I may have to edit my packing :p Though I've never had a problem with weight limits before, I think it's meant to be 23kg for both bags combined, although I'm unsure on that... it may be 23kg each but the Delta website isn't very clear on that, but last time coming back, one of my bags was 23kg on it's own :lol: I only know because they put a 'heavy' tag on it with the weight. So perhaps it is 23kg each, which would be awesome, not that I'll get anywhere near that, but it'll give me some flexibility.

Going through my loot from the national art ed. conference I just returned from. It's like checking out your trick-or-treat spoils but for artists! Tons of free art supplies-- prismacolor markers, Fimo clay, glazes, Tombow markers (possibly my new favorite markers--soooo blendy!), some new stuff that's just come out on the market, and a great new set of paintbrushes, woo hoo! Not to mention books and lesson plans, sketchbooks....okay, I'll stop rambling. Let's just say I'll have plenty to play around with over spring break. :D

I text Kenny I'm at that doctor's office, as our regular doctor isn't in today.
Kenny tells me I have to take a card with an hour on it, and come back on that time o_O
(I didn't even saw the board when entering, I walked straight into the waiting room)

What is this? I'm sick, I'm going to a doctor, not to a butcher picking a number and waiting my turn for some bacon -_-

So now I have to go back at 11.20 am *sigh*

There's another lady doctor on that same street, but I don't like her, so I refuse to go to her :/

Well, I got there at 11.10, my time was 11.20 and I was in his office at 11.55 *ugh*

I'm not really satisfied, I don't know.
He was really nice, explained a lot to me, he felt my stomach, he didn't seem to feel that anything was wrong with it (like, a hard stomach or something).

The back of my head is hurting, so obviously since last night I'm thinking I got a brain tumor or something like that, which made me panic big time this morning!
He totally reassured me, that it's NOT the case, lol, yes, I have panic disorder, I tend to make things a lot worse.

Now I'm sitting here on the sofa, bored, and the back of my head is still hurting.

I never should have went, but I was sick of feeling sick for 5 days in a row, I really wanted to see a doctor.
But I should have just waited till tomorrow the regular one was back.

While we're on the subject of doctors, there's a walk-in centre here where you can make an appointment if you can't get an appointment with the doctors surgery you're registered with. You can normally get an appointment on that day, even on Sundays, which is really handy. The doctors at my surgery are usually ok, but sometimes you can't get an appointment until the following week. -_- You could be better by then.

Right now I'm just watching a bit of TV.

Seems like Belgium is a very easy country when needing a doctor.

Every regular doctor has his own practice hours.
Apart from those hours some do take appointments, and most of them do housecalls in between their practice hours.

You don't have to call them in advance or anything, you just go there, and wait in the waiting room, till it is, eventually your turn.
I say "eventually" because at my own doctor's, he starts his practice at 9.30 am, but you have to go already at 8.30 am, so you'll be the first one there.
If you come in at, let's say 10 am, there'll be like 7-8 people in front of you, and it takes FOREVER with my doctor.
He'll do other stuff while you're sitting in his office.

But then again, we've been going there for 35 years now, and we refuse to switch to another one, haha.

I heard in Holland, you have to call first, and the assistent will decide if you are sick enough to actually come to the doctor or not o_O

Also watching some TV now.
Taped a lot of stuff, and watching those things now, so I can empty the recorder a little.

I ended up having to wait until evening to go to the equivalent of an "evening walk-in centre". What I want to see them for now isn't urgent, so I can't go to that place again and, like I said, I really don't trust the surgery I'm registered with at the moment. This town is notorious for having a bad healthcare system too, so, yay.

As for the topic, right now I'm doing some sketches for the student festival I work for. I'm in the middle of a terrible artist block, so it's not going great x_x

I'm wondering what I should do tonight... I don't feel very good, I been sick since last Thursday and instead of regular getting sick where first day is the worst for me every passing day has been worse than the last one. I have a stuffy nose and sore throat, no fever... but can feel a lot of pressure built up in my head... Also I found out today at work that my "boss" well the press operator when I started working last summer, died today after fighting cancer for a little over half a year... He was going through chemotherapy twice a week and radiation every day and it seemed to be working until in November when they found another tumor that they had over looked and on that tumor the radiation they used wasn't the right one... Anyways, I hardly got to know him... pretty much a week after I started working he found out about his condition and started the treatments. It is just really weird to think he is gone as he was still coming to work in Mid January... All I can say is that he was putting on heck of a fight, may he rest in peace.

I guess I kind of went of the subject there, but that is pretty much what been going on in my life right now so I just thought of sharing... not that it will cheer anybodies day...

Well I guess I will at least end my post in positive tone and announce that I will be getting up now and going to get some ice cream. It's not necessarily what I'm doing right now but it will be once I get it.

That's so strange. I've had the odd clinic that wasn't accepting new patients at the time because I suppose they're too full. But 99% of clinics you can just ring up and schedule an appointment.

Well, when I say old flame I mean on my end...it was more of a one-way flame of the unrequited sort. At least I'm pretty sure, anyway.....either way, it's all pretty irrelevant at this point. xD I don't feel too weird about it, it's been a good long while since we were even an "option" if one could say that. Just kind of funny how life twists and turns us down certain paths and strange to think back on how crazy I was about him and how we stand now, ya know? :]

Just browsing forums, drinking some iced coffee. Trying to get some advice on Bandit's behaviour. He went crazy for the first 30 minutes when I brought him out again. He jumped his gate three times, so I made it almost twice the height, then he jumped that too... so I just took the higher gate down to prevent him hurting himself. Might also resume playing pokemon... :lol: Back when pokemon was huge I was never really a fan, I didn't have cards, or play the games, but quite a few years back my friend gave me the emulators and every now and then I start playing, then I get part way through a game, then don't touch it for 2 years :p I've never finished a game or gotten more than maybe... 4 badges. I think I just like all the little animals :D

I gave up on MSN (and Hotmail) ages ago xP Skype used to be a whole lot better, but of course, now that Microsoft has the run of it I'm pretty sure it'll keep degrading to the same low levels as MSN :'D I agree though, why is every website/application so eager to fix things that aren't broken? I haven't seen a single major website make an overhaul for the better in many, many years, hah.

That's exactly my problem! Actually, my problem is that I've never keyworded and labelled any of my photos in the last several years and it's getting to me. It would be so much easier to cull the bad ones if I could compare all my rainbow bee-eater images together, rather than having them dispersed through folders sorted by date and location. It's been much too long in the making. Plus it will help me clear space on my laptop, which means room for more photos (mainly the ones I had to remove onto my external to make room for current ones :lol:) Long story short, I take too many photos :p

Just relaxing, haven't felt great lately as I have some weird freaky salivary gland infection, who knew that was even possible! I think the penicillin tablets I got are just making me feel a tad off.
