Hey if you have any banners or avatars you would like to show off or just talk about others, this is the Topic to be in!

I am sure you remember my original banner and avatar as being

I was just getting sick of the banner and the avatar was too general for me. So I spent several hours taking screenshots from my Lion King and Lion King 1 1/2 DVDs and the ones I liked best are the ones I am using right now. On my new banner it took me probably 45 minutes to complete because I had to edit young Simba's Picture because it had Zazu's wing in the pic, so I had to take it out using the old fashioned way in paint by copying and pasting the sky over the wing (hard to tell that the wing was even present). The GROWING UP TO BE KING part was the first thing that came to mind when I finished it so I put it up at the Top and of course I had to have Simba 2004 at the bottom.

What else do y'all think I can do to my new banner to make it look better?:cheese:

Cool!! I've seen a Viper on the road before! It was bad dawg!! It was a cool platinum color with hot rims! I loved it!

ha! that is nothing! I have rode in a viper before! One of my dad's friends owns one, and I got a ride in it last summer. I am pretty sure it was a '01 viper.

Well g'day everyone, I'm back after leaving for only 2, or was it 3 days, but w/e my stress is gone (for now) and i have once again changed my banner and avatar. Well here is my newly retired banner and avatar

My new banner and avatar i completely edited in Photoshop CS, only the trial version but hey, whatever works. I love photoshop CS SOOOO MUCH, you can do SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much stuff with it and all, i reccomend y'all go to adobes website and download the trial, only 30 days and its huge file at 150 mbs but it is well worth it!

Some little comments about avatars and banners.

I think some of my favourites here are Nuka's and Simba_2004's. TakaTiger has also nice concept art pic of Scar. I don't like much animated avatars, so I think Ngatuny's ava would look better if it wasn't animated.
Mushroom has a funny avatar (Timon crying mommy). It's weird how much the avatar can affect; every time that I see Mushroom's postings and that crying Timon, it gives me an impression like Mushroom's crying uncontrollably while typing her posts.

Another little thing; during the last weeks, when I select in Paint Shop Pro the "Push" tool, this sentence comes into my mind: "Push on, because there is always hope". It's become quite annoying, since it comes to bug me in every picture I make, and I often make many pictures in one day.
(That sentence is in STM's signature, if someone didn't know what I'm talking about. I don't mean that STM has a bad signature, I just mean it's irritating that my brains make this association every time I'm using PSP.)

I got that from fan art website along with the Vitani pic. They're not mine, I make no claim to them =P I just colored them, credit for the drawing goes to someone else, and once I find the website I'll list who.

Anyway, thanks everyone ^_^ And I think that would be really cool SimbaLKD ;)

Those pictures (save for Nuka, Vitani, Sarafina, and Gopher) are clipart images that I recolored using pictures from the movie. Too bad the white outlines are still there though :( Oh well =P Just glad you guys like 'em ^_^

New thread helps you create, well a new thread and post reply takes you to a new page to reply to the thread, the profile button takes you to that persons profile page, send pm lets you send a private message to that user to where only they can see what you said to them, search helps you find posts by that user, and add buddy lets you add them to your list of buddies so you can see if they are online or not in the control panel

I like the first two there Nuka and the avatar is cool, just try and save those with a photoshop or higher jpg quality to help it keep from being blockly like that, the third one is ok but i'm not too sure if i like it having STM like that, but good job mate :cheese:
