Fuzzy can be busy with his other web development projects, so I wanted to pass along some information on his behalf, should there be ongoing problems:
If you've noticed slow load times or the site not loading at all from time to time, it is related to a sudden increase of traffic on several other websites that are co-hosted on the server.
One in particular received a bit of press through another website and Twitter, and consequently received over a million hits in one day, both from outside links and coding in the site that refreshes information regularly. The automatic page refreshes and other functions have been temporarily disabled on that site to mitigate bandwidth and processor load. In addition, Fuzzy has had to reboot the server a number of times to impliment these changes, which will explain Lea being down for minutes at a time.
When I spoke with Fuzzy on Friday he was considering a server upgrade should the amount of activity warrant it.
