Her ears drooped and flipped back at Tahj telling of his past. She turns her head to look down at him, brow furrowed in sympathy. Nala looked ahead again, lowering her gaze to her paws. "I'm sorry," she said softly as she stared down to the cub again, "I don't understand why so many would want to leave you. From what I've seen, you're a kind young lion. There doesn't seem to be anything to not like about you."

The lioness paused, thinking it further. "I lost my mother at a fairly young age," she said after a short silence, "and my father... he didn't even know I was his daughter, let alone show attention towards me until I was an adult... and it wasn't the kind of attention I was hoping for. Sometimes..." She paused again, heaving a sigh as her brow lowered a moment at the memory. "It's difficult to get over those times and those that demean you, but you know what? Every cloud has a silver lining. I eventually found love in someone I thought I'd never see again and was able to start a family and give them the love that I lacked in my childhood. You'll find a pride that will accept you, Tahj. Who knows? If you stick around, it may just be us." She mustered another smile to the cub, hoping to comfort him.

((Hope you don't mind my theory of the whole "Who's Nala's Daddy?" thing. That is, if you get what I'm saying.;)))

Tahj never heard so kind words from a passionate lioness it made him feel that he can trust Nala, even though Nala and Tahj have almost the same past Tahj from sadness slowly growing to happiness in his heart mangaged to smile to what Nala said to him.

Tahj turns to Kiovu being confused about what he said "Who?"

Tahj thinks that the place there going isn't that bad well except this Scar guy that killed Kiovu's great grand father in past but, it may turn out to be a great adventure for him"That's quite a story." Tahj wanting to know more.

While they were walking safila walked closer to kiovu and nuzzled him. She thought he was cute... She walked along next to kiovu still listening to nala's stories..

Far off into the bone desert away from the others, the lion sits before what seems to resemble some sort of burial. Rocks piled on top of one another to signal some sort of grave. Rueiko stares at the monument and frowns, muttering something under his breath and then lowering his head with his eyes shut.

Tekua watched the yellow lion before him look away from him towards the Watering Hole and it made him advert his gaze to stare off there with him, but soon was quickly drawn to attention again as he started speaking again, and he noticed a slight grin on his face. Rac rose from his sitting position and padded after the lion at a slow pace with ease catching up with him. Now walking at his side keeping his gaze forward, the yellow lion started his tale; "Well I fought against a lion trying to steal his prey, he didn't want to move off and he was welcomeing a fight.. but that fight turned out not exactly as I had predicted I underestimated him and thus he defeated me.." Rac said with a pause turning to Tekua with a soft grin, "But then again, the lion I fought sufferd worse indjuries than I did, but hadn't he tricked me.. then he would have been singing on his last verse by now..." Rac smiled devious as the words left his muzzle.

"But something about the lion makes me wonder.." Rac said with thoughtfullness in his voice looking at the ground which passed under his feet, "...the anger is his eyes where like nothing I have ever seen before I was like he was close to going into a state of pure rage" the yellow lion said glanceing at Tekua before turning to the ground once more, "It was odd.. but then again everything about that lion is odd.." Rac added as he turned once more to the savanna before him walking in silence beside the redish young lion...

Dani looks at Safila and Kiovu with a smile. Dani could tell that Safila and Kiovu were falling in love with one another. Dani couldn't really relate to that he was often too shy too even talk too a girl. Yianni smled from atop Dani's back it had been so long that he saw his mom and dad they had abandoned him when he was just a baby. "Dani when we get too the pridelands will we see mommy and daddy"? Dani stops in his tracks and the cheerful smile he had before disappeared from his face. Yianni had no idea how abusive his dad was or that his mom and dad died a while ago. "No, we're not gonna see mommy and daddy" Dani said starting off in a slower pace with a tear in his eye. "How come" Yianni questioned. "Because mom and dad died a while back when they were killed by hyenas" Dani said sadly. "OHHHHHHHHHH then who's gonna take care of me" Yianni asked sadly. "I'm always gonna be here too protect you Yianni and so is Nala and all the other adult lions in the pride" Dani said getting a little bit sadder. He hated too have too tell Yianni that they don't have a mom or dad anymore.

Nala's ears folded somewhat at the questions Kiovu was asking her. She had thought Kiara already told him the story at least a few times. She opened her mouth to tell the story again, but it looked like Kiovu had answered his own questions to the other cubs. Perhaps he just asked them for the sake of the newcomers. Nala, too, listened to the story. Even if what her grandson said wasn't the half of it, she didn't add anything. "No," she spoke up passively, still looking ahead, "I think you got everything."

Nala took a sideglance behind her at Kiovu turning his attention to the female cub, Safila. She arched a thin brow as a knowing smirk came to her face. She recognized the techniques of flirting that Safila used, instantly. As a cub, herself, she didn't show any matter of love interest in Simba. They were friends, it would've been so weird. Nala gave a soft laugh through her nose at the memory. And now look where they were.

Suddenly, the old lioness came to a stop. She lifted her head, analyzing the obstacle in front of them. They were now at the border of the Outlands and the crocodile infested river lay below them. Nala looked to her left, seeing a log that spanned the gap of the river(the one Kiara used when first getting into the Outlands). Rather than risking so many cubs in crossing the river through the water, itself, she had a better idea. "Everyone, get on my back," she said down to the cubs, "we're going to cross that log over there." She nodded her head to the "bridge" as she said this, waiting for the cubs to, hopefully, obey her suggestion.

Dani thought about what Nala had said and then looked at the long across the river. He got across the swamp before but it wasn't him he was worried about it was the others and what about Yianni. Dani couldn't endanger Yianni like that. "Are you sure you could handle 5 cubs on your back? I don't wanna end up hurting you. " Dani said. But instead of arguing with her. Dani was the first one to leap onto her back and gave Yianni a hand getting on Nala's back too.

"I think these old bones can handle it," Nala replied to Dani with a smirk. With that, the lioness tucked her limbs under her to lower herself close to the ground, so to make it easier for the cubs to board her. Dani was first to get on and his weight felt like nothing. Nala had often given piggy-back rides to Kiara and Kopa when they were younger and later to Kivoru and Kiovu.

"I think it would be best for the young cubs to sit towards the middle and the older cubs in front and behind them," she advised, "that way, it'll make it safer for all of you." She looked over her shoulder. "And hold on tight," she added, "I won't mind if there's some claws grasping on to me. I've had worse."

Tekua continued to walk along casually as he listened to the yellow lion tell his story, and his ears perked several times and his interest in the story seemed to drop and rise at different points during the story. Mostly during the part where he was talking about Sengalo having some uncontrollable.. Anger, the one that he had never seen before and he smirked slightly and responded rather dully. "Sounds like the lion went into a stage of blood lust.. Not caring about anything but winning a fight.." He said to Rac turning his head to watch him as they continued to walk.

"Thats an interesting fight scene.. Story thing.." He said in a soft voice. "Its a good thing you didn't die, Then I'd be slam out of luck on... Nevermind" He said stopping himself to give a slight smirk to Rac before facing in front of him again. He thought a second where they were /actually/ going to go to find or what to do for this plan they had made. But first of all was to find if anyone else was willing to join in with it. They couldn't just go up to any random animal and ask if they wanted to overthrow Pride Rock or take over.. Or just get revenge for they may just be inhabitants of the Pride Lands, and be loyal subjects and run off and tell the king about what might be happening and who and what they saw saying this information (The plan).

Tahj looks at the log across the river, it wasn't a problem for him to cross, he's been in situations like that before on his travels to the pridelands when comes to crocadiles,hyenas, and etc."why, why does it have to be them guys" he says to himself as looked at how many crocadiles there where. Tahj was the oldest out of all the cubs, it would be best for him to wait for the others to get on before he does.

Kivoru smirked to his little brother as he flirted with Safila "Casanova..." he said to himself with a chuckle, Kivoru ran up to his grandmother then quickly stopped when the reatched the croc infested rwater below. "Oh no!! not these morons again!!!" he growled staring at the huge lizards below, Kivoru looked at the scar left from the crocodile that caught him from escaping the last time.

He quickly hid his scar from everyone else, by sitting back on his hind legs. The croc's hissed and growled at the young prince as he glared at them. It seemed they remembered him and wanted to finish the job. Kivoru backed away toward Dani and smiled "Let's try not to get in a tussle with these things again.." he whispered.

Tahj watches all of the comotion about Kiovu and Kivoru, he just laughes to the whole conversation becuase it is true that Kivoru's little brother is energetic, he can't wait to get pride rock all of his dreams are about to come true, well maybe soon "Hey guys wait for me!".

"A bloodlust which could make him a valuable.. allied" Rac said with a thoughtful tone to his voice glanceing at the redish lion beside him, "..but then again, I might have already ruined that alliance." the yellow lion said with a defecated sigh, turning back to the savanna before him.

"Well I wasn't trying to get killed, I know when to throw in the towel.." the yellow lion smiled at Tekua beside him. Rac couldn't get that lion off his mind, the way he fought that lion was a formidabel killer. Snapping out of his toughts as he heard Tekua talk to him, "What? Oh.." the yellow lion added with a slight suprise in his voice. "Well I am not really sure.." Rac said and turned his gaze to Pride Rock in the distance, "But one thing is sure, we'll stay away from that copje untill we are ready.." Rac said narrowing his eyes at the rock formation in the horizon.

Yianni and Dani finally get too Pride Rock. "Wow this place is awesome don't you think Dani? It's gonna be so much fun living with you in a cool place like this. What were you like when you were my age Dani? I just can't believe this place is so cool." Yianni said blabbering on and on and on. Dani just smiled in a way he had missed the mindless communication that Yianni would talk about al the time. Yianni jumped on to Dani's back and lightly wraps his paws around Dani's neck. "I'm tired give me a ride Dani" Yianni said. Dani just sighs in a happy sort of way. "Some things never change" He tells himself in his head as he trots up ti Kivo and Kiovu with Yianni on his back.

*Looks over at Dani and his little brother Yianni* "Yes we are lucky Dani,we could've just as easily been Out Landers." "If my Dad hadn't fallen in love with my Mom,Kivo and I would be Out Landers." "At one time my Dad was an Out Lander,but he became a rouge."

((Umm... 'Kay... They're suddenly at Priderock.O-o*confused but tries to work with it*))

It didn't take long for Nala and the cubs to reach Priderock. Nala kept her mouth shut most of the time, nothing for her to say as the cubs carried on. Upon their arrival, the cubs seemed to go off in their own world as they conversed, but the old Queen didn't mind. "Your father is out patrolling the lands," Nala answered to Kiovu, "and I think your mother may be back in the cave." The cream lioness found a particular boulder that she often enjoyed sunning on. With a light hop, she mounted it, plopping herself onto its warm surface. It wasn't far from the cubs and she was able to keep a good eye on them. "Feel free to do what you like," she said to them, "just don't go getting yourself into any scuffles with crocodiles or anything." She gave a knowing smirk down to Dani and Kivoru as she said this. Raising children and grandchildren often heightened the senses of the lioness, for she had heard the two little adventurers' comments about the crocodilians. She waited until now to let them know, enjoying being subtle about it.

Tahj noticed that this is going to be fun living at pride rock, it looks like there are so many things to do at pride rock, Tahj walks up to Kivo, Dani, and of course Yianni to have some fun with his new friends.

Tekua smirked widely at Rac, "Now you are using your brain Rac.. Now you are using it.." he said with a sarcastic smile coming onto his face as he continued to trot ahead, he noticed the lion start staring onwards at Pride Rock and he thought to himself about Rac.

It didn't take long for Nala and the cubs to reach Priderock. Nala kept her mouth shut most of the time, nothing for her to say as the cubs carried on. Upon their arrival, the cubs seemed to go off in their own world as they conversed, but the old Queen didn't mind. "Your father is out patrolling the lands," Nala answered to Kiovu, "and I think your mother may be back in the cave." The cream lioness found a particular boulder that she often enjoyed sunning on. With a light hop, she mounted it, plopping herself onto its warm surface. It wasn't far from the cubs and she was able to keep a good eye on them. "Feel free to do what you like," she said to them, "just don't go getting yourself into any scuffles with crocodiles or anything." She gave a knowing smirk down to Dani and Kivoru as she said this. Raising children and grandchildren often heightened the senses of the lioness, for she had heard the two little adventurers' comments about the crocodilians. She waited until now to let them know, enjoying being subtle about it. Rac had already been watching Sengalo in silence for over a minute, his expression was calm, almost as if he was supressing his emotions. Rac meet the orange lions poisoned glare with a stare cold as winter ice, "Yes... me!" Rac answered Sengalo's hiss with a dull voice that was soon followed by a wicked smirk.

"I see you have found company, Sengalo.." Rac said as he took a step forward towards the lean lion constantly keeping his iced glare fixed on him. The yellow lion glanced at Sengalo's exposed claws, "As much as it seems tempting to return the favor for strangeling me, unfortunatly this isn't the time nor place for such burtalities" Rac said as he walked passed Sengalo not takeing his eyes off him with a sly grin stuck on his maw.

Sengalo lifted his head a bit, his scarred eyebrow raising higher than the left as he turned his head slightly. Not the place? What was the yellow lion talking about... and how did he know his name? Sengalo never mentioned acknowledgements before or during their fight.

"What do you want now," he asked in a slightly less harsh tone, eyes narrowing again. His muscles were still taut in case the yellow lion was lying.

The yellow lion eyed the ground as he halted before Sengalo, "This is kinda rash.. but I am acctually seeking an alliance and I am wondering if you are intrested in such an offer.." Rac said as he looked back at Sengalo with a small smile, ".. but after I tried to steal your kill, that is most likely out of question.." the male said looking back at Pride Rock, before turning back to Sengalo, "If you help me.. that little place can be yours to own.." Rac pointed a paw at the large kopje in distance, looking at Sengalo with a small smirk.

Tekua stayed in his same position watching and looking over the lion that Rac was stalking about, his state of being was.. Meraculous(Sp?) For his age, about the same as him. He didn't appear to be -too- strong, but neither did Tekua for that instance. He relied on brains to win, and so he expected this lion to do so also if he had beaten Rac.

A slight growl formed in his throat and it rose out of his muzzle as he walked closer to the orange lion, with his midnight black mane, he noticed one thing as he got closer to the adolescent lion, His muscles weren't relaxed, they were ready for action, to spring upon either one of them. But one thing he didn't know was what Rac was talking about also, "nows not the time.. Whats he talking about..." He said quietly to himself so no one but him could hear him.

"State your name.." He said calmly coming to sit not even a hairs length away from the lion he was origionally advancing towards, his eyes shown no signs of mercy, nor did they show any signs of life at all. They were just... There..


Tekua then heard Rac but he still stared at the orange lion, and started talking calmly, but quite aggrivated.

"YOu want to have an alliance with somone who almost KILLED YOU, are you CRAZY RAC!?!" He shouted, unknowninly did he know he shouted right in the black maned lions face.

Though Tekua was curious of what this lion was about, and what he could exactly do. He had seen what he could do to Rac, but to him.. Was more of what he wanted to see.

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours first..I have to call you something, Unless you want me to call you by what I think you are, Which is none other than.. A wuss?" he said dully..."now..State thine name.." He said softly again, continuing his gaze into Sengalo's eyes...

Tekua couldn't help but stiffle a laughter that grew in his body that came out as a slight snicker as he held it in. "Pfft.. Sengalo, was your mom half stupid or something? Damn what a dumb name.." he muttered. "Anyways.. I guess I could take it back and use your proper name.." He said with a slight grin appearing upon his face.

his head turned to the lion that was near Sengalo, but it wasn't Rac. It was another lion, a little older than all three of them. Then shook the lion off his mind, nothing he could do to him. His gaze adverted from the lion back to Senaglo once more. "Well, guess I should be a nice lion and keep my promise huh?" He said with a smirk, "Names Tekua, Not.. Tekky.." he said rolling his eyes, quite annoyed as he said that name actually.

A rumbling that was a pitch or so louder than his last escaped Sengalo, his eyes narrowing as his brow lowered enough for the two halves of his scar to become parallel. How dare he insult his mother. "No, she was murdered," he breathed aggravatingly as his claws extended more, touching the ground.

He took no real regard to Tekua stating his own name, nor the nickname that was clearly not to the red lion's liking. Frankly, he could care less. Instead, he turned his head to stare over at Rac. His eyes were still narrowed as he asked sternly to the yellow lion, "why do you want me to join you?"

Vitani walks up too Nala and the other cubs playing. She would lay low now but one day she would help take over the pridelands. But for now she needed too protect her cousins Kiovu and Kivo. "AHHHHHHH I see they're playing tag. I remember when me and Kovu would play that when we were small" She says watching over the cubs that were playing.

Ears perked at the sound of Vitani's raspy voice. Nala turned her attention from the cubs to the young lioness that approached. She mustered a small smile her way. Nala still didn't feel so comfortable around the scruffy lioness, what with Vitani deliberately making an attempt to kill her in the final battle with the Outlanders. However, that was in the past now. After all, it was Vitani that was the first of the Outlander lionesses to side with her pride. Nala would just have to put the past behind her, just as Simba should.

"Hello, Vitani," she said calmly, crossing her paws in front of her, "what have you been up to these last couple of hours? I haven't seen you around Priderock this morning." The old Queen tilted her head somewhat, curiously waiting for the former Outlander's answer.

Kivoru looked every which way as his friends and little brother ran off, "You guys are so gonna get it!" he growled as he chased after his friends. Kivoru was quickly inturrupted by the scent of his Aunt Vitani, he skided to a stop and turned to her with wide eyes "Antie Tani!!" he shouted then ran to her and knocked her over with a headbutt. He smiled down at her and nuzzled her fur "Auntie...where have you been all morning?!" he asked cheerfuly, Kivoru was always following Vitani around when he was younger, she was one of the first Lionesses that he saw when he was born, and he was always fond of her.

"I'm a wanderer I like too have a little excitement every now and again nothing too worry about" Vitani said speaking too Nala. Vitani could tell Nala didn't like Vitani too much. "I'm sorry if you considered that nasty I just wander around sometimes you know"? She says with a honest smile. She had too think about Nala not trusting her. "What can I do too help you trust me Nala? We're practically family do you think I'd do anything too family? " She said still with the honest smile. She gave a short "OOF" as she was headbutted by her nephew Kivo. Vitani brushed her fur against his and gave him a lick on the cheek like a loving mother would do to a cub. "Kivo I am so glad too see you. Your auntie Tani just decided too do a little exploring in the Outlands kinda like what you did with your friends" Vitani said with a smile nuzzling Kivo again.

'It'll be a secret, an adventure with just the two of us.." he whispered.

Somewhere in the vast savannah surrounding Pride Rock, under a fairly sized tree, Simba layed there enjoying the surroundings. He was glad he could enjoy moments like this now that he didn't have to worry about the hardships of being king. He enjoyed being able to spend time with his grandcubs and others of the Pride. Kovu was doing well, ruling these lands, Simba couldn't argue with that. As he sat there he began realizing that he had time to ponder these things. He decided he would find something to do instead of napping. First thing was to head to the waterhole to get a refreshing drink, then find something to do.

As Tahj was running away, he looked behind him to make sure that Kivo was keeping up with him, but he noticed that a lioness named Vitani came along while Kivo tackled her while not paying attention in front of him, Tahj trips over a small rock and lands flat on his face.

Kivoru jumped up and down on her chest the more curious he got about his families past.

Nala layed her head to rest on her paws, looking on calmly as Vitani chatted with her nephew. She said nothing during Vitani's telling of the Outlander vs. Pridelander story, though her thin brows did lower some at the retelling. What hectic times those were. Nala was thankful for them to be over.

At Kivoru finding the innappropriate(to her, anyway) points of the story interesting, Nala only rolled her eyes and shook her head slightly. "There's nothing cool about fighting, Kivoru," she finally said to the cub, her tone slightly stern, "lions can die when they fight..." Other than that, no other words came from the old Queen right now. She felt it more appropriate for Vitani to explain who Zira and Nuka were.

Now that the memories of those families members reached her mind, Nala was beginning to remember that there were more than just those mentioned in the story. However, memory wasn't serving the older lioness well. All she could remember were that there were two others, both male. One was Nuka's age when she met him, the other Kovu's. She began to wonder what ever happened to those two, though she wasn't sure if she wanted to remember them or not.

"It's okay it's not your fault" she says choking back on her tears giving him a nuzzle back on the cheek. "It's just the war between us were very sad times for me. I'll be fine." "Well your father doesn't want you going up there alone but maybe you and your little friends can explore the pridelands if You have an adult around like me. " She says with a little wink too Kivo."I'll see what I can do" She says licking his little nose.

Nala now lifted her head and tilted it somewhat, soft green eyes narrowing some. Was Vitani holding back tears? No, not Vitani. Nala had never seen Vitani cry, or even water up like that. How... odd. She supposed that she could understand if what the younger lioness was mourning over her brother's and mother's deaths, but she didn't expect it over something she willingly had thrown herself into.

Nala needed to get her mind off of it. Slowly standing to her feet, the cream lioness leaned back to stretch her front limbs, flexing her gray claws on her rock perch. She had seen one of the cubs, Tahj, slip up and fall. With a light hop, Nala was off the rock, trotting to the cub's side. "Watch your step next time, 'kay," she said with a smirk. Using her muzzle, she gently nudged the cub to his feet.

Nala lifted her head again, looking over her shoulder back at Kivoru and Vitani. "I think you can take it from here, Vitani," she said back to the younger lioness with a half smile, "there's three or four other cubs hiding around here somewhere. I'll be off to find Simba or see where we'll be making our hunt for today." With a nod, she turned to face forward again, beginning to walk on light paws down the path of Priderock.

Bomani looked about for a few moments away from the group of lions and from his king thinking for a few moments as he eaves dropped on the conversation wihtout saying a word.
A small breeze blew through his mane blowing some in his eye irritating it making him drop his head and bat it away from his paw before glancing up once more this time turning to the small group after hearing all they had to say.

"Food...nah I'm good I don't need to eat" he said raising a paw batting away the suggestion "You do what ever I'll just follow".
He dropped his paw and looked across the water of the watering hole; the sun reflected off it made it bright and irritated his eyes slightly making him blink a few times. But it was such a wonderful light or so he felt making him want to keep looking at it.
He looked at Kovu once more nodding at his words.

"Yes I only feel right when I'm doing something good for the pride; it be most appreciated that I do my duties for the potection of this kingdom" he smiled slightly nodding his head slightly to him.

"Well encase you don't remember the whole Outland's incident your pride attacked without much of a warning; just don't want a repeat of something similar" he said pointing his muzzle to the scars on his shoulders with his muzzle "As much unlikley that will happen again" he said looking back at Kovu "Also sorry for bringing that up but thats a perfect example of what can happen in little time" he said in a appolagetic tone dropping his head slightly breaking eye contact with him.

"Yeah anyway lets get this party started huh?" he said looking up glancing at the others keeping his eyes away from Kovu's encase he had someway angered him with his comments about the past.

As Tahj heard about the war that Vitani is talking about, he never even heard of it, it makes him upset because he never liked fighting, but in bad situtations he has to fight, he's been through alot of fighting of his own, many didn't beleive that he did it on his own, but hearing the word war makes his fur stick up.

Watching the Pridelands.

As the shadowed form steps into the light of the blazing sun, it is revealed to be something out of a nightmare - the body is little more than skin and bones, a result of surviving on even less than before the near-drowning experience. Zabad skulked roung the side of Priderock, making sure to keep out of site. He hadn't seen Sengalo in days and was now looking for Vitani. You know he had kinda grown more attached to his half sister, a strange bond between to two was forming.

Zabad was also anxious to see Sengalo again. Over the past few days he had turned Sengalos words over in his mind and wondered what he was going to say before Vitani had interupted.

Kivoru smiled at his little brother, he knew Kiovu did infact ask alot of questions. suddenly a dark presence wiped Kivo's smile away clean, his head began to pound at how strong the being was, the scent was strangly familiar as he raised his nose to the sky, "Who..is that?" he thought out loud.

Kivoru pushed the dark red tuft away from his scarred eye, and looked about the landscape, "What's this feeling?...I sense anger, hatred, death." Little did the cub know it was his grandmother Zira's presence that brought chills down his spine and the fur on his neck to stand on end.

The cub shook his head and looked back to his family, they hadn't noticed a thing...Kivo has always been a strange cub. He could sense darkness through out the very land he stood upon, even when he was born the very blackness he could sniff out, engulfed his own being, like his father before him who fought against it by falling in love, and the root of the evil his anscestor Scar. This was kept silent between Kovu and Kiara...only they knew what the cub's true power was. "hmm...that was strange." he murmured.

((I know that you haven't been in the RP for a while, Mushroom, but no real time has passed. Sengalo's still in the same spot, Vitani (I guess) just left inconspicuously and headed back to Priderock, and two new lions have shown up, Tekua and Rac, and are asking Sengalo and Zabad to join them in taking over Priderock.;)))

The cubs and Vitani didn't seem to take much notice of Nala's departure from them, but the old Queen shrugged it off. She knew how much the Princes admired Vitani and she wanted to let them spend time with her without an old lioness like her around. Vitani was a sharp one and good with the cubs. Nala supposed she left them in good paws.

Nala continued to walk through the grasslands as the cubs and Vitani carried on their conversation back at Priderock. Her intention was to find Simba, but she didn't mind taking the stroll as she searched. She lifted her head to sniff the air around her, making an attempt to see if the rumours of those rogues were true. However, nothing new came to her. Perhaps, she was just out of range. It wouldn't be too long now before she heard word if they meant friendship or harm. Kovu, Simba, and other males of the pride seemed to be out and about in the lands since morning, since she hadn't seen any of them at all today. Nala kept continuing her slow, calm walk through her homeland, not expecting any danger that may be lurking in the shadows at this point.

Zabad managed to bring himself to his feet once more. He look over at Tekua and Rac. They seemed strong and strudy but were they trustworthy. It had been difficult to find people he could trust in this world. But he was willing to give it a chance.

"Very well," he began, "Vitani will take us to Simba, perhaps saying we are vagerbonds or outkasts from our own pride or prides. Hopefully with his soft heart he'll welcome us, like a fool."

When Vitani had noticed that the cubs had gone too play she gets up and looks around too make sure no one is watching her. She quietly slinks off too see the lions who she had met earlier in order too take over the pridelands. But then she thought of something the kids. Amazing enough she didn't want anyone too hurt the kids they had done nothing too her that would make her even want too kill them. Perhaps she could raise all of them too hate pridelanders like her. She figured this was a good time too strike everyone trusted her. She walked over too Zebad. "We should strike soon Simba has his guard down he thinks that this war between pridelander and outlander has ended it hasn't even begun yet" She said with a soft cackle. "Now's the time too stirke while his trust in me is still strong" She says with a big smile.

Zabad gave Sengalo a slight nudge and began to walk forward towards Vitani.
"Then we must leave immediately. Take us to Pride Rock now and we will speak with Simba or possibly his queen and ask for a welcome."

Kovu listened to his friend talk, and a smirk shown upon his face as he was finished. "Bomani, maybe you should stop thinking about protecting and worrying so much about this Pride.. And start thinking about yourself a little bit more" He said nonchalantely and nudged his friend on his side softly. He stole a glance back at the two lion lovers, and back at Bomani once more, "Well, You know how I am and all.. Always looking out for the best of the Pride..." He said stopping himself realizing that he just said exactly what Bomani did all the time, and what he told Bomani what not to be so much of. Jaha took a slight glance at Cae before looking back towards Kovu and Bomani. Jaha could hear his stomach rumble--it was obvious is was hungry. He heard Cae's stomach rumble too. He rubbed both their stomachs with a paw as he looked at Kovu with his turquoise eyes and nodded, "Yeah, well you both could probably hear that our stomach's are rumbling...we sure are hungry."

He then looked at Bomani and smirked, "Heh, 'mani...get the party started huh? I like...I like." He stuck his tongue out playfully before looking at Cae who had drawn his full attention onto a nearby herd of antelope.

"Bulls-eye." Cae smirked and looked back at the others, "There's our lunch." He grinned before tossing his slightly longer quiff away once more.

When Vitani had noticed that the cubs had gone too play she gets up and looks around too make sure no one is watching her. She quietly slinks off too see the lions who she had met earlier in order too take over the pridelands. But then she thought of something the kids. Amazing enough she didn't want anyone too hurt the kids they had done nothing too her that would make her even want too kill them. Perhaps she could raise all of them too hate pridelanders like her. She figured this was a good time too strike everyone trusted her. She walked over too Zebad. "We should strike soon Simba has his guard down he thinks that this war between pridelander and outlander has ended it hasn't even begun yet" She said with a soft cackle. "Now's the time too stirke while his trust in me is still strong" She says with a big smile.

Zabad gave Sengalo a slight nudge and began to walk forward towards Vitani.
"Then we must leave immediately. Take us to Pride Rock now and we will speak with Simba or possibly his queen and ask for a welcome."

Dark rimmed ears perked under his black mane as Sengalo finally heard Vitani speak up. He turned his attention from Rac to where she had been standing, only to avert his gaze to a different source as he saw the scruffy lioness approaching them. Had she been gone this whole time? Sengalo didn't even notice her leave.

Sengalo felt a short nudge that came from Zabad, breaking him out of his train of thought of where Vitani could've possibly gone off to so inconspicuously. He gave a nod in reply to Zabad, then turned to stare at Tekua and Rac, eyes questioning if they, too, wanted to head to Priderock now.

At Vitani's rather hasty wish to make a move on the Pridelanders, Sengalo's brow lowered. He still wasn't very fond of the idea with joining them in the takeover, they being so quick to take action. However, he said nothing, only listening to what the other lions discussed about it and still awaiting his answer to why Rac would want to partake in this.

Zabad began to walk on, he had made p his mind. He took big strides ahead infront of the rest he did not need Vitani to show him the way he was once a grand Prince along with his brother at Priderock. It was his birthplace and once his home. As long as Vitani took control when they met Simba all would be well, he just hoped Simba would not recognise him or the others.
After walking a bit he stopped and looked back, the others were yet to follow and make hast. He swung his head towards Priderock to indicate where they must go. He took a moment to think and realised he was still somewhat weak from story telling and how his looks had made him look so much more aged then he really was. He could limp and pretend to be feeble so that when they turned on Simba it would be even more unexpected.

Bomani glanced over and looked in Kovu's direction once more realising he didn't sound angry what so ever at what he had just said feeling the rush of relieve wash over him thanking the great kings in his head feeling Kovu's warm fuzzy body nudge against him. He looked into Kovu's eyes and smirked as he continued to listen to what he had to say realising he was saying some things that he had just said a few moments ago.
Seeing him shake his head and smile mad Bomani smirk and laugh softly and petted his shoulder softly with his paw.

"Hey don't worry Kovu we all fall into things like that only natural we put ourselfs into such a embarrising position every so often" he laughed softly thinking again for a moment; the smile slipping from his muzzle as he drifted back into thought.
"Strange thing is Kovu I can't be myself unless I do; the prides my life and worrying about things being ok makes me feel good" he said looking over at Jaha and Cae for a moment before looking back.
"I'd keep that feeling in mind its usualy a sign of something" he said nodding his head.
"Yeah lets go" Bomani replied clicking his neck and shaking his mane once more looking over at everyone one more time scritching the ground softly with his claws. He looked up at Jaha shaking his head at him rolling his eyes with a smile on his face before looking at Kovu.

[King Simba]

"And I guess you could always count us in if you need any help protecting the Pride." Jaha offered stepping forward, "Me and Cae may not be the strongest of all lions but we will try our best to do what needs to be done." He smiled before looking in the opposite direction for a moment or two. He blinked his turquiose eyes and sighed.

"Though Kovu, 'Mani...I don't think we'll be able to do much without a bit of food to keep us going." He looked down again hearing his stomach rumble.

"Yeah, so who wants to lead the way?" Cae turned to the group before padding forward in the opposite direction looking out from a nearby ledge, "Let's say...the King'd lead the way, huh?" He smirked looking back at the group and eye-ing Kovu.

[Kovu The Lion]

Tekua watched as the scruffy lioness appeared before them again and he shook his head.

"No we can't attack just now.. It is imparative(sp?) that we gain his trust, We need to make him believe we are innocent. His little 'friends'. Because if we just attack him then we are basically screwed out the wazoo." He stated, "Why you ask? Because Simba doesnt trust anyone new, I've learned this from certain by passers." He said with a sly smirk on his muzzle.

Tekua then noticed the look Sengalo had given him, and it was almost as if he was asking him a question. He knew it immediatly and nodded to the lion. "I'll come." He said in a firm voice, then noticed as Zabad had started his way to Pride Rock. "The fool.." he said in a low voice. "I hope you're brother knows what he's doing.. But for now lets follow.." H turned his head back to his aquientance as he called him, Rac. "You coming with us?" He asked.

Kovu looked out ahead of him as Jaha and Cae had mention a word "bulls-eye", he noticed first that they were talking about a herd of antelope not to far away from them, down a hill somewhat. And he could only smirk. "easy prey" He muttered softly, then turned to speak to Bomani. "Yes I know how you feel friend, and I'm thankful, very thankful for the lion you are. Couldn't ask for a better protector, or friend." he said with a simple smile on his face. He heard Bomani's neck crick and he shivered slightly, "That gives me the weirdest feeling.." he said with a slight smirk on his muzzle as he turned to the Two mates once again as they mentioned him leading the way.

"Well, I guess I should." he said with a smirk, He gave a simple head movement meaning to head out, and whispered soflty, "If you see my tail rise, Attack, That way we can move steathly, So keep your eyes out for me." He said with a slight wink to the lions, Then spoke again.
"but first lets pick one out.. Big fat and juicy, hard to catch.. Or the simple to catch smaller one with a possible injury.. If we are lucky enough?" He asked, He wanted to get the right amount of food for the lions, and so not to waste food, but not to want them to still be hungry after they hunted.

Rac's ears perked as Tekua asked him a question, "Wha? Oh sure.." the yellow lion replied as he stood to his feet starting to slowly walk in the direction of the large kopje. "I like your plan Tekua.." Rac said as he looked back over his shoulder at the redish lion. "But just as a little reminder to you all, Simba knows me and who I am.. that might give us a better discount if we are to get close to them.." Rac said with a small grin, as he turned once more to the large rock formation continueing his walk.

The 'fool' comment had not gone unheard to Zabad, he gritted his teeth but he could not waste time fighting.
'Follow me, and Vitani, keep together. When we reach priderock do not speak unless spoken to, let Vitani or Rac do the talking."
He continued, his shoulders hunched and eyes narrow, he could not wait to plunge his claws into Simba's neck, rip Kovu's eyes out and crush that princesses bones. But he would have to be patient, trust must be gained if they were ever going to succeed.

Sengalo waited for everyone to get going and follow Zabad with the lead. "He's not my brother," he lied straight faced to Tekua as the red lion passed him, but his eyes wandering to Zabad as he said this.

Zabad was at front, closely followed by Vitani, Rac in third, and Tekua just behind the yellow. There were so many strange males involved. Would they actually be able to pull it off? Nala's head quickly lifted at the sound of rustling grass in the distance. She narrowed her eyes to focus on the figure in the distance. She recognized the dull cream yellow form of Vitani. However, there was another figure with her... and another and another. Nala blinked a couple of times as her brow furrowed. There were four figures in total and all of them were adult male lions. Nala narrowed her eyes again, but this time, out of suspicion.

None of the Prideland males seemed to be about, so Nala may have to see to this, herself. She lifted her head in the regal manner she had learned in her years as Queen before she passed it on to Kiara. She took sure steps towards the group. Her eyes were mostly focused on Vitani, but she got good glances at the strange males. Perhaps they were the rogues that were being talked about? There were two in particular that caught her eye, both having an eerily uncanny likeness to Scar. However, she reminded herself not to stare and asked the former Outlander lioness calmly, "who are all your friends, Vitani?"

Zabad nodded and bowed deeply to the queen. What a disgusting thought this runt, Queen over his lovely Keyonna who would have received such an honor if Simba had obeyed his place as outkast. However if Zabad was never exiled from the pridelands, he would not had ran away from his mother and met Keyonna in the first place. Interesting.

Zabad rose again and smiled, almost sweetly but there was a sense of sickliness about it that he just could not hide.

Tekua stood in line following the two lions before him, he found it rather.. Awkward to even be traveling like this, the last time had ever been in such a uniformed manner as walking in a line was... Puh never? He shook his head but for now he obeyed the lions that were around him for he knew straight in his mind he couldn't take down every single one of them, and plus.. You had to do things you didn't like to get to the best part.. Right? He looked over the shoulder of Rac and saw Nala as they were heading straight forward her and he thought one word in his mind as he saw the queens face.

He raised an eyebrow at Vitani as she said he was her friend Pfft, if only she knew what he thought of her.. He rolled his eyes and stared at Zabad in complete amazement as he bowed down and he told himself immediatly he wouldn't do that, EVER. He just gave a quick, friendly, smile.. Ugh how he hated being polite. "Nice to meet you.. " He muttered slightly, he looked over his fur, and he was glad he had at least taken time to clean it before he had meet up with Sengalo, for he actually looked.. Nice for once instead of his fur being all ruffled and battered from not taking care of his fur for a while.

Tekua then spoke up and tried to sound as innocent as ever as he spoke.

"I'm just a lone lion.. I found these guys.. And well we all sorta found ourselves coming into these lands and well.. We have no food.. No water... Think you can take a couple of rogues in.. We can prove ourselves... Somehow I am sure.." he said with a slight smirk appearing on his face, but it quickly dissapeared as he stopped talking once more.

Rac kept a calm silent stature at Vitani interdouced their names. Rac's eyes didn't leave the Queen for way over a minute, his eyes narrowed slightly but then the yellow lion glanced at Tekua who had spoken up, Rac arched a brow before looking back at Nala before him.

Thoughts of his past recked his mind, this was the lioness responsible for him and his mothers exile, it was her who had stood in the way of her mother and Simba. If it wasn't for Nala, Rac would have goven these lands. The yellow lion quickly shrugged his toughts off as he noticed he was starting drift off. But he wouldn't denie that Nala was the cause off all the misery Rac had to endure through his cubhood. Both her and his father Simba where the once to pay.

Meeting Nala's gaze once more, the yellow lion showed a charming yet polite smirk at the Queen trying his best to gain a good first impression. "I wonder if she remeber me?" Rac throught through his gritted teeth, ".. but what will happen if she does.." the thoughts race through the yellow lions mind, brining it to fact that his past at Pride Rock could endanger the entier scheme.

Zabad looked at Sengalo and thought for a moment, this was the first time he had relised how alike they were and it gave him an idea on how to reek more sympathy from Nala.
"Me and my," he paused and gritted his teeth slightly, "brother, come from far away, exiled from our pride of whom knew of Scar and worshipped him intently, that is why we have these scars on our faces. It is a form of heritage there." He had noticed Nala had been observing their markings for some time. "But we carry them not with pride. I'm not sure if I can speak such strong emotions from my, brother, but I myself am ashamed of it. We would be most grateful of shelter since we have travelled so far without much food or water, and of course, a lion of my age does suffer quite badly under such weight."

Bomani looked about once more almost avoiding the situation going on at the moment as he turned his attention to across the waterhole once more seeing that same light glisten on the surface of the water shining brightly into his eyes; slowly he blinked his eyes feeling himself slightly dazzled by the light.

He flicked his head away slowly turning it towards the group once more catching Kovu's words about the hunt that he and the other two were about to execute. Softly Bomani unsheated his claws scritching the ground with his claws once more stretching slightly across the ground letting out a slight audible growl before getting back up and softly shaking his head once more looking over at Kovu before looking at Jaha and Cae.

Listening to Kovu's words as he talked to him made a slight smile come across Bomani's muzzle looking away from Kovu as he said it feeling the rush of happiness go through his body knowing how Kovu felt about him. Bomani looked back and nodded his head to Kovu the smile still on his face.

"Thank you my king" he simply said before moving onto the food talk.
"You go ahead and hunt; like I said I'm not hungry" he said turning towards the water once more "I'll watch and wait for what we're going to do next" he said nodding his head slightly looking back at Kovu waiting to see what he had to say to his decision "The thought of food just isn't on my mind at the moment".

[King Simba]

Cae yawned and laid on his back, "To be honest guys, I'm a lil' tired...I think I'll head back to the den for a bit. No idea what Bomani's doing. I feel a lil' guilty for not coming along..." He sighed and looked up to the group, "I guess I can thank you, Ja for last night." He laughed slightly before rolling onto his front and padding in the opposite direction, "I'll see you guys later." He winked to Jaha and smirked at both Bomani and Kovu.

"Well, I guess it just leaves me and you Kovu." Jaha shook his head slightly, "Guess you're not coming 'mani, huh?"

[Kovu The Lion]

Kovu shook his head as the group started to leave and smirked, "Lazy lions.." He said with a smirk, he waved a paw goodbye at Cae as he started to walk off. "Damn Jaha, what all did you do to him last night, He's tired as I don't know what" He said eying Jaha before lookign to Bomani who was concentrated on a distant object, until he spoke once more. "Ah well.. Its totally your decion upon what you want to do, I don't rule you're life, well I do, but i'm not doing it like that, Forcing you to do things.. If you know what I mean.. though the help would be highly appreciated" He said with a soft smile to Bomani

Makarov walked through the sun burnt grass, and wound his way about. He'd been walking for a while now, his eyes locked onto this pack of rouges. He was wary of siding with them, it'd ruin his reputation upon his arrival.
The voices of some of the others became clear as he fell to his breast and crawled gingerly forth. Peeking through the grass he rested himself, relaxed and remained silent for a while, intent on listening.

Dam Jaha, what all did you do to him last night? He's tired as I don't know what.

Makarov coul only see the back of the host to those words. Casting a glance to the right he saw another, and then looking further he depicted yet another lion. His face was stoic, and did not express any thoughts he held inside. A wind swept by, and he pricked his ears to understand it's direction better. Downwind - dobry.
His breath was silent, and very slow. He did not want to expose himself quite yet.

Ah well...It's totaly your decision upon what you want to do. I don't rule your life - well, I do - but I'm not making it like that. Forcing you to do things... if you know what I mean. Though the help would be highly appreciated.

Nala gave a glance to each of the lions as Vitani said their names. In the back of her mind, something was telling her she knew all but one of the rogues' names. Again, the two black maned lions had a likeness to Scar, but she felt she may have met them before. The yellow one even had similar features to Simba. However, the completely red one she had never seen. It all seemed very... odd to the old Queen.

For some reason, Nala was caught off gaurd by one of the black maned male's bow in appreciation. She mustered a half smile to him, though it was forced, giving a nod to him.

She felt awkward and felt the gaze of one of the lions on her. She looked over to Rac, but quickly averted her gaze to one that finally spoke up.

The red lion was first to speak. Nala turned her head to stare at him, brow furrowing somewhat as she listened. "Well... I guess if that's the case..." she began slowly, but trailed off. Should it be her duty to decide who can safely enter the Pridelands when neither Simba or Kovu were nowhere to be seen? It left the cream lioness unsure.

The lion that had bowed now spoke up. Nala turned her attention to him, her head tilting a bit as he told his story behind the scars. What was so special about Scar that other prides had to practically worship him as one of the Great Kings? First the Outlanders, now this pride being spoken about. Perhaps, if they knew what hardship he had put the Pridelands through, they may rethink who they were modeling after. At least these two, or one of them, admitted that they weren't proud of their strange culture.

At Zabad speaking of his "brother," Nala looked up over at the second black maned lion. While the others stepped forward to explain themselves, that one lingered back, remaining in the same spot. The lion's bright green eyes watched calmly under half shut lids, the piercing orbs boring into the former Queen. Nala shuddered inwardly. She wondered why he hadn't spoken up yet. Then, she noticed that the quiet lion carried even more scars on his body, four deep gashes on his right shoulder and they looked fresh. "And what about your brother," she asked calmly to Zabad as she motioned her head to Sengalo, "what happened to his shoulder?"

Now, Sengalo made a motion to show that he was, in fact, alive under that emotionless face. His dark brown rimmed ears twitched, he lifting his head at the question. He had forgotten about that injury. He took a glance over at Rac, but finally said dully, "there's still a few pesky hyenas around here..." and that was it.

Zabad stared back at Sengalo, worried for a moment that he may blow it. But he made a nice cover up. It was irritating to Zabad though how little he was doing to help. He stepped back slightly and whisper so it was only audible to faux brother,
"Stop acting so ominous, I hate this twice as much as you but this will benefit us in the end. We are just going to ahve to put up with it now beg the old goat for shelter."

Sengalo took a side glance over to Zabad, an ear twitching upwards as he heard the older lion's words. A small smirk found its way onto Sengalo's lips, he replying in an equally low tone, "why should I when you all have already done it for me?"

He took his gaze to stare at Nala again, now taking a step or two towards her. "Madam," he began in a more dignified manner.

"Hmm," Nala asked as she quickly turned to face him. Until now, she had been giving further examinations of the other lions, Rac especially. There was something about him... but it would have to wait.

"Judging from the... noble way you carry yourself," Sengalo continued nonchalantly, "you'd be Queen of these beautiful lands, yes?" He tilted his head to the left slightly, his scarred eyebrow raising a bit.

Nala was a bit hesitant to answer. She looked down for a moment, thinking of what she would say. "Well... not exactly," she finally said, "...but you'll find that out soon enough." She couldn't dare to show weakness in front of strangers and had to set some example for Vitani. Her uncertain expression was exchanged for a calmer and more collected one, even a small smirk of her own gracing her features.

"If you'll excuse me for just a moment," she requested and turned away from them. "I'll notify those who need to know that you're here," she finished as she looked over her shoulder. She lifted her head, inhaling deeply. She let out a loud roar, a call for Kovu or Simba if they were anywhere nearby. Hopefully, her call was loud enough that they'd hear her.

Zabad's eyes shifted from side to side. He was nervous now. He had hoped that Nala could give the word of whether they could stay or not, then he wouldn't have to meet with Simba or the current King (unknowingly to him, his half-brother Kovu). Simba shouldn't recognise him though, it had been far to long and he'd never met this new King yet but there was something nagging in the back of his mind and he couldn't help but feel anxious.

Nala's roar caused Sengalo's ears to flatten into his silky black mane. His eyes narrowed slightly, his muzzle doing the characteristic twitch in and out of a grimace. He, too, had expected Nala to give them the consent, but that obviously wasn't going to happen. She was a clever lioness and he would have to keep on his toes with her. They all would.

"It shouldn't be long now," Nala said calmly. Her ears stood erect, waiting for any kind of reply that may be returned to her. She began turning back to the group of rogues, her attention going to Zabad. She tilted her head a bit at him, a thin brow raising slightly. Was that anxiety showing through him? Nala pondered on the thought why. Did he have something to hide or was he just nervous around ruling lions? Whatever the case, Nala quit her staring before anyone could notice, as it only lasted about a second. "I'd like you all to wait here," she said sternly, nodding her head, "they should be here any minute." At least, that's what she hoped. The aging lioness didn't feel comfortable being alone with this many young males. Sure, Vitani was there, but how could she be sure if the scruffy lioness would be of any help?

"Very well," Sengalo answered to her flatly, "I don't know about the others, but if this is regular procedure..." He trailed off, going deep in thought. This group of outcasts had just met. There hadn't been enough planning between them about the different scenarios they had to face. Sengalo just hoped any of them had something up their sleeve. It would either make or brake their success in the plot.

[Kovu The Lion]

Tekua's ears went low to his head when he heard Nala's tremendous(sp?) Roar, or call for help as he had thought it was, His eyes looked to his left and right at the lions beside him to see there reactions, and they were just as surprised as he was. Perhaps they had acted to quickly and didn't actually give the planning of this little scheme enough thought. Perhaps he was right, maybe he was wrong.. But he coudln't tell the only thing he knew now was that they had to think quickly and on there paws if they wanted this to work out someway or another. His dark torqouse eyes adverted their gaze back to the older lioness, Nala.

He raised a brow as to ask a question and spoke calmly as to not show his nervousness. "Was that a call for the king, or a warning call..?" He asked lowering his brow once more. He passionately waited for her reply, trying not to show his unnerving body movements.

Kovu turned around to notice a lion standing behind him, he hadn't heard or seen anything about this new creature in his land, and thus was the reason he was supposed to be doing a scavange of the lands. But it seemed the creatures were doing that search for him by coming straight to him or so it seemed. He raised a brow at the lion's question on the point if he needed help or not and he smiled softly to the lion stepping towards him for a moment.

"I'd be honored if I had some help, though I don't really know you.." he started, "..It would be nice to know you're name first however.." He said but then his ears perked at the sound of a call, the call of a lioness. And one in need. But more importantly he noted from the sound of the roar, that it was indeed Nala. His eyes looked in the direction of the call, and back to the new stranger and he sighed shaking his head thinking of what he was to do about this predicament, He was supposed to be here, to hunt with Jaha, and now he was also supposed to be here because of this new lion, but thanks to luck once again not being on his side. He was also needed in another place.

"Umm.." He started off, trying to find the right words in which he needed to say. He looked to Jaha and back to Bomani who wasn't but a short distance away, and he grinned, perhaps Bomani could watch after this lion whilst he was away, or answer that call himself.. Yeah that sounded like a good idea for the time being, he was always loyal to him so what would be the problem for him if he didn't go out and do this for him? But if all went wrong, he would just go himself and get someone to watch the lion.. Or perhaps, bring him with him to the destination in which the call came from.

"Bomani!" he called out to the yellow lion. "Think you can do me a favor and watch this guy for me!?" He asked in quite a loud voice, so the lion could hear his words clearly, and easily. "Or answer that for me!" He called out once more. He turned back to the lion and shrugged showing a slight smirk, "heh, problems with the Pride I suppose.." He said with his smirk turning into a slight smile.

Simba was fairly close to the watering hole when he thought he heard voices up ahead. He stopped to listen but couldn't hear them anymore. "Hm" he said to himself. Couldn't be anything too important he thought. He was only feet away from the watering hole when his ears perked up at the sound of a roar. It took the old king a few seconds to register who it belonged to, "Nala?" he said. He looked in the direction of the roar. It sounded to him as if she needed either him or Kovu's assistance.

He wondered what his queen wanted, took in a deep breath and let it out with a mighty roar letting her know that he had gotten the message and was on his way. He started heading in her direction.

Rac's ears perked at a responding roar, sounding across the savannah, he reconised it immediantly. "Simba..!" the throught ran through his head, his mucels starting to tense out of nerve and axciety. If Simba reconised him, what would he say?

The yellow lion's ear flatten against his dark brown mane, "Keep calm Rac, keep calm" the young lion repeated in his head, as a small barely noticeable grimase crossed his maw. Rac looked back up then meeting Nala's gaze, he gave her a quick polite grin to cover up on his axciety.

He then turned his gaze towards the place where the roar had come, towards the waterhole, the yellow lion narrowed his eyes as he stared in the direction almost as if he was lost in thought.

Nala looked over at Tekua, hearing his question. She was about to answer him, but another roar rang through the air. Nala lifted her head, turning it slightly as her left ear perked upward. Another calm smile came to her face, blue green eyes travelling back to Tekua. "Just wait and see," she replied in a tone to match the slick look on her face. She may have been older than a good majority of the lions here, but there still was that ever present glint of youth in her eyes. She had only aged outwardly, but still was as witty and collected as she was in her younger days.

Sengalo still remained quiet with the same expression on his face, his tail twitching randomly behind him. The metaphorical gears within his mind creaked and turned. Forget the others and what plans they may or may not have, Sengalo wasn't going to risk this scheme and his life being thrown into the dirt.

Nala turned her head fully back to the rogues. Now knowing that her Simba was quickly coming to her aid, she felt more confidence swell within her. She took note of each lion's reactions to her call. All seemed to give off a sense of foreboding. She began to question herself why. Each could very well have something to hide. The two brothers, for instance. There had to be more to their so called traditions back in their pride than the older one had explained. Perhaps she could get something out of all of them when Simba arrived.

As long as I'm around they won't hurt one little hair on your head or anybody else's head. " Vitani said reaching into the brush and grabbig Kivo in a protective hug.

Tahj looking around stopped to hear of a roar that was so luod that anyone could of not hear that roar and few mintues later another roar sounded the air Tahj looks towards the horizon and ponders" I wonder....." Tahj runs off to find out what the comotion was about and he stepped futher into the brush and finally caught on with the scent it was newcomers that came into the pridelands and the other was a scent that smelled fimilar "hmm..sounds like I have company."

His dark brown rimmed ears twitched violently, his cold green eyes staring behind Nala at the sound of a small, startled voice. Sengalo caught a glimpse of a peach tinted yellow, shuffling around in the grass. He narrowed his eyes suspiciously, clearing his throat.

Nala gave Sengalo a bit of a puzzled look, seeing the sudden coldness coming from him. Her eyes followed his, looking over her shoulder into the grass behind her. She heard the suprised yelp and immediately recognised the voice as Kivoru's. Oh no... she thought lowly. Even if her roar could've been heard for the surrounding mile or so, the old Queen had hoped that the rest of the pride would take no notice of it. With this possible danger, the last thing she wanted were cubs interfering with adult matters.

She quickly took notice of Vitani walking over to the young Prince, hearing her console the cub. She sighed inwardly. That took care of that.

But wait. Nala lifted her gaze to the grassland that lay behind them, seeing a fair colored figure coming towards them. There was only one that she knew that had such light coloring. It was that new cub, Tahj. Nala quickly turned back to the rogues, remembering to never turn your back on strangers. Vitani would handle the cubs, hopefully.

She kept waiting for her King to arrive.

And being different isn't always a bad thing. Trust me you're gonna get too know them and they're gonna seem less weird too you" Aunt Vitani said too the 3 cubs.

Watching Jaha's mate slowly disapear from the group he averted his eyes to the small herd of Zebra in the far distance probably moving about to new areas to graze in.
The shade of the tree he sat down in was slightly cooler than it was out of it; but the heat didn't effect him either way just it was nice to have it out of his eyes for once.

The sudden sound a roar made his ears perk up and look in the direction of Pride Rock wondering what was happening there; he glanced over at Kovu who was looking back at him wondering what was going to happen next.

The sight of another lion by Kovu's side made him raise a eyebrow thinking for a moment wheter or not to do something but Kovu was wise enough and he hadn't done anything so didn't do anything.
His ears perked up and looked back to Pride Rock for a moment before hearing Kovu's voice and looking back in his direction.
He listened to what he had to say before looking at the other lion for a moment as Kovu continued to talk.

"I'll go with the second option" Bomani replied nodding "Not like everyday Nala does this afteral; and well if there is a problem not going to let you get hurt" he smirked "Thats if you'll allow me to go back and see whats happening?" he said questioning awaiting for a answer glancing back towards Pride Rock once more.
"Besides lion sitting wasn't in my job description" he laughed looking ahead still.

He let out a loud roar hoping Nala could catch that herself before looking back at Kovu.
"Haven't done that in a while" he chuckled and smirked.

Makarov pinched his brow and cast a glare upon this so called Bomani. He wasn't an infant, nor did he like being discussed upon in third person.

I do not need babysitting. He spoke stoicaly, with a bit of anger. He didn't want any disposition bewteen he and these other lions however he didn't favor being belittled.
Makarov saw the one whom had spoken to him, run out to the sound of a female's roar. He looked back upon Bomani with a little more dignity and answered the first question.
Name, Makarov. I was lieutenant but no military present, just Makarov.
He studied this other before him, observing his ways. Then he looked away and sat down, as they sought out a way to treat their new guest.

Sengalo's muzzle twitched again at Kivoru's suspicious words to Vitani. Wonderful he thought sickly. Cubs. Sengalo wasn't all too fond of cubs, nor they of him. These new three that showed up were no different. And what's worse, all of them, especially the one with the rather long hair tuft, suspected something of him. His mind racing with tactics and ideas, Sengalo realized how important those cubs were to being accepted into the Prideland pride. Cubs were the liveliehood of the pride. It was normally the case that if the cubs were persistantly untrusting of newcomers, the rest of the pride weren't long to follow. Sengalo lifted his gaze to Vitani, seeing her trying to convince the young lions the otherwise about Sengalo and the rest of the group. Hopefully, she would be the one to take care of that, but he may have to do something just in case.

Nala's head perked when she heard Kivoru's question. She took a glance down at him, blinking. "Well..." she began, thinking of what to tell him, "we'll find that out when your grandfather gets here, all right?" She mustered a small smile down to him, but it quickly disappeared when she heard Sengalo speak up again, his words directed at Vitani and the cubs.

"Don't worry about it, Vitani," the dark lion said with a small, but believable smile, something strangely off for Sengalo. He took a couple of steps forward, getting a better look at the lions he faced. "I get it a lot," he said calmly, "they have every right to find me 'weird,' anyway. I would be, too, if a group of strange lions came to my home, asking to be a part of the pride." He looked back at Zabad, Rac, and Tekua, then down at the cubs. "But you three and whatever other friends you may have don't have anything to worry about. We're not looking for a fight, just a place to stay. Besides..." He turned to his left, letting the cubs see the gaping slashes that ran down his right shoulder. "Even if I was looking to trouble," he continued, stealing another glance at Rac, "I can't. I'm too busted up to even swing this arm very far." It wasn't entirely a lie. Sengalo's arm still pained him, but if he really needed to use it, he wouldn't hesitate to.

Suddenly, both Nala and Sengalo lifted their heads, both hearing yet another roar ring out through the savannah. Sengalo's smile faded, while Nala's grew. "Looks like we'll be getting Bomani over here, too," she thought aloud in a hopeful tone as she stared in the direction the lion's roar came from. With the gaurdian of the pride coming to also assist her, this little predicament should be a breeze.

Tekua raised a brow at the movements Nala had made, and the confidence she had had in her voice when she spoke, his head had turned in the direction of the second roar, it was deep, and loud. He shook his head and in his mind, thoughts, and doubtful feelings had started to form. Had they acted way to fast? Were they even going to live for more than a few more seconds now? What if they failed, what if they succeeded? They hadn't even planned anything yet. Foolish it was for Zabad to just go out and do this all of a sudden without thinking about it for a mere second. He sighed and stood staring into Sengalo's body as he walked around showing off his 'scar' from the previous fight with Rac. And he shook his head not really knowing what to do. So for the time being. He stood there.

He questioned the lioness, Nala about something she said. "Bomani? Who's that .. May I ask?" He said in a rather.. Polite tone of voice, which was awkward to him, and he didn't like the way the words seemed to spill from his mouth. He nuged Rac gently on his side and whispered something into his ear. "You're uncle..? Is it that Bomani or just another lion..?" He asked.

Kovu looked to Bomani with a smirk, and shook his head at the response he gave him. "Well, if you wish to do that, then go ahead my friend. But don't get any ideas with Nala." He said giving him a wink. Sure Bomani was a strong lion, but he was also a pretty damn smart one. But like everyone he sometimes to made mistakes.. But not rarely did he ever do them, just they appeared sometimes. He looked on as he heard his mighty roar ring out across the lands in reply to the previous one Nala had sent out. "You have all my permission to head out, Go get em tiger." He said with a soft smile to the yellow lion.

His head turned back to the lion behind him, and he smirked. "Well at ease soldier, and you won't be having a babysitter.. This time.." He said with a slight smirk. "Don't have to get all militaristic upon me, but I do know how that is like." He said with a soft wink in the direction of Makarov. "My name, is Kovu. I'm the king of these lands and I take it quite seriously to admit certain people into it. "You said you wished to help us, but I don't find it right to let you, seeing I don't know if I can trust you or not. Give me one reason, thats all that I require, that you should be allowed to help us." He said with a sly smirk on his face. He wasn't trying to scare or act intimidating to the lion. But whenever he said that line, it made him have to do it. Just to see if the new comers would back off. In uncertainty that is.

In a way he didn't even trust Vitani there was something about them that made Dani feel awkward being with the outsiders. Yianni meanwhile probably felt the same way Dani did because he hid behind Dani. "Don't worry Pal as long as you're with me nothing bad is ever gonna happen too you I swear".

But the poor cub couldn't help but be scared."What ifffff Sengalo or Another ouuuuttttsider tries too kill me" Yianni cried loudly.

Dani hugs Yianni protectively. "Don't worry no outsider will even consider laying a paw on you not while I'm alive. You're my younger brother Yianni and I'm not gonna let anything happen too you I swear it on my own life" Dani said holding up his right paw in the air like he was testifying in court.

Yianni hugs his brother protectively. Dani always knew what too say when he was feeling bad.

Makarov was not swayed at the authority before him, but alloted a place in his mind that demanded respect. He'd learned that respect may also be an exact translation to 'walking upon like a carpet' to those that did speak any English. These lions did, and Makarov was now weighing what perspective they assembled in.

Soldier... This caught his mind like claws scraping against fine rock. It aggrivated him like so. His eyeswere cast to the King, without any preface to emotion or intimidation.

I am best used in group, not alone. I cannot live alone and be happy. I come offering whatever my skills can provide. It may assist you in hunt, battle or protection. I cannot say where I am from or why I left. I am sure this will place invisable grounds before us but I still offer my alligance to your Pride.
His English may have been clear or not, but from what it looked the King understood. Makarov was older than this King, he'd heard all about him and his background. Did this bother him? Makarov was not bothered, nor inclined to feel superior. But he also knew foolish Kings wore the same crown mighty Kings did, and that he would now have to observe everything.

He did not move from his position, but kept his eyes upon the King and spoke one more. It was not like the Military he'd been birthed from, so he allowed himself freedom of speech against his teachings.

I ask you never call me soldier. Until you've been at my side and seen all your friends die with mine , I will not go by soldier. His tone edged a hint of retort, but not alot. It disturbed him to be called soldier by one who'd not see death like himself.

To you 'militaristic' may be hobby or category other lion falls into. I let you know I do not fall into militaristic, but live military. My style be such not to seperate you and me but because that is all I know for all my life.
He sighed, very silently unto himself, and pricked his ears towards the owner of that while ago call. He then folded them back and removed his firm look and placed it upon other things, still awaiting whatever message the King had to go by.

((Wow... you guys confuse me. First off, I'm wondering how the cubs know Sengalo's name when they just met him and he hadn't even spoke of it for himself, yet. Second, I think Kovu's still somewhere else with Makarov. I find it confusing how Dani and Yianni popped up there suddenly and Kiovu is in two places at the same time.:hmm: I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but I just thought that I'd point that out.:o))

Nala turned from the supposed direction Bomani would be coming from, hearing Tekua's question. She pondered on it for a moment, thinking of what to tell him. "A dear friend of ours," she replied calmly to him with a small smile. She felt it good enough to give only that information.

An ear twitched as Sengalo heard one of the cubs speak up. He stared down at Kiovu, processing through the cub's words. Spunky little thing, wasn't he? "Child," he said with his smile, "of course, I know there will be many heirs after Simba, but what does that have to do with me? Again, we're only looking for a place to rest. Aren't we, boys?" He looked over his shoulder at his "companions," his fake smile turning into a smirk that only they would notice, not really expecting an answer from them.

Sengalo decided not to retort to Kiovu's assumption of him being an Outlander. It was inevitable that they would meet Kovu and if the lion were to recognize Zabad or Sengalo, that lie Zabad had come up with wouldn't work. It would be better not to repeat it to a cub. If that were to turn up, anyway, Kovu wouldn't be able to use it against them, since he had grown up being the livelihood of the Outlanders.

Dani hugs Yianni protectively. "Don't worry no outsider will even consider laying a paw on you not while I'm alive. [Location: A mile from Pride Rock]

He had finally found something to eat. Not anything with prickly spikes on its back or spits at you from a tree, but a long-legged, twisted-horned creature chewing the same piece of hard grass for the last fifteen minutes. That was how long he had waited, patiently watching as the springy grass-eater crept closer and closer. His pelt had been better at cloaking him than he thought. The brown-gold grass easily blended his tan form, the faint stripes only adding to the facade of shadows. His heart thumped like an elephant's trot in his chest and he could barely keep his tail from twitching back and forth. He hadn't blinked for nearly a minute. His concentration was at its peak.

The silver threads of whiskers twitched as the prey came within perfect range. The predator's eyes widened before finally releasing the muscled springs in his legs and shooting forth at the grass-eater. Paws spread out with their black daggers and his yellow-white teeth came to bear, certain that he would easily catch his prey!

WHAP! Hoof met chest as the prey item bolted, leaving the leaping tigon to meet face to dirt. Skidding as his prey leaped off into the distance, the tigon Tariku groaned into the dust at his failure, his hunger, and his pain. Stupid... uh... whatever those things were...

[Kiovu]

"Aunt Vitani was Dad happy the day me and Kivo were born?" *Kivo asked confused* "I bet Mom was really happy, was she?"

[Lion King Stu]

Bomani continued to look over at Kovy awaiting his words to wheter or not he would be heading back to Pride Rock or not; it had been a while since Nala had roared which made him wonder what was going on there. Surely Simba was still at Pride Rock with her; but clearly not it would of appeared.

He listened to Kovu's words and smiled letting out a slight chuckle turning his head away shaking it for a moment; he shuffled his front paws in the grass for a moment before putting his eyes back on Kovu once more.

"No ideas about Nala huh; what can I say...cute lionesses Bomani likes" Bomani laughed "I mean your Kiara is alright as well you know Kovu; don't worry I'm not doing anything there" he winked to him with a smirk on his face.
"Anyway thank you Kovu I'm going to see what assistence Nala requires so I'll see you both later" he nodded taking a few steps before running at a steady pace through the grass back towards Pride Rock.

The sun beat down upon his dark golden brown body as slowly he gained closer home; his black and brown streaked mane flowed backwards as he ran blowing with the wind keeping it out of his eyes.

After several long minutes of steady running he neared Pride Rock increasing his speed slightly thinking of the time elapsed from Nala's roar; if something was up then time was never a good thing as many things could happen in minutes in life and death.

He stopped once more with Pride Rock only being a small distance away thinking if he roared and she roared back then he could put himself in a right state of mind and know what sort of situation it could be.
He took a few more steps and tilted his head up slightly before letting out another loud deafening roar towards Pride Rock.

[Kopa]

Finally after only a few hundred yards, Nala came into view of Simba's sight and what looked to him like a group of rouge lions. As he got closer he tried studying them to see if any looked familiar, none did ( except Vitani). To him none of them looked threatning. He knew he had to cautious though. He came to Nala's side not taking his eyes from the rouges. His eyes had a certain coldness to them when he looked at Sengalo. "What's the situation?" he asked. His ear flicked when a roar sounded through the air, he ignored it.

Nala's ears flicked erect, hearing a voice that she very much welcomed. She looked over her shoulder at Simba, giving a relieved smile to him. "A group of young rogues," she informed calmly, her head facing her mate, but her eyes also on the newcomers, "they're looking for a place to stay and I suppose they want it to be us." She was glad to see Simba finally arrive. The moments without him by her side seemed to have dragged on.

Her ears perked again at Bomani's second roar. "And Bomani is on his way, too," she added to Simba. The lion's call was now a search call, asking where she was. It would've been best for her to reply. She turned slightly away from those gathered, lifting her head into the air to let out another roar, though this one was a bit softer, more like a chuff. She didn't want to blow out her voice before she got a chance to get to know these strangers a bit more.

Sengalo lifted his head slightly as he saw Simba emerge from the sea of grass into their view. They locked eyes for a moment as the former King looked them over for a moment. The dark lion felt static between that stare, suspicious vibes coming from Simba. Sengalo held back his deep urges to finally dig his claws into that golden flesh, but covered it with a small smile and a nod of acknowledgement. He looked to the others again, watching for their reactions in encountering the Pridelander. It would either make them or brake them.

[Kiovu]

*Kiovu runs over and pounces his Grand Father * "Hey Grandpa it seems like it's been forever since I seen you." *Kiovu nibbles on his Grand Fathers ears*

[Lion King Stu]

His ears perked up hearing Nala's chuff roar coming from Pride Rock; he shot a look at the massive rock structure which was only a small running distance away. Once more he took a few steps speeding up slightly into a fast run feeling the muscles stretch slightly with every stride he took.

After a few moments he arrived at the foot of Pride Rock and slowly clamberd up the rock steps slowly as not to slip or fall down; the rock felt colder than normal even with the full blast of the sun blazing down upon it.
"Something must be up" he said quietly to himself thinking for a moment as he stalled on a rock close to the top before shurgging and making him way to the last few steps to the promotory slope and the prides den getting full sight of a group of lions; some he knew while others he didn't.

He slowly padded across the rock over towards Nala and Simba ignoring the group of rogues for a moment bowing his head to Simba before padding to near Nala's side bowing his head to her before raising it.
"I came as soon as I heard the roar Nala. Kovu's sorting something out at the moment and suggested I come back" he said with a slight smile "What seems to be problem?" he questioned looking over towards the group of rogues that sort of surronded Nala with curiousness and lack of trust unsheating his claws slightly.
"They aren't bothering you are they?" he questioned looking the group of rogues over before throwing a glance back at Nala before looking back at the group.

[Tahj]

Tahj knew something is not right it would be best to keep his mouth shut. to him about Sengalo however, he felt a sickness of butterflies in his stomach, he knew he was hiding something and Tahj was going to find out soon enough. Tahj watched a few feet away from Nala making sure that she or anyone else woundn't get hurt, he may have spunk but he never backs down from a fight even though he hates fighting." I'm not liking this." Tahj said talking to himself hoping no one heard him even though he's quiet at times.

Hunting Grounds

The tan creature moaned once more into the dust before lifting his head. Gold eyes lazily lifted open to greet the yellow grass before him, moving his small paws to press against the ground and lift his lioness-sized body. He hung his head for a long moment to cope with the dying pain in his chest, then shook out the dust from his fur, the strange metal collar around his neck weighing down on him.

Sighing at the miss of a meal, the tigon turned his body left and right as his nose went to work. Air filtered in and deciphered into the smells of a typical African land, including the promise of nearby water. Tariku poked his nose in the direction of the smell and loped off through the thick grass. If he couldn't eat, he'd fill his gullet with water.

Water Hole

Pushing through the grass, Tariku sighed in relief at the sight of the water. Paws sank into the mud, head shoving his small muzzle into the water and inhaling it like a fish. After drinking for as long as he could hold his breath, the tigon lifted his dripping chin and looked around the area.

The shadows of some type of creatures loomed nearby. Not at the shores, but near the little pond. Curiousity spawned from a lion's social nature, overshadowing the tiger's snarls of independance, kept Tariku's eyes on the group. Hmm.. They looked familiar...

[Might as well explain my stuffs. I post where my character is to reduce confusion, and the letters in bold are characters I am referring to, talking to, noticing, etc. Yanno.. just so ya know.]

[Katse]

Nala turned her head when she heard Bomani. "Not exactly," she said, eyes following him as he stepped up next to her and Simba, then letting them rest on the rogues again. "They say that they're new to the Pridelands and wish to take up shelter with us," she repeated for the newly arriving lion. She took a side step closer to Simba, body language for only him to know that she was glad he was here. She felt safer with Bomani, as well, and gave a light nod to him.

Sengalo watched calmly as this new lion arrived. He lowered his gaze slightly to see the lion begin to unsheathe his claws. His brow lowered ever so slightly, then he looked back up into Bomani's gaze again. "We don't mean any harm by our intrusion, sir Bomani," he said calmly, turning his head down slightly in a bow, "as it has already been said, we're only looking for a place to stay and rest. We've all had a long journey and your hospitality is well known beyond your borders." He offered another believable smile of his, but writhing on the inside that the other rogues were now making now motion to so much as acknowledge Simba and Bomani.

[Lion King Stu]

Bomani continued to look at the group of rouges that stood a few feet in front of him; he continued to keep cautious at the keeping his claws unsheated but made no movement keeping himself near the front of both Nala and Simba.
As Nala spoke he looked back at her raising his eyebrows to what she had to say about the rouges being new and seeking shelter in the Pridelands; he noticed her get closer to Simba and giving him the nod. Thoughts went through his mind making him wonder if maybe she as well thought that something was up; but with Rogues it was always a 50/50.
Slowly Bomani turned his head and looked back over at the group once more keeping quiet as he looked at each of the group thinking for a moment.

Before he knew it one of the rouges in the group finally spoke making Bomani look directly over at him putting all interest in seeing what the lion had to say.
He listend to the lion looking him over all the time doing so shuffling his paws on the rock sheathing his claws; feeling concerned about the rouges but seeing no clear threat. The smile made him feel unsure all the worse and meerly nodded as he finished speaking looking back at Nala and Simba with a unsure look on his face but trying to hide it from the rouges silently mouthing 'I'm not sure'.
Suddenly the pain from old neck wound started making his vision go blurry like it did every now and then making him let out a soft growl clamping a paw on the old scar on his neck for a moment.

[Prince_Kivoru]

Kivoru sits back and stays silent for a moment, he glanced at these 'outsiders' as his little brother would call them. He was knocked out of his thoughts when his grandfather came up to Nala, Kivo smiled to Simba and bowed "Hello grandfather..." he said formally.

The young prince minded his manners and just wathced the adults, not long before his long attention span was shortened by pure boredem.

[Kiovu]

*Kiovu lls his Grand Parents he'll be right back and then go's and pounces Kivo* "Hey Bro this is kinda boring huh,just sitting here waiting for Dad,Grand Mother and Grand Father to make a decision on these out landers." "only if Mom was here then we wouldn't be so bored." *Kiovu sighs*

Kovu listened to the rogue lions words, he seemed rather ticked at him for playing just a friendly gesture upon him. But normally all would if that comment was aflicted upon them in the wrong way. "No harm my friend, I'll refraim from using the term soldier upon you, and need not worry. I do not need to aquire such information from you, only needed your uses to the Pride." Kovu said with a soft smile. He looked once more over the lion, he had been through a lot, and would possibly provide very useful skills to the Pride. "Then shall be it, Welcome to the lands my friend." He said with the same friendly smile planted firmly on his face.

"...And we were just about to grab us a lunch before we had a slight intrusion, being you, but thats all okay. You could help us nonetheless, Right?" He questioned Makarov as he turned back around looking towards the herd that was before them

Tekua's ears perked as he heard the pawsteps of another creature coming nearer to them, and it seemed to be the mate of the lioness, Nala. His eyes adverted from the approaching creature and to Sengalo and the rest of the game to see what they were to do, and noticed their reactions, then to his own advantage, he bowed politely to the new lion, which was named Simba. Thanks to Nala saying his name, or at least that was what he hoped that was who he was(wow that hardly makes any sense) His head was dipped to the yellow lion, and then brung it back up.

"Yes, as previously stated, we are only here for protection...Food, and contribution to the Pride. We are merely rogues of another land, and wish to join. Though if you see fit that we are to not stay here... Then I shall leave peacefully, and the rest probably will too.." Tekua said, lying straight into the yellow lions face, but who would care. He wouldn't know if he was telling the truth or not. If they werent allowed to stay, their target was right here. They could just take him now. Then the roar of another lion came, and he remained calm, his eye brow lifting up slightly in question as to who the owner of that voice was. Then his answer was quickly answered as another lion showed up before the groupe again. Great... More company he thought to himself as he watched the lion join Nala and Simba.

"Hello kind sir" he said with a calm and slightly cheerful voice, something he regretted dearly. But the more he played it out, the easier it would be for him to look innocent. He took note of the lion as Nala repeated why the rogues were here and that they only wanted to take refuge, and took note upon what Sengalo was doing, for he was a lot smarter then he was. Lots.. Hmm.. He's Bomani then.. Why's everyone yellow. I'm so left out being red(I just HAD to do something stupid, so bored :idiot: )) He also dipped his head in respect to this new lion also, just as he had done with both Nala and Simba before hand.

"We only.. Want to join the Pride.." he said with another smile on his face, and then noticed Bomani's unsheathing of his claws, he took that as a sign of untrusthworthiness, something that was not a good sign. But he had just got here so all would do that if they saw a group like themselves coming out of no where, and that would soon change if they played their cards right, and as he had previously thought. It happened, his claws were sheathed and a soft, barely audible sigh escaped his lips. Then he noticed Bomani's faint gesture of pain, and the movement of his paw to his neck and took that as a sign of weakness,

his neck, an area I should remember.. Just incase... He thought to himself once again. "We aren't really.. Getting anywhere here now.. May I ask, what we have to do to be accepted? A trial? or task of some sort? or do you all just.. Allow creatures in upon like a conference... A talk to get to know each other better... I'm slightly curious" he said with an eager smile upon his face. If I ever have to do this again.. I will make note to kill myself afterwards He repeated in his mind.

Water Hole

The distant figures didn't offer much of a sight after all. Sighing from the boredom plagueing his mind and the obvious hunger in his belly, the lightly-striped creature lapped up the last bit of water before turning his body and trotting off into the tall grass again. He remembered some kind of roar - a roar that sounded much like his mother's - coming from the west. Deciding to follow that noise, he pointed his nose west and loped off.

Near Pride Rock

The tigon had long left the tall grasses and now padded through green meadows spotted with trees few and far between. A rock under the shade of one of these trees offered a nice cool perch, the tan lioness-sized feline hopping up on it and glancing toward the huge rock fixture that rose tall and proud before him. He had never seen such a huge structure before! Standing there open-jawed for a moment, Taiku blinked his eyes and looked toward the bottom grounds. That roar came from somewhere around here...

Daring to try his luck, the hybrid opened his mouth of yellowed teeth and gurgled a bit, then released the most unusual lion roar to grace the Pride Lands. It sounded off in tone, the message probably mixed, and it cut off too abruptly. Tariku's skin blurred red under his fur. That was pathetic... Flattening his ears in embarressment, the tigon settled down on the rock and awaited an answer.

"I'm game, I could use some compitition" Tahj with a smirk" yeah, where should we race to?" Tahj waiting a for Kiovu to respond.

As the yellow lion could see Simba approching over the hill, he quickly turned his gaze to the ground pretending to be studing a bug or something, his mane consealing his face. Rac kept his ears raised able to hear what the lions where talking about, yet he decided to keep silent until someone asked him a question; which he hoped never happend.

As Rac heard his fathers voice speak up, he felt a strange pain inside as if it urged him just to lungh(sp?) at the fromer King, but he kept it back with all his might, a silent sigh escaped him as he kept his stare at the grass trying to avoid Simba's gaze until he was forced to look up.

Thoughts raced through his head, What if they failed, What if Simba's reconition of him would spoil their plan? No he couldn't think like that.. Rac gently shock his head pretending to get rid of flies that have enterd his ears.

Dani ran as fast as he could. He was pretty fast for a cub like him when he was younger he had made a few friends with Cheetah cubs and Dani had learned alot from them. Dani caught up with the 2 other cubs. "Hey guys"

Simba was silent for what seemed like hours to him but were only minutes in reality (hope that made since oo ) He scanned the rouges again before saying anything, which was when he came upon Rac. Funny he thought, that he hadn't recognized this lion at first but now something seemed familiar. He was about to say something to him, when Bomani showed up. Simba nodded respectfully at him and then turned his head back towards the rouges. He went over in his mind the situation and something to say. He wasn't sure if he wanted rouges in the Pridelands. When Tekua spoke up he thought about a little more. He starred at Sengalo for a moment. A cold chill ran down his back. He shook it off and finally said, " Well to tell you the truth....I'm really not confortable with letting complete strangers stay in my homelands, I mean some of you seem harmless and yet some of you don't." He looked at Sengalo when he said don't.
He paused for a minute when his eyes yet again came upon Rac. This lion looked so familiar but yet he couldn't put his paw on it. He scratched an ich on his muzzle. "Honestly I'd like to say 'Welcome to the Pridelands.' but I feel I should ask Kovu about this since I no longer rule these lands." He fell silent while still taking glances at Rac, trying to figure out why he looked familiar.

[Avalon]

Rac could feel that his father was looking at him, thus the yellow lion narrowed his eyes as he kept his stare at the ground, his breath was now heavier but not enough to attract notice of any kind. Rac was getting nervous from the feeling of getting watched, as he heard his father adress the other rouges; Welcomeing them, he utterd a silent sigh of relife.

But as Simba finished his speaking the stinging pain in Rac's chest returned now with greater forced. A barely audible groan escaped his maw, and he was haveing a trouble keeping from gaining eye contanct with the former king. "It's like forceing me to look up!! Rac thought to himself as the pain in his chest presisted.

The yellow lion then closed his eyes, and turned his head towards Simba, lifting it revealing his face. His light blue eyes meet the deep brown eyes of the former king. The young lion kept an emotionless face as he stared back at Simba. "Reconise me, father??" Rac thought still keeping his eyes locked with the former king.

It was a barrier of anger, rage, sorrow, and vengeful eyes. Everyone was treated like this by him, for if he failed in that duty his very heart would be broken. It was all he ever knew.

He was a part of them now. His soul, his actions would affect everyone about him and the pride itself. Each played a key role. He wanted to come close with this leader, and form some form of bond. He always wanted this. But the leaders of his kind were just as he; cold and cruel on the outside, with powerful leadership. They never broke down and got one on one with the troops. It was a fuzzy boundary required in leadership. However, Makarov had been ages into leadership, and now he was a trooper again. The leadership of a pride is very different. It is not militant or demanding, but caring and supportive of all interests. It was going to be difficult for him to adjust.
First, observe the leader Makarov. Then know him from his actions. Then show him you are willing and wanting a good union. In time, it will become good.

Makarov awaited the order to form and hunt. Chances are they did not hunt like him. Maybe they could learn a thing or too, and he learn a thing or two from them. He always wanted it to be a good experience, but he expressed the exact opposite; as if either mattered to him. In truth, he cared very much for everything before him.
He sat upright and sighed deeply, concentrating on all these thoughts and questions flooding into his mind and soul. He shook his head lightly, and adjusted his hat. Looking away from Kovu, he studied the winds and their paths. They carried themselves into the west, blowing from the East, gently and at some points strongly.

We go by East da? Into wind, no smell.

He turned back upon Kovu and spoke helpfully, perhaps with a stoic tone. Nevertheless, he wanted to be of positive assistance in the end. He was not fearful or shy, and perhaps that would aid him here.

Any specific formation? We go in group. Come from wing one, two, and attack? Or one unit?
He wanted this to be creative. But knowing from his life before this pride, as a leader, it was the leader?s ultimate decision in the end. It was the troops role to obey and provide the strength behind the mind. Makarov enjoyed his troops pitching ideas in every now and then, but he would ultimately teach them it was his role. Kovu was Makarov?s leader now, and two heads butting against one would not help. So, he would be the trooper with advice, and Kovu would be the ultimate decision no matter the advice in the end.

((Sorry for a very late reply here. Sorta getting back into my old RP mood once more so going to make the most of it once more)).

For a few moments he clamped the paw tight against his neck shaking his head trying to get the vision back to normal. He knew that wasn't a very smart thing to show any sort of weakness especially to a group of rouges with any sort of bad hidden motive against the pride. The pain came on sharp and sudden then slowly dulled away; why did he still get the pains and the blurryness after all this time since he got it in the first place.

He placed his paw back onto the ground trying to show no more weakness as it slowly drifted away into nothing; his vision remained slightly blurry still but not as bad as it was a moment ago being able to focus on the group after a few blinks.
He swore the group of rogues had noticed what had just happened which made him feel no easier about the situation they were still in; he was to protective to see sometimes if they were just genuine lions looking for a place. But on the other paw they could be just that sort of type.

He listened to what one of them had to say about getting into the pride; he knew he would have to keep a eye upon them either way the situation swang. He turned his head over to Nala and Simba to see what they had to say about the situation since he had no authority over making such a decision.

"What do you think?" he questioned looking at Nala before putting his glance on Simba.

Kivoru sighed and looked to his overly energetic friends, "ok ok let's do this..." he murmured getting alittle impatient. Like his father. The young cub pushed the long hair away from his right eye and and stared off into the distance. When Kivo heard the signal he didn't hesitate to start off as fast as he could, he dashed through the grass, leaped a rock, and flipped over a bush. He was very athletic for a cub his age.

He smiled to his little brother when he caught up to him, then stuck his tounge out, "Second born, second place!!" he taunted as he ran past.

Near Pride Rock

Not a single answer. No chuffs, no roars, no howls... Nothing. Was this place dead? The black lips of the beast tugged downward. Maybe it was a mistake to come here... He just didn't belong in this "wild". He had liked staying with his mother and father in their big grassy enclosure, playing and eating when they wanted. This place was so hostile and different. Had he grown up spoiled? Or just uneducated?

The tawny tigon tick-tacked a claw on the rock's edge, like a woodpecker burrowing in for a home. He was pretty much lost on what to do. Hunting didn't seem to go well, and socialization wasn't on the top of his list either [after all, elephants and rhinos weren't exactly talkative to him]. With his tail twitching idly behind him, Tariku lowered his head onto his paws and released a long sigh.

He let his ears take in the world around him. A distant bird chirping, grazers on the horizon, and the subtle rising of heat on the plains. It all seemed so... dead to him. Sighing again, the small tigon lowered his ears- and perked them back up. Voices? Out here? Lifting his head high again, the expectant feline searched for the origin of the sounds. In the distance, he could just make out the little bodies of a few small somethings. A chuff escaped his nostrils as he stood up and padded down from the rock, loping off toward the group of cubs[?].

He knew not to mess with babies. A mother zebra about kicked his brains out for trying to take her young foal, so a predator's offspring wouldn't be the wisest to take. And cannibalism just didn't seem like him. The tigon approached with a loping step, his head high and his tail slithering like a snake behind him. Curiosity was on his mind, and he didn't take the time to look out for any adults on the prowl.

Nala gave a pained look to Bomani in return for his mouthing of 'I'm not sure," her expression giving that she was thinking, 'neither am I.'


Sengalo raised his scarred brow on his otherwise emotionless face at seeing Bomani suddenly let out a soft, pained growl. There must've been some injury the lion had endured, in his neck by the looks of it. Good. Sengalo would log the weakness for future reference.

Quickly turning his attention from Bomani, Sengalo watched as Tekua also gave their intentions. "Yes," he added smoothely, eyeing the royals again with a half smile, "we're willing to do your whatever it is you wish to prove ourselves worthy of this pride. Just name it."


Nala cast another glance up at Simba upon hearing two of the rogues give their willingness to prove themselves. However, now something else new caught her attention. A rather odd sounding roar echoed through the area, one she had never heard before. It sounded lionine, and yet it didn't. /Another/ newcomer? The Pridelands must've been more well known than she thought. "I'll check out who that was, Simba," she whispered to her mate, "I won't be long." Trying to leave without being noticed, the lioness backed aways from the group, not taking her eyes off any of the lions. When she was at a fair distance, Nala turned, beginning to trot in the direction of the strange roar.


"That's understandable," Sengalo said to Simba as he spoke his thoughts of rogues in the lands. Repeatedly feeling suspicious eyes on him from the Pridelanders, Sengalo was beginning to feel that it would be more difficult for him to get into the pride than the others. "I'll be happy to do you bidding in whatever way possible to gain your trust, my liege," he continued, turning his head down slightly.

The dark lion noticably perked at hearing talk of Kovu now being King. Interesting... he mused with a small sneer. "Very well," he spoke up after a short silence, black tassled tail swishing behind him, "is there any way to find this new King?"

Nala picked up her pace as this new smell became stronger and stronger. Along her way, she had seen the cubs race off to the water hole. Though she didn't say anything to catch their attention, the lioness noted that she had to follow them some time.

She suddenly came to a stop to find a rather large looking feline in the distance. The strange scent and roar must've come from him, for Nala had never seen such a creature. She raised a thin eyebrow, taking slow steps towards him. She cleared her throat authoritively, words not coming to her as of yet.

Kovu looked in the direction of which Jaha had wandered off to, not sure what or where he was going to go so he persistantly followed the Adolescent, one of the reason's being. He didn't find it possible to hunt buffalo, by yourself. He came up by the young lions side and nudged him gently,

"Trying to escape me Jaha?" He said with a smirk, looking away from him and to the direction of Pride Rock, looking for what might be a clue of what to do next.

Tekua kept a straight face as he looked into the eyes of the Pride Landers, havn't said his piece of information, which he souly wished would be enough to get them to allow their acceptance, and being into the Pride Lands. His gaze turned to that of the yellow lion, His musclular form was one to adhere to. But on second glance, he noticed he was struggling, fighting against something.. And his eyes.. Were somewhat, hazy.. He had noticed that the lion bore a huge marking on his neck, probably an old battle wound, but it must have been getting to his head an taking over his body some way or another.

A smirk came to his face, but he kept it to look like a friendly one so he didn't give himself away, and kept in his mind, a mental note.. the lion's weakness, or so he hoped would be it, His neck obviously but even more so now that it had a marking such as Bomani's.

"Again I ask the question.. What must we do..." He said giving a stern look to the other lions, to show that he meant business, and was ready to do whatever it took to show their, so called trust..

Chuki had wandered away from the Pridelands. She felt uncomfortable in the presence of the pridelanders now that they hade decided that her father was dead. She thought about the incident about her father that happened and for a moment her heart was filled with bitterness towards all pridelanders, but she was so confused, she still remembered the day when Scar died and the last thing she saw was Hyenas attack her dad and her mother walk up to Simba. She was so small and the situation seemed to confuse her and after the pridelanders and outlanders joined together her mother never said anything about it.

He slowly managed to reach a tree and sit under it`s shade. He had been lurking round Priderock, he had come to confirm the rumours that Kovu had become ruler, he was satisfied, at the fact that he beacame ruler and the fact that he had got part of his name, Scar.

Sakura walked towards the egde of the pridelands. She looked back on the world and remembered her memories. She shone a smile and then slowly paced away with a smile. "Good bye Pride Lands" she said to herself as a tear fell from her eye and rolled down her cheek.

Bookisi walked slowly towards pride rock and looked back to where she had come from. As she spotted a dark cave, She thought of her past and how she's survive the attack that happened many years ago. She shuddered at the thought. The cave reminded her of the attack that happened many years ago. She remembered being looked after as a cub and being hidden away with a couple of others that didn't do as they were told as the stampede before the attack took place. She was hidden away and had learnt to find for herself with a little bit of help from other animals. She shuddered again and looked up towards pride rock. 'Kovu has to be around there somewhere' she thought to herself as she begin pacing up the rock.

Near Pride Rock

Tariku stopped in his tracks at the sound too close for comfort. Before he could even reach the cubs, the tigon turned his wide-eyed gaze back toward the new lioness coming his way. Ohhh snap. Mommy came a-callin'.

He didn't say anything for now, just hunkered his body down to the earth and flattened his ears in a submissive gesture. Ticking off Mommy wasn't the best choice within any species, especially with cubs so close. His best choice was to just back off slowly, in which he did with a little hard footwork. Paws scrabbled clumsily so close to his lowered chest, trying to be slow though he wanted to get away fast in case an attack was coming his way. However, a misstep and an over-confident move landed the tigon in a leg-twister on the ground.

Blinking through the cloud of dust, Tariku still watched Nala closely. At least there were now roars, fangs, or claws yet coming his way...

Nala raised a thin brow at the cat's rather clumsy display. She remained in her spot for now. He looked like he didn't want any trouble nor did he look as... suspicious as the others that were at Priderock today.

"Ahh..." she began a bit hesitant as she gave a bit of a confused expression. "Could I help you with something... sir," she asked, eyeing the large feline. Certainly a unigue creature, indeed. The cat looked like and lion and yet he didn't. There was a scent on him that was very unfamiliar to her, since there was no such things as tigers in Africa.

Kovu left the hunting grounds, deciding to give up breakfast for the morrow, and headed his way back to Pride Rock, for the call earlier was still fresh in his mind, and he hadn't a clue what was going on either. And thus was why he needed to get back as soon as possible. He sped up from his trotted run into a full out dash, his paws thundering across the plains as he headed his way to his home. Until he saw figures of what seemed to leonine, and then a familiar.. and unfamiliar scent coming in as the wind blew unto him.

"Nala.. and... Someone" he whispered to himself as he started to slow down the pace in which he ran. Walking slowly closer to the scene of Nala and the stranger. Until he noticed something he'd never seen before..

The stranger wasn't lion.. Cheetah, or leopard, To be honest.. Kovu didn't know what it was, He walked up a bit closer and gave a gruff cough, trying to get attention adverted to him as he saw Nala, apparently she had asked something for the creature looked as if he was going to speak.

"Is there a problem here Nala?" Kovu asked affirmatively(sp?)

As if his luck couldn't get any worse, another figure appeared in his line of sight - and this one was a male. The tigon quickly climbed to his feet, deciding to just plant his rear in the ground and take whatever was coming at him. Thankfully, all that came at him were questions and strange looks. Well, he was use to the looks, but questions for him? Not often did he hear that.

All he could offer for Nala was a shake of his head. No, she couldn't help him with anything. He was just... there, with cubs that she was probably going to protect if he tried anything suspicious. Well then, Tariku, better not act suspicious! The sandy feline looked up at Nala like a youngster, ears still pinned to his skull and a forepaw prodding the earth nervously. His faintly-striped tail curled tightly around his left hind leg like a security blanket. Finally turning from Nala and looking to the male lion, Tariku bobbed his head in a small greeting, figuring him the one in control.

Despite the tension, Tariku felt a bit safe in their presence. A genetic urge to socialize and be in a group. It was a strange feeling mingled with another that just wanted them to go away. However, he listened to the first inclination and stayed put as he awaited what kind of fate they would give him.

Bookisis rose from the cave she had been nappuing in and to her suprise, She saw Kovu not far away! Bookisi leaped up with a grin on her face, She thought it would of been harder to find him, She started walking towards him and then stopped suddenly! She saw a female & some other strange species unsure of what was happening she decided it would not be the best of time to Introduce herself to Kovu who she'd heard so much about. Instead she watched them like a hawk whilst pinning her ears back to see if she could pick up on what was being said.

Alex sat the in the den still getting over the death of his mate.

He had watched Kovus rule with great joy. Knowing that Scars nightmare was truly over.On the odd occasion he visited the pride-lands while Shona was alive. He would cry himself to sleep of what the pride-lands had become.

But now the land was returned to normal.

Alex walked out of the den looking for an other male to talk to about Shonas death.

Alexs mate had passed away a few weeks back in Nairobi Kenya's capital. From cancer of the spine.

Upon Shona's death he packed up his life as a park wardons pet and returned to the pride-lands away from the humans. Especially the human who was now in prison that left her for dead and unable to survive in the wild. She had been shot in the back severing her spinal cord leaving her a paraplegic.

Alex was watching his twin cubs John and Sarah play.

It was time to look for some food for the pride. He had missed the morning hunt but hunger drew him out to look for something to eat.

Alex hadn't known most of the pride for long but he knew he could trust them with his cubs while he went out to hunt.

He walked up to Kovu and Nala.

The death of shona still showed on his face.

Now completley oblivious to everything else, Simba's eyes widened when he saw Rac's face completely. He couldn't believe it...No it can't be... He wasn't sure what to do. He kept enough sense to keep an emotionless face on him. He had to be sure so he took a few steps toward Rac...then a few more until he was only inches from Rac's face.


"I can't believe it...." was all he managed to say. Then as if the emotionless barrier on him broke a warm smile spread over his muzzle. He looked deep into Rac's blue eyes as if searching for an answer to something...

Alex tried to speak to the king but only a sigh came out of his mouth. It was obvious to everyone now that Alex was really grieving his mates loss.

Since the death of shona. Alex hadn't allowed him self to grieve for her because He had to get himself and his cubs back to the pride-lands.

But now he was home he was really feeling the grief of her loss. But under all this sadness he knew he had to pull himself through these tough times.

Alex tried again to speak but all he could manage was Shona's name.

Rac didn't budge as the former king stepped towards him, only stop inches from his face. The yellow lion kept his emotionless face, not moveing a muzzle he just stared likewise back at Simba. Rac's eyes narrowed slightly as he heard Simba's words, they clearly shone of disbelife. "It's true father.. I am back!" the young lion said with a monotone voice as Simba's emotionless face broke into a warm smile, Rac mustred a small grin of his own, he even contained it through the imense pain in his chest, and he also managed to supress the urge to slash out after Simba, the former king unlegimate son just stared back at his father, in the moment of silence it seemd that the world itself had stopped. The two lions gazed at eachother, one with a grin, the other with a warm smile..

The warm smile melted from Simba's face. He sensed something that chilled him about Rac, though he never let it show. A more serious look took the place of that warm smile which had vanished. He took in a deep breath and then slowly exhaled. He still couldn't believe that Rac had returned. I thought I'd never see him again. A feeling of sorrow seemed to escape with that exhale. Simba never took his eyes away from Rac's. With a calm and serious voice he said, "I wish to speak with you in a more private area. The choice is yours whether or not you decide to follow."

Simba completely ignored everyone else in the cavern and walked outside....

Nala's attention quickly snapped to Kovu as soon as she heard him approach. She visibly relaxed to see him finally show up. She offered a small smile to him, nodding her head once as a greeting.

At the new King's question, Nala looked back to Tariku. She couldn't help but let her expression soften. The poor cat looked a bit confused and nervous. She didn't feel any of the bad vibes with him. He looked just about as lost as a cub. She gave a motherly smile to the large hybrid, the looked back up at Kovu.

"Not here," she said calmly with a shake of the head, "but there may be a situation closer to Priderock. A group of rogues have shown up, wanting to speak with you."

Sengalo watched with suspicious eyes as Simba singled out Rac, walking towards him as if the others here didn't exist. There was something about the look in the old King's eye, as if remembering something. Sengalo's darkly rimmed ears perked forward, curiousity peaked by this.

The words that were exchanged between the two took Sengalo aback. Whoa, wait, what?! Simba's son? How was that possible? There was another cub other than Kiara? And Sengalo had gone all this time without even knowing?

He blinked disbelievingly, but held back a sudden urge to take a swipe at this other forgotten prince. He watched as the two lions walked off, possibly seeking a more secluded area to get reacquainted(sp?). Sengalo padded closer to Tekua, not taking his eyes off of the two yellow lions as they disappeared. "That was... unexpected," he managed to say to the other lion.

Rac's face changed from grin to a slient smile, in the corner of his eye the young lion could see Sengalo's look of disbelife and suprise. A the small grin reappeard on Rac's face as a gesture to Sengalo. Looking back at the former king hearing his words the yellow lion shruged slightly as he turned away from the others and followed his father out the cave. For a more private conversation. He seem changed... why is he happy to see me, I-I thought he hated me.. Rac tought to himself as he followed behind Simba, his head slightly lowered as his gaze focused on the ground, occationally glanceing up at Simba, it was clear that the young was in deep thought..

An ear swiveled in Alex's direction as she heard him, her head following. He had been so quiet and she had been so wrapped up in the hybrid newcomer and Kovu that she didn't realize he was there. She offered a nod to the lion and a gentle grin. She had heard of what happened to his mate. His moping was a dead give away, as well.

"A group of 4 or so young males," she replied, her answer directed at Kovu as well as she glanced at him, "two claim to be from a pride that worshipped Scar. The others I'm not so sure. They're all requesting to stay with us." She paused, thinking over what she had said, brow lowering slightly. "Simba and Twilight are with them right now," she continued in an affirmative tone, "but they need you, Kovu, before any decisions are made."

Alex had no time for Scar's memory for two reasons. Scar killed Mufassa who was the closest thing Alex had to a father. The lion that literally took him from a skin and bones young adolescent. To an adult, father of two and a feared hunter.

The other reason was for depriving Simba of a father and a real cubhood as Alex saw it.

Alex couldn't stand the fact that this evil lion was worshiped.

"Kovu I'll come with you and lend my support to keep the piece. If they are anything like the Scar I knew they would do anything to gain power. You need to watch out for them Kovu and keep your wits about you." Alex said Still moping a bit.

Alex was the size and build of Mufassa with the same gentle kind heart. He was the sort of lion that would help anyone in the pride-lands who would ask him.

Near Pride Rock

With his body hunkered down on all four paws, the tigon watched the two royals quietly. A third appeared, only to set off a conversation, a conversation he kept out of. Like a cub, he watched with an interest, though he knew not what they spoke of. Still, it sounded important, so he didn't ask.

The rounds of his ears slowly unfolded from his skull, turning his eyes back to where the cubs were for a moment. They had been the reason he came over here, and he severely hoped the 'rents weren't all that angry. The lioness didn't seem too concerned, which was good. Females seemed less violatile than the males. Turning his sights back to the three felines, the smaller hybrid of a tiger/lion bonding pinned his ears back again and waited for any kind of confirmation that he was going to be okay.

Alex smiled his gentle smile at the tigron. Alexs nature was one of trust.

Alex had time to think about what he had just said.

"Kovu I really really hope I'm wrong and they are not like Scar in any way." Alex continued to Kovu.

Alex respectfully nodded his head and sat down next to Nala and Tariku.

Alex turned to Tariku.

"How long have you been in the pride? I only got back myself two weeks ago.

Alex then noticed the concern Tariku had on his face.

"Tariku I lost Mufassa my adopted father to Scar. Mufassa took me in as his own and tort me how to survive. This was before Simba was born. Mufassas heart was as big as the pridelands. He was the most gentle gient I have ever known.

I guess I'm still getting over his loss as well as Shona's and I only found out of his death when I returned to the pride-lands.

I'm like you in a way but I will leave that story for later." Alex continued.

"there has to be someone around here somewhere" she thought to herself as she headed towards the water hole for a drink.

Chuki quietly crept behind Priderock. When she reached a tree she just stared at Priderock and sighed. She didnt want to be there anymore. Suddenly she heard some noise, rustling leaves, she got up and looked around,'Who are you and what are you doing here?'

A dark figure formed and there was a voice that said,'Iam the royalty and i am here to claim my lands.' The figure stepped foward and it was clear who he was.'i am Scar, listen cub, you tell anyone you saw me and i shall kill you!'

Chuki stepped foward,'Father?' Scar looked at herwith a confused expression,'What are you talking about?' Chuki went up to him with tears in her eyes,'It`s me dad, Chuki..' Scar looked at her with widend eyes,'No, I cant believe it, i thought you had been killed.' chuki brightened up and said with a wide smlie,'Well im not that weak,o happened to be your daughter.' Scar smiled at her and then asked,'Where`s your mother and why arent you with the rest of the lionesses?' Chuki replied with sudden bitterness,'I dont know she must be with all the lionesses and i dont feel i should be there.' Scar didnt want to upset her so he changed the topic,'Can you hunt? how about getting your old father some food?' She looked at him and smiled,'No problem i`ll be back in a while, stay here and don`t let anyone see you.'

Near Pride Rock

Those gold-flecked eyes only stared at each in turn, confusion written over his lightly-striped face. Something important indeed. Even some attention was put on him as the second male began to speak to him. The tigon only listened silently, wearing a face of curiosity and slight understanding. At the question of being part of the pride, the hybrid only shook his head in disagreement. He had only recently been plopped into the Pride Lands, evidence tracing over his neck in the form of a radio tracking collar. He was part of no pride.

The only information he gained from the lion was that this Scar fellow was evil. A foster father lost. The newcomer did not know either of them, or of any current events. And how could the second lion know they were alike? They had only just met. Perhaps his timid outlook was revealing more than he wanted...

Bobbing his ruffled head in a simple gesture of understanding, Tariku glanced back to the first lion and the lioness. They seemed awfully quiet, and it was making him nervous. Something big must be up, and the poor tigon had stumbled right into the middle of things.

Kovu looked to Nala as she spoke to him, his eyes continued over to stare at the Tigon, He was so curious about what he was, It WAS nothing you would see everyday, however the thing that caught him was how he could have lion and tiger like appearances, and mostly the question kept running over in his mind, What to do with him.

Kovu cleared his throat and put his paw on the ground affirmatively, to show some power in his speech and actions. He looked to Nala, and said in a calm, playful like voice.

"Does he talk?"

Kovu then looked to the lion that appeared somewhat magically behind Nala, He raised a brow and smirked to him, "Hello Alex, How's the cubs?" He questioned, moving closer to the Tigon, he left the conversation away from Alex which he rightfully started, but was actually only waiting for him to respond, He then stole a glance to Nala, "So these Rogues, Were with Scar? Perhaps I know them..." he said in a soft voice so only she could actually hear him,

He looked right back at the Tigon, for some odd reasons he just couldn't stop staring at him, it wasn't like a stalking stare, but more of a curiousity stare, of which he wanted to learn more about him.

Tekua looked on at the scene as things started to unfold, it seemed Simba had finally found his son, but what Simba didn't know.. Was his son wanted him dead.. He looked on as the two started to leave the cavern and he raised a brow, mostly to Rac to see what he was planning, but it was too late, he had already walked out and was out of sight,

He stole a glance to Sengalo, "We never planned anything before after this... What are we going to do if we arent accepted, and what if we are?" He asked. Sengalo might not have looked like much from the outside but in reality he was all brains, and that's all you really needed to win a fight, especially if your opponent was bigger than you, Technique overcomes Strength. And from what Tekua had witnessed with the young Adolescent, Technique was fully his style.

Other than that question, Nothing else was going through the young lions mind, Having a clear consience(sp?) is the key to victory as some had usually said to him in his travels, and now that he was here, He'd put those lessons to use.

Near Pride Rock

Tariku eyed Alex with a confused look, a tad of distrust in his eyes as well. This lion was spilling a lot of information to him, and they didn't even know each other's names! It just made him feel uncomfortable. Was this what lions did in a pride...? Trust each other so easily? He wasn't even in the pride, so he didn't know.

To make him even more fidgety, the other male was just.... staring. Like a cub, the tigon hunkered down lower on his lanky legs and shifted his eyes to the dark-maned male. A gulp wetted his throat before he answered the elder's question in a low, almost inaudible voice. "T...Tari..ku..."

"My cubs are fine thanks Kovu. They are being minded buy the lionesses who are looking after the cubs."Alex said before diping his head in respect to Kovu.

Alex realy didn't know what to do with the tigron to get him to understand that he too was reliced into the wild. Then he remberd his fisrt day in the pridelands and how sacred he was of Mufassa. But that was many years ago.

Alex knew alot about humans and their ways. As well as what exactly the hibred was. But none of this was easy to convay to Tariku. But what would Tariku think if he told him the whole trouth now.

Alex realy just wanted to put Tariku at ease.

Kivoru was feeling a little strange about the new comers to the Pridelands, Rogues don't come around very often, " I wonder what gradma and gramps are doing." he said under his breath, looking back where he left the adults alone to talk. Catching the scent of his father he began to trot onward.

After a few moments, he finally saw the dark fur of his father and the cream fur of his grandmother, cautiously he gazed at the other blurrs of fuzz he saw from his perch on the hill. "There they a--" the sudden rumbling of Kivo's stomach inturrupted him. he ignored it and continued on down the hill, when it happened again, "I'll eat later..." he said to himself. Not wanting to give away his position he remained low to the ground and snuck up behind his dad to evesdrop on their conversation.
