Easter Secret Santa

So I had a spur of the moment thought, and I know it's super late to organise this. I decided I wanted to try and do an art Easter Secret Santa. The picture doesn't have to be elaborate, it can be a sketch, headshot, full colour, whatever. Will give people a few days/till the end of the week to sign up and send out who has who straight away. Even if we only get a few, I think it would still be fun.

^I wouldn't worry about it, as long as we all understand that we may only end up with a sketch, it's fine. I know I wouldn't mind, it's all just for a bit of fun anyway :) Not everyone will have the time or resources to do a fully coloured elaborate picture before easter ;)

Mm, I might join. It'd have to be something simple as a sketch though, as I have no time whatsoever to complete anything major :C And since several people seem to have the same problem, could we just decide then that it's going to be a sketch exchange? Then everyone knows what to expect as well. Like CGW, I wouldn't want anyone who has me as their person to put time and effort into something big to just receive a little sketch for all their hard work; I'd feel so guilty D:

I'd kind of like to join, I haven't draw anything in a long time, but I'm kind of worried I wont have the time, so much cleaning to do in the next couple of weeks, and Petteri's parents will be here for over week at the end of the month. Hmm...

I would be more comfortable doing a sketch to be honest. I'm honestly fine with anything. ;) Besides, I'm at work now, so I don't have as much time as I used to to do a fully coloured piece.

I'll update the first post with those who are joining in, and will also ask you all to name a character and link to a reference and I'll update the first post with that for everybody so it's easily accessible if you lose an e-mail or something with what your person wants etc.

As for me, I'll give you the option of a lion character to go with my elephant one in case whoever gets me doesn't feel like drawing an elephant, I know they can be a little wonky when you aren't used to drawing them. ^^;

Ok, so I will be using the Secret Santa "Draw Names" website. Once everybody has decided they want to join, I will set it up. I'll need to put all of your e-mail addresses in the generator, so if you could either list those here or PM them to me, I can set it up. Well, I'm really at a loss because I don't have a definite character anymore. SO.

Yeah, I think so. Or any time as close to on the Easter weekend that you're able to be online. A day or two either way doesn't have me too fussed, as I understand it's Easter and people spend time with families, sometimes go away etc.

I actually really like that idea. A great way to loosen up and practice but without the deadlines or requirements if people don't want to join.

etc, etc, etc......make sense? If you planned on drawing but didn't want someone to gank it from you, you could just post in the thread saying something like, "I got this one! Will edit post with pic in a minute." or something to that effect.
