I didn't get the chance to talk about when I was in Vegas earlier this year. So, without further ado, here it is... (SUMMARIZED):

January ? I arrived at McCarran International Airport late at night. I got off the airplane, then headed towards the monorail, off I was to the parcels claim department, to pick up my belongings.

Afterwards, leaving the airport, I arrived at my domicile to get some sleep immediately (because, jet-lag sucks horribly) . The first few days I was there I was tremendously sick. After those days past, I was ready for the Las Vegas Experience. The first things that I noticed was - when I got around Vegas 'twas; the pr0nography 'mongst the newsstands. Don't think it was here and there, no, it WAS EVERYWHERE!

It was surreal, to say the least of things. Time after; I got a job as an unarmed security supervisor. Oh, Lord! Daytime Vegas is cool, but at night, OMFG, let's say, I thought I've seen it all. I worked for various casinos internally. Working aside with the LVMPD, I wasn't worried, much! -- Until, you go at it alone for the first time, watching a proprietor's business with heavy gang activity, (fortunately for me, the security was a tightly woven team) .

February ? After seeing how things were, I've gotten used to Vegas's charm, (even after seeing more crime that I could ever imagine seem possible) . The worst incidents in Vegas was automotive accidents. There was way too many to phantom. I eventually got the time to see the Expos and they were ever so sweet. Time in between at work & all of this, I did get the time to talk to some Lea peps like Woes, and Sharifu (cellular telephone of course) . --- I was having a great time, but... I couldn't handle the climate anymore : ( .

March ? I was just to fed up with the sickness; so I had to leave. By mid-March, I was on my way out... So, I left returning to MD, temporarily.

There is a few things - I'm still willing to do. But, that's hearsay for now.

Spanks for reading, peace out...

EDIT: I've forgotten to mention my fave casino, the Hilton.

:D

:thinks:

Hmm... I spent about $1000.00 in all. (*all - casino expenditures*) I gambled about $500.00 dollars and then I yielded after getting only about a 2/3rd of it back.

;)

Ahhhh Vegas...I hate the place. It's hot, it's busy, there's porn on every street. The casinos, the smoke, the chicks trying to be picked up. And plus, my family doesn't gamble and i wouldn't want to. It's way too overrated...

Yeah, in my opinion, it's not even worth the trip *sigh* We have to pass through it -every- time we travel to California and i hate it...

Indeed! The massive pornography on every street (even though it's censored), is just too senseless. I'm sorry, but that crap really outraged me in all aspects.

"Money talks and bullshi* walks." -- I was thinking the same; "Well you know, what about the children who go up & down the street? Why do they have to see stuff like that?" Questions like those are ignored by that city because, the Money is the powers that be - and the Bullshi* is the politicians.

HERE HERE! I don't know what people see in las vegas...The chance to lose all your money, the chance to cheat on your wife and get away with it, the chance to get drunk and marry somebody you don't even know and get up the next day and get divorced. Wow, sounds like a ton of fun to me.

Well I'm glad you you enjoyed some of your time there Sonique!

I don't remember much about Vegas... I just remember seeing the Siegfried and Roy Show there when I was little, which was pretty neat! (I hope Roy is doing ok now) :(
