eeekkk so many posts since i last came into this thread Oo XD.

i was just looking through some pictures of when i went to see anna in October, and i noticed one was missing in my photo bucket account. so i proberly haven't shared it with you guys ^^, and i gotta say, its another one of my favs ^^

I went to New Iberia, Louisiana, America for about 3 weeks to visit my oldest sister, Jessica, who is on the left in the above photo. We did some stuff down there, including a trip to the Acadiana Zoo. That's where I got those Siberian Tiger photos. We got alot more of panthers, maneless Tsavo lions, monkeys, and other animals. When I tune them up in Photoshop I'll post a link to the photobucket account in case yall'd like to see 'em.

First one I was spinning my nieces around on a round about. Second/Third one I climbed this mini plastic rock wall, and sat up there trying to catch a breath. Fourth one, my mom, sister, and I took the kids to the pool and we had to stay on guard seeing as it was a private pool, and Greta my niece screamed for help if she went out more than a foot.

I've got a Russian dog tag and a Mosin Nagant 7.62 X 54 full metal jack round on a string. It's been fired and I ripped the head out of a alluminum jacket that was welded very poorly and misfired. There's no powder in there. They found it at the airport in America and did a little inquiring. [laughs a bit] I'm surprised I managed to keep it.

I've never had that many comments about my outfit, lol. Usually I encounter Vietnam Veterans in a market or in the park and they stare, and like...like O_O;;;;;;;;WTFover!? And I get real nervous and we get locked in the stare down from Vietnam like I've got me an SKS and him a SpringfieldBritish or something and then he pulls on his wifes arm and I dart for the shrubbery.

Recieved the USB cable for my camera today and got ready for holiday photos. My dad will be gnawing at the bit for me to take pictures. It's a slideshow.

In German that means Camp Charm-Box. That is officialy the name of my home now, ordered by me. My father is the Fuhrer, my mother the ReichsFuhrer, I'm Sutrmbannfuhrer, and my younger brother is Haputmannfuhrer. So far so good.

1) My cat, Poppy, wincing at the flash. There's a rusty sock in the background; that's shoe polish. Used it to shine my combat boots earlier. Rafiki doll and what not.

2) Raptor, my swift lizard. Sun bathing after a good Christmas meal.

3) Raptor's crib `yo.

4) Soviet Pumpkin! It's a MiG fighter jet cap and Nazi Motor Bike goggles strapped to a miniture pumpkin. What does that even mean.

5) Raptor again, getting complacent with the camera noises.

6) Lower crib.

7) The concentration camp. Here we keep the crickets, feed them vita-pellets and nutra-jell to sustain their sorry existance until the wee lizard demands sustanence.

8) Talking to a very close Russian friend early in the morning here. There's an MKIV Male Tank under the compeh!

9) Ach. Wolfgang, my orange tabby. Now nicknamed Conan. So he's fat, ja? And we got him a flea cone. They usualy go the -other- direction, but he couldn't eat, which I considered a good factor but obviously my judgement is far from morally in check in the household. It was put on backwards for his "benefit".

10) Close up of the conage.

11) Air holes, so he can ..breathe? No, pop holes to make it smaller. We tried Chihuahua size but it didn't work out so well. Oh and he licks his cone.

13) I found the ?ber stash of choco kisses. The bag rustles, camera flash, mom goes Get OUT-OFTHEDAMNBAGNOW!

14) Zee living room. We had a Herman Goring feast; sausage, crackers, iced tea, cola, beer, cheese, and pretzles. Had a nice chat and some loud arguing but considerably tolerable fellowship. Then resumed holiday cleaning.

15) The Boob-Tube. Can't believe they called a tv that back in the 50's.

16) Fireplace to be lit tomorrow. My stocking with the Afrika Corps. hat above it to the left, and my brother's to the right with a gangster hat.

17) Blurred Christmas Tree.

18) Ah ha. Now here's a story not worth telling. So my Dad and I have this ongoing bantering about WW2 Krauts in the house, especially in Germany. So one day we're putting up the tree and I mentioned the Krauts had Swasteek balls for Christmas. He lit up like a roman candle. My brother and I decided we'd buy cheapie balls, then sharpie and glitter glue them. My mom allowed it haha. It's souly to antagonize my aging father.

19) My brother's rack of 15 Christmas balls. The green one is a Hindu-Swasteek; means good luck. My brother wasn't mentally present apparently..on any of them for that matter.

20) My work. Not bad considering the sharpie was a fargin' chissle tip, and glitter glue was practically water with air bubbles. We plant them very soon. Half life of Nazi Christmas balls in Zacharko household? Before my father finds a baseball bat? 5 seconds. My mom said to me, Jesus died for the Nazis too. But I'm not condoning anything.

Came down and after everyone was gone I opened the -big one-. A Vintovka Mosina [Mosin-Nagant] 1942 Sniper with PU scope, cherry red stock and base, with wood and metal stamped out the ying yang. We spent all night marking down the Russian stamps and tracking them. She's a Tula. The scope is 1943 and is not in accordance with gun. However, it has the date on it which is odd, and the mount plate is alluminum, where the common plateing is steel. Perplexed my dad a bit there.

The authentic papers from 1950 hand written in pure ink with 5 individual Rusky signatures approving her repair and storage. Every detail of that scope is marked on that paper. Well you don't know crock about them WW2 rifles so, leave the posture to me.

I didn't have the strap on, otherwise I'd have twined my arm in it and held her taught to my shoulder. Right elbow down parraelle with my collar bone, and my left hand out a bit more to support her. However I wasn't exactly in good physical health and she was rather heavy, and my mother had a long time setting the camera to take a photo.

I've been shooting for 8 years, ww2 rifles, shotguns, cap and ball, black powder, and a spot of the modern stuff. I've spent the equivilant to 9 months at a gun range, and have fine tuned all my owned rifles and am working on my mosin now.

That, and I was damn tired and couldn't see. Read next time. I don't need your critiscism. I find what you said rather offensive given the circumstances. That was casual posing not military pre-op training.

I have the bore sight aligned now, but the scope is going to take time. Got about 4 hours of filing the mount down and setting the hairs. It's not like modern scopes, you'd have to google it to see; a bit harder.

Now this is -the- peak. We all in our house have a title from the the new series battlestar galactica. I'm Kara Thrace [Starbuck], my younger brother is Lee Adama [Apollo], my father is Admiral Adama, and my mother is President Roslin. We all love the series and the roles fit perfectly.

So my brother says, One day you walk in the command room and you see Admiral Adama doin' the move. and he did this, sliding break dance that was amazing and humorous. Then he turned on a song and said he was Herman Goring blubbering about and then he stuffed a jacket in his pants and wanted to dance. I said, No no. I'll turn it on, you come out, and break dance. So here it is. I have to say, I never knew my brother knew how to dance at all, and even though it's nothing 'professional', it just made me piss my pants.

You'll hear the call sign 2/3rds of the way in, Do the Adama!, and then you will see, the number one Galactica break dance. XD
