This forum needed a thread and some posts, and since I haven't done any off-topic art lately, it's photography.
So, here's some recent photos.
-A grey teal, they're quite nice birds. Very attractive in their plain-ness.
-Nankeen kestrel.
-Western pygmy possum with her babies :D

Pictures of animals are always so cute ^^
Especially ones I've never really seen before, hehe.
I only have garden pictures.
And I still haven't got the hang of my new camera, only the manual functions I have just learned how to really work with those.
And sometimes, it's like, the object jumps out, lol.
Here are a few from the past month...
Oh, and some cute goats, look at them smile :D
The white flower will become a pear ^^
The pink/red "flowers" on the 2nd picture, came out of the thinggy on picture 1 o_O
(they are red berries)

I was literally about to start this thread myself (then got a bit sidetracked by something else), hehe :D
you're bird photos are really good, and that possum is terribly cute:)
Let me see if I can find a couple of my recent photographs (pictures are clickable, by the way, to see a bigger version ;)).
This one is if Tug, my favourite animal in the whole world, technically not the best photo ever (fraking fences) but this was too good a picture to pass up

And one of Port Lympne zoos illusive snow leopards, seriously, these guys hardly ever come out.

Oh cool, I loved this thread ^^ All of your pictures are great. Nath, I really like how vibrant the flowers are in yours. =)
I just got a new camera (well, a hand-me-down from my aunt, but it's a lot better than my old one). I don't have the cable to hook it up to my laptop though, so nothing to share as of yet. =/
So these are all old, some of them by several years. xP

One of the zoos near me is having a bit of a baby boom at the moment, I went round a few weeks back and there were baby animals all over the place :D I took a ton of photographs, but haven't had chance to go through them all yet, however here are a couple of the best ones. Click the pictures to see bigger pictures.
First up is a baby ring tailed lemur, I've taken quite a liking to lemurs recently. They're incredibly cute and really playful, great fun to watch. The babies are even cuter ;)

Next up is a pair of tiger cubs that came to the zoo after veing rejected by their mother and are now being hand reared. At the time this was taken they were only 10 weeks old.

Awwww babies! :D
I think I'll post a few photos for a change. I mostly take photos of animal at SeaWorld or the zoo. I like to do portraits of our animals too, especially my cat, Kit-Kat, who is a camera ho.
These are mostly from when I was just learning to use my new camera. I'm still learning, but I feel like I'm making progress.

Love the yellow poison dart frog, Hasirakali! Did you have to take that through a glass boundary (ie, an aquarium wall)? If so, I'm really impressed, most look washed-out and dull after photographing through glass! The flamingos are so fun as well! ^^

Sorry this is so late, Pnt. Yes, that was through two panes of glass actually. They have a plexi in front and then the actual aquarium behind that.
That soda bread looks delicious.

Sombolia! What process did you use for that first photo? I really dig the color scheme, the water looks straight off a slide of the discontinued kodachrome 64. And that makes me flail.
Cheetahstar, love the lions! Hope you didn't have to get too close, what with the whole getting-eaten-by-a-lion-can-really-ruin-your-day thing! :P

I've piloted a small boat in storm force winds up without too much trouble, and this storm made me uneasy. The sky looked like it was boiling, low altitude clouds were moving around 90mph east to west and we had several tornadoes downwind. This is it just moving in from the northeast, too bad I shot it so tilted :(

Here's some other information on the story:

If you asked me that was not a brave act, but a rather stupid one. The photographer was incredibly lucky though in every aspect.

This reminds me of a lioness who took the camera of a photographer: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/lion-steals-photog-camera-african-safari-article-1.1210873
She treated the camera very gently and once she was bored of it they took it back and was still working perfectly fine. ^^

Thanks CGW! And agreed. Snow and cold weather can be nice, but not for very long...same with any extreme temperatures, really.
The last days temperatures have been around 0 here and our house isolation is not very good so I can really feel it, especially in the evening. I end up walking around wrapped up in blankets wherever I go.:p
Btw, a few days ago I found this in the same woods: 104410451046104710481049
