think perhaps that maybe once in his life he was good? Maybe there was a reason why he did the things he did, surely he couldn't have just killed lions and lionesses for the entertainment of it." Kenyi padded out of the cavern sighing as he gave Badrani a funeral. After, he patted the dry soil once and prayed there slowly before getting up and padding back into the cavern "It is done...I wouldn't be surprised if Badrani did come back to haunt you, but he won't. I also suggest you prepare yourself, tonight's going to be a rough night and I don't think those rain clouds are going to have any mercy on us..." Kenyi padded away from Namabi and looked at Katai "Watch after your father." He said padding slowly away again.

The Two coloured cubs walked over to thier mother with a scraed look on each of thier faces. Thier mother began to shake and her breath came out in short quick gasps. "Mummy!!!!" the blue cub's scream could be heard a miled away as it echoed through the still air. the cubs new born siblings curled up between the pink cub's paws. The blue cub ran to Shadow and headbutted him to get his attention.

Kopa went again with Shadow " Hi mate, Kopa here" said nuzzling his friend, "how your eyes are today?", then he saw the lions running there a little surprised.

Shadow was by the water hole and hade made him self up in a tree even whit his bad sight.....

he sat on a high stick looking up to the half moon and stars....though he culdent see more then blue light

"Hello, we were wondering weather you would look after us as our mother was killed by a pride of lions from the outlands." explained the black cub. The cubs turned to shadow. "Since you are the only panther we have seen for miles we would like you to become our father or look after us until we find another, is that alright?" asked the white panther cub.

Kopa felt really well when he saw that Shadow was ok. " GReat mate.... really great.." said with some tears falling down his face caused by the emotion.

" I'm ok Dad, I'm ok" smiled Kopa nuzzling Simba " yeah... is great!...I don't know if I could live ok... if he hadn't recovered...." said Kopa with a sad expression.

sure, but they are only newborns so they can't really do much plus it's Sky and Butterfly that are the main cubs.

She tore her eyes away from her bulging belly and looked at Shadow, a pleading look in her eyes. "Wen didn't mean to upset you. i am with cubs and thier birth is nearing we need a pride to help us protect them, if you are not the leader, then who is?" Sari asked.

"I'm Twilight" Twilight said nervously looking at Simba "The reason I'm here is because my pride was killed" Twilight replied looking at the floor "I've been wondering for months now from pride to pride trying to stay but I've never fitted in with any of them...I came across your pride today by luck"

" yeah" Klowd noded looking at his father.

"I really appreciate you letting me stay in your pride land" Twilight said looking up smiling sadly "Just got to see if I actually fit in; if not I will just leave like I have done many times before"

Kenyi nods slowly "I understand, we hope you don't though." Kenyi frowned.

"I really don't want to cause you any hastle I hope you know that" Twilight said looking at Simba and Kenyi feeling like a idiot "Its just I never found a pride that was like my old one" Twilight said looking at the ground again.

"Don't worry, it's no hassle at all Twlight." Kenyi smiled "Yeah, I know how you feel. There weren't any prides that could ever top mine either...I still miss them, but Simba's Pride is a pretty friendly one. We'll try to make you as comfortable as possible, how was your old pride?"

"We where a very close pride we loved each other and we did everything to help each other out" Twilight said "I went out one day and returned....they where all dead....my family....my friends....even my mate" Twilight said looking at Kenyi "I couldn't believe it...how could a whole pride just die like that".
"I left are pride lands in search for a new one as couldn't bare staying in my one...there was no point with no one alive; I went to other prides but they where completly diffrent and I never fitted in" Twilight said sitting down sighing.

" And... you know who did it?" he asked being sad.

"I'm sorry Twilight..." Kenyi frowned "Just to let you know, Simba's pride is a very caring one, where we all love and help each other. Did you have any enemies Twilight?"

"Not that I knew of...we wheren't like other prides we rarely had fights with other prides" Twilight said "We did have problems with hyenas though..I knew it was proberly them...but theres nothing I can do now its not going to bring back my pride or my mate" Twilight said sheding a tear.
